Sons Donuts is hands down the best donut shop I?ve ever been to! This was my second visit, and both experiences were absolutely amazing. The first time, I was attended by the son, and today, I believe it was the father?both were equally kind, welcoming, and offered incredible customer service. Their donuts are out of this world, perfectly fresh, and bursting with flavor. I can?t recommend this place enough!

They are small but they are very good to me and a lot of people. Every time I go in there, no one is there, but they come in after me. Order more donuts than I do. They make them right in front of you. So every time they will be hot.

We liked the donuts.. they were hot and fresh! we had the bourbon pecan glaze and pumpkin glaze.. more like a dessert.. I still like a regular old good basic donut.. also, I had a chocolate latte.. they have good coffee.. I'd drink theirs over the Starbucks next door..

I'm so grateful for the hospitality I was shown on this visit! I ordered a 4-count of the Powered with Raspberry Jam & they were delightful. I find myself going here again and again for a sweet treat. The donuts are cooked fresh and never disappoint. They have great variety, and a ton of seasonal flavors. I will go back again and again, but the chocolate is my standard order.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Sons is the most welcoming place with THE MOST DELICIOUS donuts (and pops and coffee!) I?ve started buying their bags of coffee religiously. The donuts are heavenly warm clouds of flavor!

These are not real donuts but mini ones that are made in an automated machine. You get 4 for $5 which is like paying $5 for one regular sized donut. Also the glazes are not freshly made but squeezed out of a bottle. I wouldn't return. Sons Donuts is amazing! They make your donut right in front of you! They have amazing flavor options including classics, seasonal and signature (fancy stuff). The donuts melt in your mouth and come with delicious dipping sauce. Super fun place to go and the pricing is reasonable! I will be visiting them again.

What a nice locally owned mini donut shop! I tried the Boston cr?me and the strawberry with Sons sauce donuts. They were both so good but Boston cr?me was my fav for sure! There were a few other flavors that caught my eye so I will definitely be coming back to try some more flavors soon. While the price is a bit higher than chain donut shops, Sons is a locally owned business and makes the donuts fresh to order.

I love that this place makes mini donuts fresh! This place is definitely a must try. It?s a good spot to sit to work too. There are coffee options as well. Parking can be annoying in that part of town so just plan on maybe circling a few times before you find it!

We happen to be walking by after lunch and couldn?t resist trying freshly made donuts. It was delicious. Hot mini donuts with your choice of toppings. Of the glazes, we loved the maple glaze but our favorite was the banana cream over cinnamon sugar. We will definitely return.

The donuts are freshly made and indeed fresh, but they?re overpriced compared to other brands and honestly, there?s nothing special about them.

What a unique donut restaurant! Warm, flavored mini donuts with 'icings' like malted fudge, vanilla diplomat, cream cheese, or raspberry jam for dipping. My wife and I got two orders (8 donuts total: cinnamon-cardamom and PB-cocoa) but should have gotten the dozen. Delicious!

They serve mini donuts with dipping sauces. The donuts come in 4, 8, 12, or 24 orders with options for flavoring. They are made to order and hot when served. The donuts themselves are pretty good but what makes this place is the atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating and good music. This place is definitely going to turn into an Avondale staple!

Jim brings his food truck to where I work once a week and I always get coffee because not only is he a great person, but the quality of their food and coffee exceeds my expectations every time. The donuts are small, delicious, and fresh and the service is great! The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the cost to ratio of what you're getting. I suppose if you came in and bought a bunch of flavors, it'd be more worth your while, but for an individual looking for a donut snack, it's pricey for sure.

Utterly delicious. We had banana cream, cinnamon and strawberry with Son glaze. I'd of licked the plate if no one was looking. And, the service was amazing. Owen was so polite and attentive.

Delicious, light cake donuts made to order. This means they are as good as they're meant to be when you get them. And they're very good. The sauces we had were tasty and creative. Best of all, the two young employees were polite, friendly, and seemed to enjoy doing the job. Highly recommend.

From the place that brought you Steel City Pops, husband and wife and sons, bring you donuts that are bite sized and coffee and popsicles along with a very nice staff, the location is very convenient for people in the area to walk to, and the turnaround time for a table is fairly quick, it's nearly unbeatable, the price on the food is cheaper for the part of town you'll find yourself in, grab a coffee and a donut to go before you walk around Lane Park

I had been told by multiple people that I needed to try Sons Donuts, and now I know why. Not only were the donuts delicious and kid approved, but the family friendly atmosphere and accommodating staff were perfect for a mommy-and-me date with my son! He loved getting to watch the donuts made right in front of him, and the mini size was perfect for trying multiple flavors!!

At first I was disappointed that I had to buy 8 donuts to be able to try more than one flavor, but in talking to the owner I got happily swept up in the enthusiasm and went for it. Felt a little pricey at first, but the experience and taste were worth it. Here's the deal: you've got Krispy Kreme when it's about quantity over quality. First, I personally saw a worker drop a cleaning towel this morning, pick it up off the floor and use it again in the food prep area. That alone turns me off. In addition to that, don't expect a broad variety. The donuts are MINI, but they are cooked right there in front of you on a little conveyer. That made-to-order freshness is about the only really good thing because the coffee isn't great, and the prices are high. I don't think I'll visit again.

We waited for doughnuts for 15 minutes. We never received them. They were not busy. Eventually, I requested a refund as my young daughter was crying because she did not receive her donuts. A clueless employee said the donuts were being made. Another employee came out and I asked him about the donuts. He told me he had made them and someone else must have already taken them. I was told I was refunded for the donuts. No offer for donuts was made at that point. We left with a crying little girl.

The young guys who made our doughnuts were very nice! The doughnuts are cake-like, not yeasty but really delicious! The deep fry them fresh, roll them in a sugar or powder, and serve them with a sauce.

Very different donut. But, they have some things that need to work on for sure. So, today we purchased a box of half a dozen of each variety. But, when we got it home, we were unaware of which dip goes with each donut. There needs to be some labeling on the little cups they give you with the icing or dip.

Completely different donut experience to what I was expecting/what already exists. Like the concept of the mini donuts. Coffee was ok, wish some of the "flavor shots" for milk could be incorporated into coffee to add flavors there.
