Shop Rite Supermarket

Absolutely cannot say enough good things about the people that work and run this store. They're truly superstar individuals that do all that they can to ensure you are as happy as you can be with their products and services. We recently used their deli to cater a graduation party. The food was perfect and the people that made it happen from order to delivery all went out of their way to help our party be the best it could be. Thank you!

An easy place to run in for whatever I forgot on my weekly grocery trip. I stop in probably once a week. The people are friendly and ever so helpful. I picked up flowers for my secretary but was on the phone, and the manager came and bagged them ever so carefully so they wouldn't drip on my way to the checkout. It was a very kind gesture and definitely appreciated!

They have similar products to VG's they're the new vgs lol deli food's always good the workers are always nice.

Generally have good selections and decent prices. No sugar free choices on most items. In a world where half our population has diabetes this seems a bit shortsighted.

Very overpriced I like the store and I support a small business but highly over priced. I understand a smaller store needs to charge a little bit more but not by 2 to 3 dollars.

I've shopped here for years. Always have had good service but this last week they went over and above. The Deli when asking about their chicken salad gave me a container of fresh made for a longer life for my money, next went to Bakery asking about any bread just bagging the friendliest person went out and sliced me a fresh loaf. Meat department a kind young man took the time to explain what benefits the yellow stickers on the meat meant. Made my way to check out and ran in to the friendliest cashiers. I k

Today was my first visit to our local supermarket and I have to say I was quite impressed. This store is very clean, well organized and well stocked. While they may not have everything the larger chain stores have because they don't have the space, they make great use of the space they do have. Prices are reasonable and while they may be slightly higher when you factor in gas expense to drive farther to get to a larger store, it makes sense to shop locally. Plus the employees are super pleasant!

They have a great selection produce and have wonderful associates.

A lil costly, watch for manager special stickers. Took a friend to shop here.

I am not from the area but my in-laws reside in this small town. If you want a blast from the past go and stop in here. The stock boys all wear shirt and tie. This place serves the community. The prices are a little high but that is the way o the times but they do have some great deals from time to time. I fell in love with their home made jerky..man are they good... This place is nice, clean, and friendly. Everyone greets you with a ?? And man their chicken is better in my opinion is better then the KFC.

Great staff and great prices. Always make u feel wanted and the cheapest place to get the best pretzels on the planet ... 2 for 6 like who don't want that kind of deal.... go get them before they raise the price.. just fully stocked today but they sell fast

Employees should not be talking about problems they had with other customers earlier in the day in front of other customers saying how they want to punch people in the throat. It is unprofessional. There is a time and a place for that. Also complaining about other employees doing nothing. Unacceptable. It was the red head older lady. Be more professional when customers are around.

It's kind of the only option in the area. Have found multiple produce items on shelves that were growing mold. Thank God I checked otherwise it probably would've been a pretty bad night come dinner time. For the prices, I feel like the quality should be better. I still don't understand why a box of cereal is $7 here but $4 at Walmart. Cashiers and workers are usually pretty nice. That's the best I can say, being that the fact that the store robs buyers of so much isn't their fault.

This wonderful store is nothing less than a public service! The employees are super up-beat. The store is spotlessly clean, well lit, and the shelves are always " faced and fronted" The deli is off the charts good for a wide variety of hot food ( we never miss the Generals Chicken on Thursday) The bakery turns out scratch made donuts and pastries that are as good as any we've had anywhere. Only dropped off a point because there's no rewards and seems like if it's not on sale, it's way over priced. Never had a problem with quality. Clean store, nice staff, excellent deli, fresh produce. Overall, good place to get food.

Always clean and there are usually good weekly specials (Buy 2 get 3 free). The deli has really good meats, cheeses, salads, and desserts, and their deli chicken wings are GREAT. My only problem with this store is that some of their prices are steep. They have the market cornered in such a small town, so I guess they can afford the higher prices, but overall I'm usually pleased with my experience shopping here.

They raised there prices skyhigh can't afford to shop there anymore only run in for one or two things can't grocery shop there have to go to Caro or Birch run! Good for taking bottles back :( Reading reviews lot people complaining about your high prices must not be worried about losing business ! I don't shop where I live anymore!!

My home town store. I love it. Its clean and neat. The selection is good. Produce is fresh. Yes it's a bit more pricey ( but not too bad) than city big box (I work at one)..but for convenience it's my go to store. Its friendly, and people smile at each other in the aisles. Workers want to help you and are never huffy about it. I love that the cashier will tell a guy to get the bag of softener salt for you...and then he takes it out and loads it...no question. If you have never gotten food from their deli, you are missing out. The potpies are so delicious. ?? The donuts are awesome! I drive 20 miles out of my way for potpies and donuts. Well worth it!

Store is always clean. Great week ly sales. Cashier s are always friendly and polite. Their fried Chicken is always fresh and delicious. Hope they will improve their seafood selection. Donuts are delicious. This store is is excellent.

