I finally got to try this shop on Sunday! They're only open weekends, and on two previous attempts, they were unexpectedly closed. My persistence paid off, and I was rewarded with some delicious fried dough! I'm a huge apple fritter guy, and I thought these ranked right up there with the best I've had in the area. Nice crispy edges, rivers of cinnamon, and chunks of apple. Outstanding! The cinnamon roll was dynamite as well. Thick, fluffy, lots of cinnamon. The old fashioned was also as good as any around
Best donut shop in the city, and it's been here for years. I love their donuts made fresh every day, and you can even order ahead of time. My favorites are the glazed, chocolate mount holes, old-fashioned, and of course vanilla custard filled. There is always a line early mornings, but they stay open later than most do it shops. We need to support your locally-owned businesses so they stay in our communities. I'm not sure who on the food network called it the best donut shop they've been at, but research it
Best doughnut shop in STL! I dream about these doughnuts, especially their French doughnuts. I?ll drive past 3 other doughnut shops just to get them from here. It?s cash only (atm nearby) and only open on weekends.
This place has one of the largest selections of donuts out of all the shops in St. Louis. They have all of the basics, as well as some creative variations of them. I haven't been blown away by any single donut here, but overall they seem to be consistently good. The old fashioned/cake donuts have a very good texture with a nice outer crunch and moist interior. I'd also highly recommend their apple fritters. Odds are, whatever you choose will be a good choice!
This is the best kept donut secret in St. Louis. Bring cash, and don't disappoint yourself by only getting 6. Get a dozen.
Definitely the BEST donuts in St. Louis! My family and I went on a donut-tasting expedition and got a glazed donut (and a couple more) from all the recommended places people said were the best. St. Louis Hills Donuts topped the charts! Their donuts are moist, sweet, and absolutely scrumptious! Probably the most underrated donut place in St. Louis, but definitely the best! (If only they were open more, haha!)
Donuts were delicious (they remind me of the donuts I used to get growing up). Staff was friendly and the prices are great. I couldn?t be happier having this place in my neighborhood! Add: their cinnamon twists and apple fritters are insanely good!
This place has literally the best donuts in town. I recommend the old fashioned as the outside is crisp and sweet and the inside is moist and cake-like. Their donuts are substantial not overly airy making you feel hungry when you are done. Their coffee is delicious! The family who runs it is awesome, good neighbors to all. But the donuts speak for themselves, and they are perfection!
I drive here early in the morning while the rest of my family is still asleep so they can wake up to the best donuts in the city. I also do it because if we get there too late, the shop will be sold out for the day! These are some of the best donuts I have ever had. It is like the angels themselves are feeding me breakfast.

The best donuts in the whole city probably the state. Family owned and the service is the best as always with a smile. My grandson and I make it a special destination spot on our calender. Ask the gentleman at Schicker service department Fast lane I treated them to these amazing donuts and they are sold.
Holy crap are these are great. Tiny and worn (but clean!) little shop with pleasant staff. Delicious doughnuts, especially these like... Cream cheese icing filled ones? I don't exactly know how to describe them, but awesome!! Also they have delicious crullers. I bought some today, and didn't anticipate how delicious they would be, and was considering going back tomorrow, but they are closed on Mondays (and Tuesdays) ??. We'll be back for sure!

All time favorite been going there since the'70s still go there on Fridays to this day when I go to cash my check at the bank across the street famous for them fritters the maple fritters got to get them I just had them for the first time couple months ago I could not believe I waited all this time you must try the old Fashions too they're pretty amazing everything is amazing there go get it go check it out you'll love it be there once you'll be there forever
My work hours changed and I haven't been in for my favorite donuts in a long time but I can't wait to get a chance to get there again for a white icing French Cruller and a Cinnamon Roll but all their donuts are Great!
To this day, I've never found a better donut in all the cities I've traveled and lived in the US. Best vanilla long john you'll find and if you can get a specialty donut, you won't be disappointed.

This place is the best! I used to go to quick trip for my coffee and donut but they have been failing me recently so I looked up donuts near me and this place knocked it out of the park! I will always chose St Louis Hills donut shop from now on !
