I was visiting from Texas for a project in the bay and stopped by. Oh my, the donuts and CHICKEN SANDWICH WAS SO GOOD!!! Get the sandwich hot. The donut sandwich with the sausage was just perfect blend of flavors. Honestly, the meat had a rich smoked flavor. I love matcha, so I got that too and it was also good! Recommended!

Everything I've had here is so delicious! Finally somewhere with fresh tapioca!!! If you're a "bubble tea" fan you HAVE to try it here. It'll change your life. The breakfast croissants and donuts are incredible too #

These are the most amazing donuts, I have friends and family asking for them all the way from Arizona to Atlanta (move over Krispy Cream) to West Virginia and even England! My family loves the coffee drinks, and they are constantly sold out of Bacon Maple, Chocolate Pecan, and Cinnamon Rolls. Lots of other yummy selections! Super friendly people....stop by when driving the coastal highway, you will not be disappointed! The only bad thing is they take Mondays off, family owned!

THE BEST DONUTS! Seriously we were 30 min away for a trip and made the drive over this morning for these donuts. Melt in your mouth blueberry jelly filled donuts. Maple donuts that taste like maple syrup! You definitely need these donuts in your life!

Such nice people! We got there pretty late in the morning (after 10am) but they still had some of the best doughnuts around. Literally the best donut holes I've ever eaten. Big, fluffy and dripping with glaze. I ordered 2 dozen and they lasted me all the way back to Arkansas.

Man! We were so impressed with the selection....and the quality.....of the donuts that we just had to ask the owner how he makes them taste so good. Then he chatted with us for a few minutes until this group of 3 boys came in and asked if they would give them a free donut. This man just handed over 3 donuts for them. So not only does he make quality donuts, but he's just an all around quality person! I always take that into consideration when choosing to return to a restaurant.

I frequently bring my husband Sugar Rush Donuts on Saturdays at the shipyard. These donuts are so much better than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin? Donuts. They are absolutely The best donuts around!!! My favorite donut shop because the donuts are exceptional and the service is fantastic!!!

My husband just made a special trip here to get me an apple fritter im so disappointed its hard as a rock i cant bring it back so i popped it in the micro for 15 secs an it taste like it was left in oil an its still hard except for a small piece in the middle?? ive had them before an they were to die for not sure what happened but they shouldve thrown the whole tray away!

We love this place! The donuts are amazing and they have almost any flavor you could ask for. Coffee is on point. I would definitely choose Sugar Rush over Starbucks any day. And the ladies who run the place are incredibly talented, friendly and beautiful! Love them.

Small town doughnut shop with made fresh items. Cost fair for post covid pricing. Owner always on the front counter and always happy to see you. Try the cream or fruit filled doughnuts. They don't skimp on the filling. You almost sprain your wrist picking them up because they have so much filling. Fresh made coffees also. Dine in options just a few small tables. Gets busy right before school starts since it's located between 3 local schools.

I was very surprised with all the different things they had to offer. Doughnuts, hand scooped Ice cream , and coffee drinks just to name a few.

The BEST donuts that you will ever eat in your life! They are huge!! I am always greeted with a smile. They offer a wide range of specialty coffee drinks as well as donuts. My neice used them for a donut bar for her wedding and it looked amazing. There is indoor seating available to savor a drink and your donut.

1st time here, bought donuts for the office, they were good. The maple bacon donuts were a hit. Wish they had a little more options for breakfast, maybe breakfast sandwiches or wraps.. but not a deal breaker. Will be back.

When spontaneity pays off BIG! Taking a Sunday morning drive through Bayou La Batre & thought we'd try the Sugar Rush Donut Co. They have an apple fritter that is soooo big and amazingly delicious! It's down right huge with delicious, big pieces apples in it! Wow! In addition, we had great service with a smile. Well played...well played Donut people.

Never a bad day at Sugar rush. If you don't walk out of this place with a smile on your face, nothing in the world can help you. The folks here warmly greet you as if you are a personal friend. There's such a large variety I almost never know what to pick. I used to be a strict Krispy Kreme customer, but with only one in town and the customer service skills strongly lacking, I'd rather throw my money to these awesome folks.

We LOVE Sugar Rush! You really can't go wrong with any of the doughnut choices. These are not the boring doughnuts like the national chains sell and a must-have if in the area! The huge apple fritter is enough for two... maybe 3 people! If there during lunch, try their amazing chicken salad croissant!

We tried this donut shop this morning on our way home from Dauphin Island it is was THE BEST DONUTS we've had!! They are delicious, large, gourmet donuts!! My family and I give it 5 stars and highly recommend it!

I am never disappointed each time I stop in at Sugar Rush. Amazing food, coffees, and teas. The owners and other staff are always so helpful and so very nice. I never wait long at all. My entire family loves Sugar Rush. It is by far a pleasant experience each time we visit.

Absolutely love Sugar Rush. Lighthouse Baptist Church bus 4 stops every Sunday morning. Coffee and donuts are amazing. Our bus kids really enjoy it. The lady's there are so sweet,kind and patient with our kids. Thank you

Great little place in Bayou LaBatre! Had 6 donuts and they tasted great. Very friendly staff that gave great service. the lunch menu spans from sandwiches to Egg Rolls! We will definately stop by again the next time we are in the are. The donuts we freshly made and tasted great. Well done!

This place was great! Very friendly staff. I got there just in time to get the last apple fritter. It was still warm and absolutely amazing. Well worth the splurge on my diet! It was a great way to end my Dauphin Island vacation.

I read the reviews so decided to stop by on my way home from Dauphin Island and let me tell you that I'm so thankful that I did. We got a dozen of the variety and it was some of it not the best donuts that I've ever had. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. Would def make a return trip for more. A must visit if in the area

This is a great doughnut shop. They make the best apple fritters around but get there early because they often run out by 3pm. Remember the Bayou La Batre location is closed on Mondays. I a have been tole that their sandwiches are great and will be going soon to try them.

A dangerous place to go when you're hungry! We have tried a large assortment of doughnuts and they tasted great. Chocolate, chocolate coconut, and the maple bacon are delicious!

The name says it all. Sugar Rush everything and then some. Not only do they have like some of the best doughnuts around comma but their presentation and product are spot-on. . And eating the donuts the only thing I can say is it like on orgasm in your mouth of sugary perfection and love the fact that they have Kick Ass Coffee. First time coming by here to try out a local place to get my coffee the staff was amazing really made the place. Would?ve gave them 5 stars if there prices were more reasonable 5-6$ for a small coffee could?ve got a venti at Starbucks for the same price.

Always a wonderful experience. The prices may not be that low, but you get a lot for your money. I would gladly bypass those other chains to come here when I have a sweet tooth.

Sugar Rush Donuts in Bayou La Batre, AL, serves great donuts, but the owner's rudeness slightly dampens the experience unfortunately.

I really wanted to give a 5 star. The donuts were great. But there were 7 options. At 8am. On a Saturday. And the building is not the nicest.