This store is really going down hill. Getting too expensive for what they do have, but rarely have what you are looking for. You buy you meats at Norms Butcher Market cheaper. Most shelves are barren. They have a great bakery. Potatoes & Onions don't last and many are bad when you buy them. I only shop here for a quick pick up of at the moment need. I can do a full shop in Saginaw for less and actually get what I am looking for. Nothing against the employee's they are great. But they really do need to come

Been shopping here for 15 years and seen this place in the last few years going down hill. Even since Millington lost it's market your prices went up the day they closed, the Quality of your meats is let's just say "perty much unedible" for prices higher than Norm's or Kroger's. It's become cheaper for us to do shopping else where.

Shop Rite is a Vary nice small city market, but makes you feel like your in a big city. I grew up down the street so it was always are go to store for everything. They do a great job with the up keep and its always clean and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and make you feel appreciated for your business with them !

I?m very disappointed in the customer service at this store. I was at the store around 8 am. There was no waiting in line, which was nice. The young man running the cash register didn?t bother to great me, say thank you or even place my bagged items in the cart. I told him the bottle return didn?t accept some of my returns, which had been purchased at this store, and he just shrugged his shoulders. The prices are extremely high, but I still prefer to shop local, that is until my experience this morning.

I love this store. Great deals. Great Fresh produce selection. Great Fresh meat prices. Everyone is very kind and finding a store clerk to help you out is not hard. I have found I do not want to stray far from great quality even at somewhat higher prices.

They are nice people that are there. But sometimes you get outdated food. But they always will take back the product and exchange it for good product.

I would give them 5 but there bakery has dropped in quality dramatically in the last couple years. Even the managers won't fix any problems I have had with them. I use to buy no less then 6 cakes a year from them but there bakery is so bad now that I will drive all the way to Kroger for my cakes now.

They're local, they have Spartan products, a trusted brand and a quantity product. The staff are helpful when asked and they have good sales every now and then. One complaint is that they sometimes don't keep the shelves well stocked when there is a good sale. So you're not able to take advantage of all the low prices due to the fact that the product is flying off the shelf faster than they can keep up with the demand.

Kinda overpriced, bakery was mostly bare. I was really only interested in one item there, and it was pretty good! There wasn't much option or variety, though. The rest of the store has nice stuff, the fresh produce looked amazing.

Some say prices are high but honestly for the convenience I don't mind paying a few cents more per item. Always clean, great selection, terrific deli and bakery. And the owner is awesome!

This store has a FANTASTIC Deli. Fresh meats and TONS of freshly baked bread -pies - cookies etc. SUPER CLEAN. The produce selection is also 5 star! Just 1 of the absolute best stores around! Prices are fair and there is always specials. If you are in the area, this is the store to shop!

This store has the best customer service I've ever seen in my life! I was personally walk back to the deli counter and shown all the different cuts that they can do for deli sandwiches. It was outstanding. Looking forward to my next experience!

I'm from New Jersey n where Shop Rite are all over there . So now it's nice seeing a Shop Rite in Vassar Michigan. I hope there the same as the Shop Rite in New Jersey. Not sure if they sell Pork Roll or Taylor Ham as some say . I hope they have a bakery where they made fresh hard roll. I'll drive from Unionville Michigan to shop there. N if there Deli has Domestic Ham oh yes I'll be happy .

The customer service is excellent! I've never shopped here before, but at checkout, we explained that we hadn't been able to find something we were looking for. The cashier explained where it was and agree I still couldn't locate it, the bagger ran to the back of the store to find it for us. The prices are very fair, and we will definitely be back.

Overpriced, I think they take advantage of them being the closest grocery store to multiple communities. I've moved to Ann Arbor area which has much higher living expenses and groceries in multiple stores are cheaper with more variety. I couldn't believe how the prices changed when I visited family.

Tried some really good Japanese ice cream treats there I think they're called Hoshi? ?? delicious

Produce is always fresh. For some reason they always have a big selection of large size house plants for 12.99 which I personally love ?? everyone is super friendly too

While most of the workers comply with covering thier hair in the deli.... Today a young man was packaging lunch meats with his tshirts sleeves cut off (very large holes) . You looked old enough to have armpit hair. This is supposed to be a sanitary workplace!!! Dress appropriately.

Too pricey, $5.69 for fairlife milk! Everything is overpriced, everything. But it's the only grocery store within a 25-mile radius. They're criminals

Good store has great sales at times, the bakery used to be the high point but they have gone VERY down hill I ordered a cake for my baby shower and the sticker was not blended to frosting was not smooth and the edges were sloppy. On top of all of this when I went to pick up the cake the baker had left it on the counter and went home. I've also heard of people finding stail cupcakes in the pull aparts. Good store but something has to happen with that bakery.

Hard to get service in the deli, people standing around. They have raised prices, outrageous. Once again I went into the store, people working there not friendly at all, they don't smile, and big issue is they don't say HELLO. Need a lesson in public relations.

Has everything you need, but most everything is incredibly overpriced. Good for picking up a forgotten ingredient or putting together a meal. If you're shopping for the week, it'll break the bank.

I wished they would carry sugar free chocolate chips and Reese's for baking purposes but they are a pretty good country grocery store.
