Sunrise Coffee & Donuts

Went there for breakfast. It's located off a major street, so you have to be careful when turning into the parking lot due to oncoming traffic. It's a nice, small coffee shack that offers both breakfast and coffee. We tried the monkey toast, which was unique and delicious. The only downside was the server; she seemed to have a bit of an attitude. If someone isn't happy in a service role, perhaps it's not the right fit. Otherwise, the breakfast itself was good.

Cool little place off the side of the road with 2 food truck, one serving coffees and lattes and the other made to order donuts. Ordered avocado toast, coconut latte and 3 donuts. Everything was good but the hot sauce for the toast was ?? and the matcha donut was my favorite.

Nice little stop for a sweet treat. Best to get a sample and share we found. The smell of hot oil is a little off putting as you first arrive. However, the doughnuts are clearly fresh and the flavors are fun.

Sunrise Coffee is a fantastic spot! I had a latte with oat milk, and it was absolutely perfect ? smooth, creamy, and full of flavour. The highlight of our visit was meeting their adorable resident cat, Rosie, who added such a charming touch to the experience. We couldn?t resist supporting her by purchasing a sticker/magnet/air freshener pack, which was a lovely way to contribute to her care. Highly recommend stopping by for great coffee and an even better vibe!

The coffee is good. I wish I could say great but it?s just average. The woman serving us was fantastic and when a drink wasn?t what was expected she was great about fixing it to make it more what was desired. The donut place next door was closed but it?s a cute location to take pictures.

Stopped by and grabbed coffees, the cashier was not very friends and seemed like she was busy doing something else and we were inconveniencing her. We asked her to inform us what was in one of the coffees and she very vaguely said ? just spices and milk?. The coffee shop itself is super cute and has very cute aesthetics. The coffee was pretty bitter. We had a better overall experience at the Aloha Roastrey down the street & much cheaper.

Food and coffee at this place was average in taste and expensive. The tables were very dirty! They should consider having napkins and a spray bottle available for people to clean their own tables.

Charming food truck with ample seating and a great atmosphere. The donuts were delicious. They?re more bready and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. They definitely have a homemade taste. The avocado toast, however, was a bit disappointing, especially for $13.50. The avocado tasted slightly old, and the toast was overcooked. Despite this, it was still a filling breakfast option.

They make the donuts right when you order them!! The coffee was delish! Hubby got a chai and loved it! We loved that it was locally owned as well!

I loved my stop at Sunrise Coffee! After a morning of adventure, it was refreshing to have some delicious coffee to fuel me for the rest of the day. There are so many amazing flavors! It was hard to choose, but per the recommendation of the friendly staff, I got the White Mocha Toffee Latte and was not disappointed! We drove past this spot a couple times and the place looked inviting. Went here one morning. The place was already getting crowded. One of the owners helped me find a spot to park my car. Roadside stop, came early around 730am so there was no line. Very large coffee variety menu. If you?re doing both coffee side and donut side, recommend maybe going donuts first as they are made to order. But given there were no people it actually didn?t take long. Avo toast was probably least impressive item but still good.

My family and I stopped here to get breakfast on our way to check out some beaches further north on Kauai. It is the cutest roadside coffee shop! This seems like a popular roadside stop along the highway. We enjoyed everything we had here. Well we took it for the road there was a great covered spot so enjoy your drinks or a?ai bowls. Parking; there is limited parking in front of the food trucks and seating. But note that there is a well sized parking area just to the right of the caf?. If you get a?ai bowl I highly recommend trying the bee pollen on it as well really added a delicious flavor.

Wanted to support a local business so drove out to Sunrise for breakfast. Got an iced latte at one trailer and a made-to-order chocolate donut from the next trailer. Donut trailer is cash only. Both latte and donut were delicious.

We went to the little coffee hut first. Iced coffees were delicious/10, then went to grab a couple doughnuts and found them a little underwhelming. Aesthetic of the place was so cute and cool, we loved it. Nice spot to sit and have a coffee.

The coffee stand and the Donut shop were in separate buildings on the same lot. The donuts, while expensive at $4.50 a donut were made fresh and absolutely worth it. They had unique flavors, I got the chai & churro. Both fantastic The coffee was $7+ for a medium. It was good but more expensive than I thought it was worth. I got an iced vanilla late.

Loved the iced mocha! It had just the right amount of caffeine to curb the onset of a migraine. Friendly & quick service. We got there at non-rush hours and had no trouble finding parking and picnic table.

The BEST acai bowls on the island! So fresh with tons of topping options. The granola to acai ratio is perfection not to mention the granola is the perfect crispness and the fruit on top is divine- fresh, and juicy. We visited in February and it was our first stop on our trip this time around. I had to buy a shirt last time because I loved it so much :) Cute vibes, everyone that works here is so friendly and have great energy. Left side truck is coffee, avo toast and acai bowls. Right side truck (in garage) is fresh made donuts. Cold brew is 4/5 stars, but the acai bowl and avo toast (on organic sourdough) are both quite good. Tried tie Matcha and Chai donuts fresh made, take 5-8 minutes to make. Cool operation. I prefer these donuts to Holy Grail Donuts which tastes too vegetal. Probably the better ?gourmet? donut flavors on the island. Light, airy but sweet and good glaze flavors. 4.50 each or sampler for $15. Good tas

We had the Ube, Dragon Fruit, Churro, and Strawberry Shortcake donuts, and they were all 10/10 amazing. I also tried the avocado toast and the macadamia vanilla latte with the macadamia milk and both were outstanding. Everything tasted so fresh. Donuts are made fresh to order! We took ours to go so this was our view while we ate them. Would highly recommend.

