Stopped in for coffee and a donut. Had the egg bacon and cheese croissant and the cinnamon crumb donut. They were both very good. Was the last crumb donut at 8am so it must be popular. The drip coffee was not good to me and they do not have milk or cream to add. Prices were great and it is a super old tiny donut shop. Worth the stop. The lady behind the counter was super kind.
I think I've found my new favorite donut shop, too bad I live over 2 hours away. I was headed out to the river for the weekend and we decided we wanted to grab some donuts on our way and Barstow was the last full size town before we made it to our destination, so we typed up donuts in our navigation and just chose the most convenient location. Great place to grab freshly made donuts. These privately owned shops are much better than the big box stores like Dunkin or Starbucks.
It's just not my cup of tea. I can see why people like it and I still encourage people to give it a try. I don't think I will be going back, the needle outside the building solidified that for me. The food was inexpensive so even if you don't like it you're not losing out on much. Their sign says they're open 24 7 but their new hours are from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Less than $7.00 for two great Boston filled doughnuts and a cup of coffee. Great tasting doughnut holes too! Coffee was hot. Too bad they are cheap and won't give you a coffee refill or even a glass of water. Bathroom is out of order. You think at almost $20 a dozen for doughnuts, they could give you a glass of water, or a coffee refill or FIX THE RESTROOM. NEXT TIME I'M IN BARSTOW, I WILL GO ELSEWHERE FOR DOUGHNUTS
Typical Chinese donut shop. Not cheap but decent quality donuts. Usually very fresh. Not too much selection though, they could lower their prices.

Pretty disappointing, vastly overpriced, I paid $12.98 for 6 normal average donuts, 2 twist, 2 long johns and 2 bavarian creme. The staff was nice, but I'm sorry, for that price I'll never go back. The donuts were good, average at best and no better than anywhere else. Definitely NOT worth $12.98 for 6 donuts. I couldve had a real breakfast for that price!
I had the glazed coconut donut and it was amazing. Super soft and fluffy when I bite into it. Not dry, and pretty nice sizes.
Look here's the deal if you like donuts then you should go to this place point blank. That is it that is all all I can tell you is that the food is great the service is great atmosphere it is what it is for donut shop but the thing that will keep you coming back is the freaking donuts you better believe that

I stopped in here while on my way to Vegas, and the donuts are delicious! So fresh, and the woman working the counter was very friendly. It's definitely worth the detour if you want some good ol' mom and pop donuts.

Donuts were good for getting them at 5 pm. $9 for 4 donuts, a glazed raised, a maple bar, a chocolate cake, and a glazed buttermilk. No special ones and the cheapest one was 1.85 for the glazed raised. I dont think ill be back there, a couple more dollars and I could have a whole pie or cake.

They have the best donuts in town, great business hours, all donuts are made fresh in store every day, prices are phenomenally reasonable, amazing customer service, establishment is clean and sanitary. All around gave them 5 stars.
The Asian woman that was there was so pleasant! This is our second time at starlight donuts and we love this little hole in the wall! The donuts are so fresh, the coffee is fresh! We look forward to our next visit!

These donuts are the BEST in Barstow. I make the drive in from Fort Irwin. Place looks sketch as hell but I?ll be damned if these aren?t the best. The young man behind the counter is always super cool. The bullet proof glass is probably there to protect the recipes. If Apple Fritters tickle your fancy- this the THE place to get one!
Hey Wow! The sign outside "Starlight Donuts" has five stars on it , just like the star rating ! The stars on the sign are different colors , not all yellow...like the rating stars...Starlight Donuts Seriously Decimates Some Determinations of Serving Delicious Sweet ...
I love this place it's not very big and the selection is not that great but the donuts are very good and oh my God they're coffee is off the hook delicious
Decent donuts bit I wouldn't make a drive out of my way. I was thrown off by the reviews but was hoping it was as good. But the building was 100 degrees inside and I honestly wasn't impressed.
Ms. Ruth and her help are always kind and considerate of her customers. It's nice that she still remembers my name after a year or so away. The donuts are good too!

My fiance and I recently stopped by this awesome donut shop at about 2am on our way back to Ventura from Las Vegas. I had an old fashion and my fiance had a glazed. They were the most delicious donuts I have ever had in my entire life!!!
The sign says 24 hours but they only have what's left of the stale donuts from the morning. I've gone twice for dessert after dinner and they've had less than 5 donuts each time, so it' s no fluke. They only take cash!

Was in town for a job and wanted donuts for me and some co workers so I got a dozen. Subpar donuts that the guys didn?t even finish. 0 and 2 for shops in this town. Heard great things about another shop so I might give that a try next time around.
Most fabulous fresh donuts on the weatern side of New England. Worth the 2 minute drive off rt 15 and it is on historic Route 66.

I went on a Saturday evening. They only had l kind of donut. He said they were all sold in the morning and that was all they had left. The next time I went, the apple fritter was not completely done on the inside. He only had two types of donuts at this time.
