Customer Reviews

This is a small little eatery that on one side offers tasty Chinese fast foods. On the other side there is a donut nook that offers a goodly selection of donuts. It is affordable as well.A good little place to sit and enjoy lunch and then some donuts and coffee all in the same place!

In service this place get 10 stars. The ladies here are super friendly and accommodating. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I go here when in LA for the nostalgia.

The Chinese food looked good but it was not and also cold I was there around 11 am as the food just cameout, they should stick to donuts

This Chinese food restaurant has been my go-to place for years, consistently delivering delicious meals and great service that never disappoint. The flavors and quality of the food keep me coming back, making it a reliable choice for satisfying cravings. However, I?ve noticed that they haven?t introduced any new menu items in over a decade, which could be an area for improvement. Despite this, it remains a fantastic dining option. I also remember a video store nearby that used to complement my visits, creat

This place is so good I just went last week and this week best thing I keep getting is BBQ chicken on a stick so bomb everything good worth it

Man this place is a hidden gem I love their chinese food. If you come here you wont regret it. All of their items are great but If you get the chance try they're fried fish fillet its sooooo bomb. You also must get their house made hot sauce idk why but it pairs so well with their food. To top it all of you can feed 2 people off one plate their portions are great.

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. I remember when the food was so addicting, the line was out the door! However, that was then. I know that the food has been declining more and more. I hadn't been here in almost a year. I went today at 1pm, I didn't finish my food, and by 6pm, my rice went bad and smelled rotten. Absolutely the last time I go. What a shame.

I've been coming here for atleast 15 years this place brings back good memories. But I've had bad experiences recently. I literally live walking distance away and when I got home my food was cold. There's no way the food got cold after a 3 min walk. Very upset about that I went on a day off I had and there was no line and the place was empty I guess they were trying to conserve their heat? It upset me since the plate was about 8$ the donuts are good and the ice cream is ok nothing special. If you want guar

This has been my Chinese Food place for years, they will never let you down. The only concern I have with this place is that they have added any new items in almost 10+ years. Other than that it's a great place to eat.

I love this place ! My husband and his fam have been coming here since they were small. And he introduced me to this amazing place. (I'm not a big fan of Chinese food) but OMG so worth it!! We moved from South LA to Culver City, and we still come here to eat on some days.

This place beats Panda Express hands down. Been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. The portions are worth the price. My favorites are the orange chicken, fried fish filet and white rice with any of the sauces from either the curry chicken or black bean pork. On a cold day I really enjoy the wonton soup.

Don't really know about the doughnuts, my kids eat those but there is some good Chinese food there. They have some of the best chowmein. The fried chicken is also good. The service is good the language barrier doesn't become a problem since most that work there Asian. The liquor next to it is the only down side.

I went there on April 5, 2021 and the food was marvelous. I recommend everyone to try it out. I brought two combos and they gave me a lot of food. There are also ice cream and doughnuts. My favorite was their black pepper chicken.

Man I've been going here ever since I was young, they stack the plates and give you more for your buck. Sometimes I get it twice a day, shout-out to my boy Eddie.

I moved to Vernon 2002 this was the only chinese food I would eat. I moved away like 6 yrs ago and I have had a lot of want to be chinese food but never taste as good as Sugar Dounut. I recently went back and the same ladies work there super nice and the food was still Amazing just like I remember ?? if ur ever by Sugar Dounut please stop in for the best food in town hands down.

Been going here for years, great chinese food. Had a few bad experiences but mostly good. Years later it's still top notch.

Its a small donut and chinese food shop but overall its good for when you need to grab a quick bite in the morning or lunch, i really like the chow mein and white rice, i reccomend asking for white rice because its healthier, its steamed and not fried. They also have a few ice cream flavors if your feeling in the mood for icecream ?? sometimes it gets crowded but the employees take peoples orders quickly.

I eat here every now and then but for the first time I got me some chow mein in a long time and I found a booger in it. It totally ruined my appetite be careful when they're serving your food.

Great food. Good customer service

Extremely disappointed. I went in today around 9:00am and the old lady at the register was extremely rude and didn?t want to make me another sandwich when I told her the one that she was giving me was squished and burned. She gave me a really bad attitude to the point where I completely lost my appetite and decided to leave. She also started cursing at the cash register with another client and it?s not very ethical especially when you?re working on the clock.

rude workers, greasy food, and prices up the board aren't even up to date. I loved this place as a kid guess it isn't the same .

Im a regular customer to this chinese food place and its always good but recently the last two times i went the chow mein taste like it was from the day before. I got sick for two days

Loved their food...very tasty...

Their food is e excellent. I eat there often. Prices are good.

I'm having fried chicken and all the fixings! ???? #Foodie #ComfortFood

They have to have new cooks the food went down hill after more than 10 years going there. Orange chicken was chicken scraps uneatable thin burnt rock hard pieces no more

My favorite place for chineese food?? also have donuts and ice cream, i go here for the food and the mocha frappe.. only problems is the parking they do get alot of costumers..

I only go here for the Chinese food.. it's good and fresh

Firs time for me to have the shrimp soup..good. prices affordable and variety of Chinese plates..

Lady behind the counter was very rude and racist. I had to wait for a lady out of the back to come help me because the other refused to wait on my daughter and I.

The only place i go for Chinese food. Orange Chicken is always ordered on the side from my two item fill up. They stuf the take-away til it can barely close.

Place has been going down in quality in recent months. Price is expensive now, same as a standard order of panda express.

Sugar doughnuts have some of the best doughnuts in the morning, and great Chinese food in the afternoon.
