Customer Reviews

Have a decent variety of donuts and drinks. They have a limited breakfast menu, but they are a donut shop, so thats not a bad thing. Service good. Atmosphere is average but donuts taste good.

This is not Southern Maid Donuts! The donuts tasted like they came from a grocery bakery?s clearance rack a few days prior? DISGUSTING! The lady was very nice though.

I have been here a few times. I am greeted each time by (what I guess) is an Asian lady or her son so it is probably a family run business. They are each friendly and each time I get a couple of the filled donuts and kolaches and they are good. Each time I am taken care of right away with no issues.

If you like old dry donuts then this of the place for you, they use bacon bits in their tacos not the best I feel like my money was stolen here then it?s a minimum of five bucks I had to buy a donut to complete the transaction and I saw the guy warming up the donut holes in the microwave! Red flag number one I will never return here the food is not good at all I only ate the taco which wasn?t good so one star

I received a ham and cheese croissant that had hard overcooked chopped up ham stuffed inside it , the old fashioned donuts were old.

I picked up some glazed donuts this morning and they weren?t very good. It tasted like it might of been made the day before. The guy that helped me was very nice but the donuts were not fresh.

Nice place and all, but maybe I'm too picky. The doughnuts and kolaches seem to taste a day old or so.

This is by far my favorite donut shop. The owner is always extremely kind and friendly and the variety of kolaches, tacos, croissants, and breakfast sandwiches is amazing. You will not be disappointed for breakfast!

Great kolaches and she is always smiling. They are always happy and excited to see their customers even if you are a customer nobody wants in their business. Or so they make you believe. Excellent customer service and kolaches.

Stopped in the morning as pregnant self was craving a kolache and I must say they are amazing. Prices arent expensive either. Would recommend and will be back

Basic place, but they do it well. The croissant kolaches are really good too. And they have double chocolate Nesquik. Mon-Sat 5a-12p, closed Sun.

Closed on Sundays, but open 5a to noon, other 6 days. Large variety, supreme sausage available (Chappel Hill) just check it out.

Great Boudin kolaches! The dough has an amazing texture and the boudin stuffing is yummy!

If I could leave one star I would Where's location ever they have a $5 minimum on card which is illegal to charge people that and make you spend money that you might not have I do not carry cash on me all the time worst experience ever never coming back again why do businesses like this even exist

Great location. Nice people great drink selection .kolaches and they have Otis Spunkmeyer muffins

Awesome sausage, jalape?o, and cheese kolaches they were actually spicy???? first visit was a very good one!

Good kolaches. Nice little neighborhood donut shop

The boudain kolache and the croissant kolaches are must haves.

Good sausage and cheese kolaches.

You have to stop here if you're in the area!

Delicious and great prices!

Good doughnuts, good coffee

Greasy as hell, old tasting dough

Girlfriend loved the donuts!!

Fresh, just like I like it

This is a review of their plain, glazed doughnut. Coworkers and I did a taste test between this location and from a commonly known chain restaurant located on 290. Southern Donuts was the clear winner. Lighter and airier. The exterior has a bit of a crackle as you bite but then the whole thing just melts in your mouth. We will be back to try other things.
