Great all vegan donuts and sandwiches in Mesa! We tried 6 different donuts and they were all solid. The apple fritter is massive, the blueberry lemon was fantastic, the filled used real raspberry jam, and everything else lived up to the hype. The base donut is soft and yeast like (not cake) but not perfectly soft as I believe it's a bit of a sourdoughish consistency. We came here late on a Sunday and found all the donuts had already been sold out (a good sign!) but the apple fritter we managed to grab was delicious. So, we went back first thing on a Wednesday to ensure we got the pick of the donuts - we were definitely not disappointed! Wow!!! Super tasty, large size and some unique ideas - soooo good! This place is so cute! The bestie and I got here at around 9 am on a Sunday morning and they still had a good selection. There weren't any s'mores or cookie dough flavors but all of the flavors we got were really tasty! My favorite out of the ones we got was the earl grey one; it tasted just like a bowl of fruit pebbles :) The price tag was a lil hefty but it's a hip vegan place so that's to be expected. I actually don?t like sweets and am never tempted by treats in the breakroom, but I come every weekend to for a donut from here. Get the lavender lemon donut. You?ll thank me. It is fun taking people who don?t eat strictly vegan or who are skeptical about veganism because it?s an example that vegan food can be so much better than other options out there. First time for everything. This is a review from a vegan and non-vegan. Apple fritter, salted caramel twist, cold Brew coffee, sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Apple fritter is very oily as it was fried. Salted caramel was very salty, too much salt. Typical sandwich, dry. The chipotle mayo, nice kick. Coffee, strong, nice.

We Love these donuts, our coworkers rip the box open. No matter what kinda donut you get they are done with love and a ton of flavor! Donuts are excellent for having vegan ingredients. However, if you enjoy a deep fried sugar rush (like I do) this is likely not for you. I had a Boston cream chocolate & a raspberry powered sugar donut. Boston cream was medium level sugar but excellent taste and texture! I've always wanted to try this place and one morning me and my partner decided to try and go and get there early in order to get some of the donuts as we were aware they run out quickly. I've been going to SoJo's since their opening and I've never had a disappointing experience. The owners and employees are always wonderful and the food is reliably great. Two years ago, I had just moved to Phoenix amd was missing my favorite vegan donut shops back home. I was also questioning the move/feeling homesick, but after trying Sojo's Donuts I specifically remember thinking, "I think I can live here!" Sojo's doesn't just have donuts that happen to be vegan, they offer so many creative flavors with a rotating menu. Really wanted to love these. Got five different flavors but really they all taste like sugar and yeast and little else. No apple to be seen or tasted in the fritter. All the yeast donuts had an incredibly overpowering yeasty taste and smell. The people were very nice but their recipes seem to need finesse and attention.
