Plenty of art displayed & for sale including paintings, cups, etc. Large menu with Star Wars themed drinks, as well as really delicious sandwiches. Spent the night in Lake Charles and was looking for a good coffee spot next morning. Mission accomplished. I absolutely loved this place, combining my favorite genre of space themed movies and TV shows (Trekkie and Star Wars fan), and good coffee, food and atmosphere. We kept it pretty basic with our order, but it was executed perfectly and the vibe here is so cute. Wish I had more time in this town, from the bit we saw- it?s adorable. This coffee break pit stop on our road trip knocked it out of the park though. 10/10

Delightful, space-themed cafe that my wife and I were lucky enough to find in Lake Charles, LA, when visiting family. Such a friendly owner, plus a delicious turkey sandwich with pesto mayo and melted cheese. If you're in Lake Charles and are on a mission searching for a cool cafe with great food and a great atmosphere, your mission is now complete.

While visiting Lake Charles I stopped by this little coffee shop and had an amazing time! I got a cold brew customized to my liking and they perfected it! I did a build our own sandwich as well and it did not disappoint. I recommend visiting during Mardi Gras season and trying their king cake as well! Overall a great place with a wonderful staff!

The coffee is ok if you like to drink 700 calories and you aren?t worried about your shape. It?s overpriced and ridiculously cold inside, almost like they want customers to leave asap. The whole place is poorly maintained, it?s dark and dingy. I?m concerned about the positive/dishonest reviews.

Wonderful and kind staff. Food is exceptional this sandwich was flavorful, buttery, and you can tell they make their food with pride. Everything f was layered even and neat. The atmosphere was chill and calm, nice to study or have a quiet breakfast. The prices were very fair Highly recommend

The HIDDEN GEM of South West Louisiana! This place has the BEST Beignets around. I've had lots of beignets including those from Cafe Du Monde and the ones Stellar Beans makes blows them away by far! I also had The Titan Sandwich for brunch and all I can say is DELICIOUS!! My wife had the Jalape?o Chicken Salad Sandwich and she said it was fabulous! If you find yourself in Lake Charles, LA be sure to treat yourself to this place!

Came here because it seemed like an interesting local coffee shop. Got the Stellar Nitreaux, a drip coffee, and beignets. Both coffee and beignets were very good. Nice that you don't have to go to New Orleans to get good beignets! Atmosphere has a fun sci-fi motif. Staffers were welcoming and friendly. There was free street parking available in front of the shop. Fine place to stop for morning coffee.

Ordered at the kiosk and waited like 15min before I finally went up to ask what was going on (I only ordered a couple beignets). When I got up to the counter they tried blaming me and argued that they brought it out and called my name already but I didn?t grab it. That?s simply not true. Me and four other people were sitting directly next to the pick up counter, no one ever heard my name called.

There is exactly one spot to get a decent matcha in lake charles, louisiana, and it?s stellar beans. And by decent, I mean one of the best matcha lattes I?ve had. The southern chicken salad sandwich is delightful, and so is the customizable breakfast sandwich. The location is unpretentious, full of art and space to enjoy your breakfast. Stellar Beans is an absolute must when I am in town.

We stopped in for a coffee before setting off on the Creole Nature Trail. The King Cake latte (I think it was called) was delicious sweetness and adorably decorated with sprinkles. The strawberry and cream frappe was a delicious sweet treat, also.

Today was my first time going here. I was in love with the place. They have a pretty great menu, excellent coffee, and the staff was wonderful. There is art all over the place ?????? from people within our community and I think that's what got me the most about the place...its got a really feel there...the Zodiac sign tables are EVERYTHING... You can sit indoors or outdoors...I mean I have zero complaints...you should check the place out

Down to Lake Charles for Mardi Gras and to visit with my daughter and son in law. What a hidden gem for us to discover. Coffee was awesome, to be expected, and the beignets were out of this world.

We visited on 08/14 for morning coffee and beignets after a night at the Casino. Wonderful coffee, fresh beignets and the atmosphere was awesome. Great family owned spot! Bonus points for being dog friendly.

Quick cup of coffee at this kickin little spot downtown. 7am and they had some blues rippin on the stereo, friendly staff and lots of regulars. I'm new to town and this will definitely be a regular spot to get my day going.

Free parking on the street, and parking lot on the east side / to the rear. Atmosphere was very welcoming. The lady working the counter was friendly. I had a regular cold brew and it was tasty. I didn't try the food, but it sounded good. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the best place to visit. Otherwise, a nice cafe.

Hello from Texas! Dropped in on a drive thru Louisiana and hope to visit again soon. Best food menu I've ever seen at a coffee shop. My drink was fantastic too. Loved the vibe,staff was sweet and helpful. Get the Intercristo! I've had them at Katz and this one blows theirs out of the water.

