It's a neighborhood donut shop. We went at about 1:30 pm and they were nearly sold out. L made these comments, "Have you ever had an apple fritter that big?" "This filled donut is actually filled!" "I can't believe how good this is (that's a guess cuz she had the thing stuffed in her mouth)." There is no comarison to that chain donut shop. Here whoever makes the donuts LOVES donuts. Thank you.

I?m so glad that Reddit told me to get some king cake from here. I also bought Reese?s and strawberry cheesecake donuts. I was expecting the usual donuts that you?d get from other donut places, but these were unique and so good. I?ll drive out of my way to go back many more times!

Holy cow, these donuts are amazing. We tried several varieties, including their iconic maple bacon donuts. Heavenly. Also, the apple fritters are the best I have eaten anywhere! Great service, incredible donuts.

Absolutely wonderful all around! I can't give them high enough praise. They always have what we want and serve with a smile. We have bought several long cakes this year and will get them from here ONLY from now on. We love the doughnuts and the service is amazing.

first time customer and WOW!!! these are the best donuts i?ve ever eaten. i got a dozen of the specialty donuts and basically got one of everything to take to work for my staff. we all tore it upppp. the girl that helped me was very informative and sweet, and the man at the register was very kind! never going to krispy kreme again, sugar rush will be my go to when i?m craving a sweet treat!

We stopped here before getting back on the road for another 8 hours of travel?and what a good start to the morning it was! They had just opened and their selection of donuts was fantastic. I can't even with these donuts. They're so light and perfect. Seriously the best I've ever eaten in my life. My husband said his maple bacon one was "perfection", and he never says anything like that. If you've never been here before, you're missing out. They're insanely good. Go. Now.

This is an ok Donut store. Their donuts seem freshly made. They are sweet and soft and taste good. The prices are reasonable. I like some donut chains that have more options but the ones I have had here were ok for a nice morning treat. The staff was nice and helpful and fast.

Fresh soft yeast risen delicious donuts! Traveled to them after seeing all the great reviews.. so here?s mine! This place is no fuss and straight to the point. Lemon poppyseed, French toast, and the strawberry frosted are what I recommend trying. Anything is good here, even their frapp?! Next time I go I plan on trying the Apple fritter. Update: I went back and got the Apple fritter.. I personally would skip it. Just not my favorite texturally, incredibly too sweet for my liking.

We are visiting Mobile and decided to do a donut taste-off between another popular donut store and Sugar Rush. Hands down these were the better donuts! The creamy plain glazed donut had a buttery finish. The cinnamon sugar twist was airy and had a pleasant crunch with just enough cinnamon. The chocolate glaze they use is very good, which we had on the Reese?s and custard donuts. We brought our hotel staff cinnamon rolls and apple fritters that were sharing-sized. We out-of-towners recommend Sugar Rush!!

I love this small, freshly made doughnut shop. The only bad thing is they close at 2 pm. The strawberry cheesecake doughnut is to die for. Doughnut holes are great. Conecuh doughnut sandwich is AWESOME ( get it warmed). Oreo doughnut was delicious. I haven't had anything bad yet. 10/10 I recommend. GO TRY THEM.

I found them in google looking for some new food spots to try. I went in about 10 or 11 and the selection was varied. Cinnamon rolls, twist, maple bacon, lemon fill etc. I got a sample of most and my family loved them. The donuts are Huge AND GOOD. if you like yeast donuts this is good spot to go to. I rank them in the top 5 for best donuts in Mobile.

What a great suprise & find. Was actually at the hot dog place a few doors down & decided to step in & see what they had. Nice selection & reasonable prices. But...some of the best donuts I've had. They seem to be a cross between a raised donut & cake donut. Super fresh taste & texture. Abundant filling and toppings. A definite must try.

We went to Krispy Cream this morning and had a rough customer service experience and ultimately decided to spend our money elsewhere. So we found sugar rush donuts right down the road. They didn't rush us to pick our order and were decently friendly. This is a good donut store. There are some donut chains that have more options but the donuts here did taste fresh and good. The glazed donuts tasted and felt like they had just made them! Staff was nice and served people quickly!

The best doughnuts in town are sold here. They have lots of variety so there's something for everyone. The apple fritter is the best I have ever eaten. They also sell really good bubble tea. I couldn't say enough about how great this little spot is, but you gotta hit it early. They only make a certain amount of doughnuts, and when they are gone the place closes. Call ahead before you drive very far. The staff are also very nice.

Every donut is great. I have yet to have one that wasn't amazing. They have a great every day selection and specials depending on the season. The coffee is very good too. The staff is always incredibly friendly. This is far and away the best place for donuts in Mobile.

Sugar Rush had a very good selection of interesting donut flavors. For the style, they were very good, but I prefer a lighter, yeastier donut. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit.

Decided to check this place out while I was in town because it had good ratings. I was severely disappointed. The Strawberry Cheesecake donut SOUNDS good but tastes of artificial strawberry and overly sweetened cream cheese. The apple fritter was also disappointing. OMG! This was my first time trying their donuts! The guy was super sweet and let me taste several while choosing my dozen. These donuts are inexpensive, fresh and most importantly DELISH! The chocolate iced ones are HUGE! I can't wait to get these home to my kids. They are going to be ecstatic.

I'm going to have to give this place an F. I was really looking forward to trying a new place but when we got to the plaza it simply couldn't be found. It wasn't until we pulled off that I even noticed the place. At that point everyone had already picked another place. It doesn't cost that much money to get a banner and it'd be a shame to keep loosing customers simply because the place can't be found.

This independently owned small business lives up to their name. Many original varieties of delicious, freshly made donuts. They almost can't crank em out as fast as the people demand them. If you love donuts, you gotta check out this place! And make sure you take your "sugar" meds lol!

All the donuts looked so good you want to try them all. I had to control myself and only got one this time, I think it was the walnut maple glaze donut, can't remember cus I ate it so fast but it was delicious.

We get doughnuts once every few months and my husband usually goes to Krispy Kreme or Dunkin. This morning he decided to try something new and stop by Sugar Rush on his way home from work. I am so very glad that he did! It's a big box of fresh, melt in your mouth deliciousness.
