Donuts are moldy do not recommend. This place used to be our favorite but not after this experience.

Yummy. Fresh and tasty. The lady is so nice. Gave me a few donuts as I said they are for my kids who want to have a for a while. Clean shop. Freshly made. They also serve coffee. My go to place for donut ??

I heard about this place from a coworker who said they opened up recently. I decided to check them out since I was in the area and wow they were a lot better than I was expecting. Most donut shops I go to they have this weird artificial taste to them but these donuts tasted really fresh and natural. Sun Donuts is a great spot with friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. The donuts are fresh and delicious, though prices have been going up a bit. Still, the quality and service make it a good choice for a quick treat!

Good Morning Everyone I love it here you can smell the FRESHNESS when you walk in, and Everyone was super nice greeting you as you come in. The donuts are fresh very soft as soon as you put the donuts in your hands ??, and just deviously heaven.

the only thing helping this place is the young lady helper,I bought a milk that turned out to be expired, I tried calling but I?m pretty sure # is not updated new lady isn?t nice and does not give free donuts anymore. Donuts are not the same, the place you isn?t even big for there to be 2 day expired milk

Not only are their donuts amazing, but their customer service is unmatched. Such wonderful people!! We love coming here every opportunity we get. The kolaches are also excellent. It?s always such a great experience all around.

Update: Even though customer service remains good, the quality of products is lowering. Not sure if because of high-prices but for example, the sausage rolls are more bread than sausage, coffee tastes burnt and they have less products available. Hopefully this will improve or they will lose customers. Having a bad day? I'm sure the lady in charge will put you in a good mood. Delicious Kolaches and donuts.

Donuts tasted passable but not great. Worst is 3/6 of our jam donuts didn't have filling. She pumped them but their filler was apparently low or "jammed".

This is my favorite donut shop. I don?t even really live close to this shop but I go out of my way to come over here. The staff is amazing and very sweet. They have the cutest character donuts for kids. Kolaches and donut holes are always delicious! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good donut and a smiling friendly person to talk to.

Omgoodness they are the best donuts in garland. We drive 8 miles and is so worth it . Y?all the apple fritters are sooo yummy actually we now have tried everything except for the kid donuts and we are trying them next . They never ever taste like oil always fresh and the owners are so sweet . Absolutely delicious ??

The cinnamon roll is to die for . I believe they have new owners from previous 2 owners. The Hispanic girl who works on the weekends is a great people?s person I love her. The new owners are super nice and staff is great. They brought prices up but everything taste delicious!

3/31/24 Update: Ownership has changed hands and the nice woman that worked there is gone. Service has dropped off and you get exactly ZERO extra donut holes with anything. What kind of donut shop is this? Good service, fast, tasty food, and owner was super nice. Sausage rolls were a highlight, as was the jelly roll that?s filled while you wait.

This place is great! The donuts are light and airy, and the kids love them. The best part, though, is that the owner is such a nice man! He gave us some extra donuts, and was smiling the whole time. You can tell he really cares about people, and loves his job. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

The best donut shop in garland, they open early and close late. The taste of their kolaches are superb, they have a variety selection and the owners are always so friendly! The customer service is so unique due to the fact that they are so kind and energetic. I love coming here in the morning to get breakfast for me and my siblings. Best donuts in town, in my opinion.

Moved to a nearby neighborhood recently and had to try out this local donut shop as per my cravings. The donuts and sausage rolls were prepared exactly how I expected them and tasted great. What's better is that the service is top notch; I mean the lady there was just so sweet and fun to chat with. Definitely check this place out!

Update: I believe this is the 2 management change since the sweet lady left. We miss her! This is a basic donut shop, food got better with the second management. This is exactly how I remember a mom and pop run donut shop. The place is clean, the owners are polite, and the donuts are delicious. I ordered 4 pigs in a blanket and the sweet lady warmed them up for me (I didn?t even ask!). That was very thoughtful of her. A dozen donuts go for $6.90. They do stick with the basics and do it very well. Y?all do yourself the favor and check out this neighborhood gem. I will be returning.

Great family run donut shop in South Garland! The owners are extremely nice and their selection of donuts is great but not overwhelming. They focus on doing the core donuts correctly and add some bright and creative decorations. This place deserves your love. Please support local business.

There's a new lady and she has no sympathy whatsoever. Not even 1 stinkin' donut for a child's birthday. "No, I already gave you free donuts holes" she said. Lady seems dry and doesn't smile. She always comes from the back with a crumb on the side of her mouth. Gross.

I have never been met with anything other than smiles and laughter here. The customer service is top notch and the owners/employees always brighten my day. Any opportunity I have to go here I take advantage of. On top of all that, the donuts are absolutely delicious. 100% the best in the garland. If you?re in the area, you HAVE to stop in.

Great food. Owner lady always welcomes with you smile. They always gives us extra, if my kids are with us then she gives us extra donuts for them plus mini donuts. I always buy pig in the blanket(kolache) from here for my work party.

It USED to be great. Second time going and they?re ?out? of the basics (choc, sugar and glazed) how are they out when they still have 3 hours left? Never had a problem with old management! FIX ASAP

The best donuts in all the city. My husband used to frequent this place when we lived in Garland and bring home lots of delicious fresh donuts. Miss Sun is also as sweet as can be! We moved to another state in January and we miss this place so much!

I've been curious about this place and they finally opened! The place is cute and clean and cozy and their donuts were fresh and warm, I loved it! It perfectly matches very friendly staffs here! I visited with my two small kids and it was an amazing experience. My kids are donut connurseuirs so they know a tasty donut when they have one. This place makes excellent old fashioned buttermilk donuts! As a baker, I know that they fry these donuts 25 degrees lower than the rest of their products so that the middle gets done all the way! Same with the other cake donuts. Delicious jelly filling on their long johns. ?? Great job!

Best Kolache?s and donuts! I live in the neighborhood behind this shopping center and when they first opened I would drive by since I?m not a breakfast person but, since my family kept telling me how great the Kolache?s were I had to give it a try and now I?m hooked lol.