OK I'm not a "coffee person" but when i got there I told them what flavors I like and dislike and that I needed it sweet! I was NOT disappointed at all! Spot on with my coffee. The 3 people won't me were all as happy as I was! A must try! (Parking was a little tricky)

Had their king cake/Mardi Gras special and it was so good! It wasn't crazy sweet which I definitely appreciated. Upon lifting the lid, I saw they decorated the top with festive colored sugar which added a nice finishing touch. The latte was also made to a drinkable temperature right away which I haven't encountered prior so I was definitely happy about being able to sip my coffee without waiting for it to cool down.

I was passing through Lake charles from Beaumont and I needed a quick caffeine rain. So I looked for the "best coffee house" in lake charles and stellar did not disappoint. Its located in downtown LC. My barista was Caitlyn and she was full of life. She recommend the snickerdoodle (?) For my latte. It was great. Had also the chocolate muffin which complemented the whole coffee experience. Atmosphere is very inviting. Service was fast. Caitlyn is very knowledgeable. Come visit Stellar.

We stopped to try some beignets for the 1st time and they were really good here. The menu says they are freshly made everyday and they sure tasted like it. We also got some iced Thai tea which was also delicious. The service was pretty good and friendly.

This place is absolutely amazing. Artistic atmosphere, cozy and perfect for getting away to visit with friends or study. Ashley is a beautifully fierce barista that nails your order every time and makes you feel welcome. Food crafted by Tristan? Is fit for the Gods. Highly recommended. They make really good coffee drinks! My son and I have been a few times so far and their beignets are very light and fluffy. I only give 4 ?? they need more help, especially during peak times, as well as more drink options.

This is a great place to get coffee and hang out. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. They have great coffee, snacks and even cooked food! It is resonably priced and within walking distance of everything. They are also pet friendly which I love!!!!

We were in Lake Charles for work. We went for dine in breakfast 3 of the 5 days we were there. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were delicious, the staff were great. I'm just not a fan of having dogs near me when I'm eating.

I ordered a medium Cookie and Cream frappe and price was $6.95 which I was okay with it. But then there was extra charge of $1.65 (I can?t remember the exact because I asked to take it off) for ?Stellar sweet cream? on top of the base price. I didn?t ask for any extra so I asked what it?s for and she said it?s the base of the drink. I said shouldn?t the base of the drink be included in the price instead of putting that extra charge on customers. She said she could change it to whole milk but the drink won?t

Quaint little place we found on our way driving through town. There was a live musician on a Sunday morning and he was really good. The coffee was excellent. Much better than Starbucks. Robust and full flavored. The breakfast options were pretty good too. Not mind blowing, but they did the job of complimenting the coffee properly. One of the waitresses was short with us a couple of times, but it seemed like she was stressed and having a bad day, so didn't want to dock the star review. All in all, cool place

Good coffee but today was just ridiculous. It's took us 45 minutes to get two drinks (one hot coffee and one ice coffee, because blender was broken). Apparently the regulars get served first. So many people walked in and walked out before us. Disappointed with today.

I am all about small, family owned businesses. This one gets it right every time. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the coffee is on point. I love that they're dog-friendly. I would also note that they seem to be very willing to give back to the community. I didn't ask about it, but they seem to have some kind of program that involves picking up trash as payment for services. So kind.

Ahhh, so much atmosphere!!! Great flavored coffees (and I'm not a big coffee drinker)! We had yummy beignets, a "stack" of eggs, spinach, cheese and bacon (no bread) and a Brie-L-T on a brioche bread...divine. What a treat to find a coffee shop with authentic Italian style espresso drinks! They still had all the foo-foo sweetened drinks on the menu, but I loved the focus on the espresso drink I had. Thank you, Stellar Beans!

We loved our first visit here! We weren?t feeling coffee, so we got some Italian sodas with cream to go with our English muffins with eggs, bacon, and cheese. Sandwiches were scrumptious and the sodas were yummy. We also had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese that was very good. The girls at this coffee shop are the best; very friendly and helpful. This shop is vegan friendly and their coffee is really good. They have a lot of tables and it is very comfortable; one of those places you will go to seat down for a while, maybe to do some homework or just to seat down and relax. This is a great little coffee shop downtown, and we really appreciate that they offer gluten-free bread as an upgrade option for their breakfast sandwiches. The coffee is good, service is quick, and dog-friendly for small well-behaved dogs in the front part of the cafe.

This is one of our favorite places to meet with other folks in our film-making community. We held our monthly meetings there and I always enjoyed the coffee. I have only eaten a few dished there, but each has been good. There is a great collection of games to play. There are sometimes DVD's or CD's to trade. I even saw a family doing their Christmas presents one day. Good location downtown and cool vibe. Oh, and local art on the walls for you to enjoy and even purchase if you really like it.
