The Food I stumbled upon Simbongsa with my wife during our food exploration. Simbongsa is a Korean Croquette & Donut Shop. We got a chance to try their Quabegi (Twist Donut), along with their Spicy Pork Cheddar and Crab Meat Korokke. Both the Quabegi and Korokke are crispy when we got them. The Quabegi have a soft inside to contrast the outside. The Spicy Pork and Cheddar and Crab Meat Korokke were also very good, with a good filling to shell ratio. A little hard to find because it's actually inside the Event Centre but the (I presume) owner, was super nice! She used to own a Mochinut apparently :) The croquettes were really good, very flaky crust and chewey without feeling like you're gnawing on stale bread. And the fillings were bomb as well. I'm definitely going to be visiting again :D

I tried this for the first time today and holy cow it was fire! I got this as a snack because I didn?t eat lunch and I had to stop myself from eating more! I ordered the mozzarella, pizza, and spicy pork and all were so delicious! Can?t recommend it enough!

The ladies that operate this location are great. I tried the food here a few weeks back and for a pop up location it's really good. Definitely love the bulgolgi korokke , mozzarella korokke and pizza korokke. My daughter absolutely loves the quabegi donut twists. Keep up the good work ??