Found this cute minimalist cafe on the side of the road. It?s an easy miss, so be careful when you approach! Overpriced for Starbucks quality It?s outdoor and has just two benches. Enough parking for 4-5 cars though. Limited food options - Bagel, Avacado Toast, A?a? Bowl and a wide variety of Coffee. If you?re lucky, there could be other baked goodies, unless the local bakers are on a vacation ? We had - Avacado Toast, Plain Bagel, 2 Macadamia Vanilla Lattes ( Cold and Hot). ?? I hate to leave a 4-star review but prepare to pay for every part of your coffee (their recommended milk +$, their recommend flavors +$). I expect to pay more for food in Hawaii, but the $8.50 price for an iced latte was shocking, especially given their ?base? prices on the menu. The coffee was fine; the donuts were great!

Such a great coffee shop! The baristas were so friendly. The coffee tasted great, as did the avocado toast and everything bagel. The pricing seemed very appropriate to us for a small coffee shop + island pricing. Also enjoyed meeting Rosie, the shop cat. 10/10 recommend stopping by if you find yourself on the east coast of the island!

We only got the doughnuts here. It IS a different doughnut style that tasted great. May not be for everyone, but I definitely enjoyed it. Edit: I believe the fresh doughnuts are done on the weekends and during the weekdays they are dropped off at the place.

This is the BEST coffee on the island. As someone who lives in coffee central (Los Angeles) this is easily the best I?ve had on the island. I?ve tried around 4 different shops from each side of the island. Sunrise Coffee takes the win for the best cold brew. Wake up early, beat the morning traffic and grab a cold brew with a bagel. You can thank me later. Will be back everyday for the rest of our trip! Tons of parking as a heads up and an outdoor eating area.

Delicious breakfast on Easter Sunday. Although I typically don?t like flavored coffees I decided to try one. The A?a? was excellent. Vibe is great. Glad we found the out the way coffee truck- it's a delight! There's a few parking spots right in front, but they turn over pretty quickly so even if there's no space to park you could wait a few to see who's finished. Otherwise there is a road just after the turning that people had parked on the verge. They have a full coffee menu, plus bagels, avo toast, pastries, and acai bowls with a range of toppings you can add. AND it's one of the few places I've found on Kauai that has nut free granola- hallelujah!!

Not a good place for breakfast. Didn?t try the coffee. A?a? bowl was smaller than we hoped, and the avocado toast had a strong zing like the oil or something went sour. We thought it was overpriced for what you get.

Donut size and fluffy texture only depends on the person who is making your order. I thought I was getting a big fluffy vibrant donut like on their insta, but I just skinny rings of was disappointment. The difference is sad. 5$ for a sad ring donut? come on. I thought this would beat holy grail?. But it was holy fail. Decent flavors is just Ube and half decent matcha. Strawberry cheesecake tasted just straight up jam. Chocolate wasn?t special as I thought just some sprinkles of crumb on the top.

Easily was one of our favourite places to grab some a?ai during our month stay on the island. It was filling, fresh and delicious. We also indulged in their avocado toast which was topped with a yummy seasoning and was over a sourdough tasting bread. Yum! For sure take the time one morning to try this place. However a little pricey, it?s worth it here! Happy to support this business any day.

Great local spot. The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent and we will be going back when we are next on the island. All the doughnuts are top notch. Chase provided great service and was very helpful. Loved most of the flavors. Matcha isn?t great. Would love to see a maple bacon on the menu.

This is a must stop, if you want coffee that is flavorful amd made right, this is the place to go! Their Avo Toast is hands down the best on the island and their smiling faces as the get crushed by orders (all the while knocking the orders out perfectly) is the embodiment of the Aloha!!

I had their berry a?ai bowl, it was good. Nice honey topping and a good amount of granola and berries on top. Less fancy visually, but a very yummy bowl. It was a bit more expensive than some other bowls even though there are less toppings in it, likely just because berries are typically more expensive on the island. The bowl was the perfect size for a breakfast, I wouldn?t order any other food items with it unless you plan on sharing. Nice little stop.

Espresso with soy milk was yummy, but not creamy enough. We also got macadamia nut vanilla latte? it tastes like McDonald?s vanilla latte. Not creamy and very artificial vanilla taste, which way overpowers the coffee aroma. Two cups of mediocre coffee (16oz) for $16? Hmmm not sure about this place ??

A nice spot off the side of the road for some quick food. The staff is awesome. There are some picnic tables with umbrellas that are available. A nice touch since it rained while we were here getting breakfast. There are a lot of quick options for breakfast different options for toast and lattes.

This is probably one of the most expensive coffees I have ever drunk, just thinking how it tastes makes me want to throw up! Sunrise coffee is excellent! Their cold brew is insanely good and it has kept me coming back every day. They have a wide range of pastries, coffee, and teas that look to be able to suit anyone's cravings. The employees are super chill and very friendly. I highly recommend stopping by for a sip.

We were dragging after an early morning start. This was a very welcome stop before heading for the falls. Be alert if leaving the lot to the North, cars can come down the hill pretty quickly and the road is wide because of the turn.

You guys treated me like dirt. All I did was ask for a cold brew with ?light ice? and the woman who poured my drink mocked me after I saw her fill my cup all the way with ice and I asked for less. Then she intentionally poured less in my cup instead of filling it with cold brew to the top. For as much as this place charges for a 16oz cold brew ($7) you should get a full glass of coffee. I was fortunate to stumble across this GEM of a coffee spot.. Tons of Aloha here you can taste it in the delicious espresso ?? customer service is great and fellow caffeine addicts are always happy to chat ??
