I have been thoroughly impressed by the courteous staff and delectable offerings at this doughnut shop, which has quickly become my new favorite. It has been a long time since I enjoyed a properly made apple fritter. Though I typically do not favor filled doughnuts, aside from Bavarian creme, I must say I enjoy all the varieties here, including strawberry iced, Bavarian creme-filled chocolate iced, white iced, apple fritter, blueberry filled, strawberry filled, plain sugar, cinnamon roll, glazed plain cake,

Great donuts, egg and cheese kolache, and good tasting coffee. Great and friendly service. Welcoming atmosphere.

My husband knows I love Shipley's apple Fritters, so he surprised me with one on Saturday morning, April 5th. I was so happy until I bit into it and realized that I could break my teeth...lol...lol... This apple fritter was fried so hard!!!!! I didn't enjoy it and threw it away. I was so excited when my husband told me they had reopened again off of the north central expressway in Plano, I hope they take pride in their food and produce better qualities of donuts. Mardianne

Small Shipley adjacent to Jersey Mike's, but has every type of donut you want. Excellent variety and service. A definite stop with large size donuts at a competitive price. Drive thru available but need to walk in to see all the yummy donuts you can pick from.

That was the absolute best plain glazed donut I?ve ever had. I grew up with a Shipley?s donut shop, and these are just like the ones from my childhood in Louisiana. Soft, buttery, and sweet. They have a lot of donut options that look delicious, but my heart will always choose the standard glazed. And the coffee. Good coffee too.

Such great service! The owners are so nice and helpful. They always work with us on large donut orders and accommodate our needs and wants. The donuts are always good and fresh!

Shipley Do-Nut has been our go to since we were kids. Now that I live in Chicago, we frequently come for coffee and do-nuts and take a box back home for my kids. The Kolache is absolutely a must!!!!! Along with a dozen of hot plain glazed. They melt in your mouth.

If you are from Too good to go and want to read the reviews before ordering it, please DO NOT buy from this shop. I know we paid like a half price, but it isn't worth it as donuts this store gave me like a 2 days old, the cream top of donuts all running and dry bottoms. Not like other donut shops give donuts they couldn't sell in that day. We want to save money, but the result is wasting money to buy something we couldn't eat. Not recommend this shop at all.

Great little donut shop with full donut menu and kolaches and coffee and drinks too. We enjoyed using the indoor dining option but they also have a drive thru. Like the layout where you can see them busy in the kitchen making everything while enjoying food at the table. Has a bathroom too which is nice. The donuts and kolaches were all good. And the employees ringing us up was super friendly even though it was 5:30am. Will be back.

This was my first time at Shipley's. Was impressed with the quality, variety of donuts and the prices are very fair too. Our salesperson was quick and efficient in selecting our donuts.

I really enjoyed my visit to Shipley Do-nuts. Across the board, the assortment of do-nuts are always fresh and flavorful. A wide selection are available - my favorite is the blue berry do-nut. Several issues over the past year! Sometimes glazed donuts are great! Sometimes they are dry and hard. I called and offered to bring donuts back to be replaced. The lady manager ( horrible attitude) wants to argue with me. Then she says she can replace my kids donuts. They go in to get them and buy 2 for their grandma since they were still fresh. Wonderful donuts and amazing service! This is a family-run business and is super kid family. They have windows where you can see the kitchen and my kids love to watch them make things. They even gave them some dough to play with and they were ecstatic. This location is new and very nice inside.

Oh my goodness, this place is awesome. I wish I can give more stars on excellent service. The staff is always super friendly and always fast to give you your order out. 8:30am on a Saturday. Exiting the car we were hit by the smell of sweetness. Walking inside I was so impressed with the filling selection, which was the first thing I noticed. I counted 12 different fillings. They had donuts I can't find at my neighborhood donut shop. I wanted to try them all. Everything we selected was fresh and packaged with care. The salted caramel ice coffee was creamy with a mild sweetness. The balance of salty and sweet made it the best I have had in a long time. The store was clean.

Been coming here since I moved to the area five years ago. I love how soft and slightly doughy their doughnuts are. I enjoy their sausage and cheese kolaches. The staff is always friendly and seem happy

This location had good staffing for a Saturday morning. I entered with another customer right behind me. We both were helped immediately as their were two registers open. I also observed a third employee manning the drive thru line. The selection seemed excellent for non-cake donuts. But a little less so for cake donuts. But the flavors were excellent. Keep up the good work!

Best place to get your donuts in town! I found this place last year hiding in plan sight. The staff is really friendly. The donuts are delicious. They have a huge variety of donuts which is awesome. Every time I have ordered, the donuts were fresh! My favorite one is the lemon filled donut. The only thing I really would like for them to do is open for a little longer. Sometimes I am too late and can?t get my donuts in time for my lunch and coffee snack run.

1st time visitor, had to go through drive through. Lobby was not open at 5:00am. Didn't get a good look at menu so I ordered dozen glazed and chocolate. They didn't look like what I'm use to. Gave it a four only because I didn't get to taste them before my team devoured them. Maybe a five if I had a chance to sample them. By the way, you might want to turn on lights on your building so people know you're open. Kind of creepy at 5:00am with no lights.

Not sure what's going on but the donuts I ordered today were not good at all. They tasted old and stale. I spent almost 25.00 on a dozen. I ordered thru Doordash. I will never buy again. This was my first and last time.

I decided to change my rating from three to one. After a visit on March 30th, 2024 @ 9:20am. I usually go inside but I decided to do drive thru this morning. Notice my bag didn't have napkins in it. Decided to go back and get napkins. The gentleman at the window gave 5 napkins for box of 20 donuts, asked for more and received a sarcastic response.

Excellent donut and super quick service. I always come through the drive thru to get donuts and the staff is always nice and quick to get my order. Their glazed donuts are the best. They are super light, soft and just delightful. I often gets 2 dozens for my staff and they are always a hit at the office. Their prices are reasonable too. A dozen glazed are around 8$ and just a bit more for the variety. Definitely my go to spot for donut.

I called to get a surprise birthday donut cake and they were so helpful! I spoke with the owner to order, he and his wife made an amazing arrangement for us! I would definitely recommend them not only for the donuts, but they had some of the best customer service! You can tell the owner and his wife really enjoy what they do, and I think that makes all the difference!

Typically go to Dunkin, but today I decided to try this place since it is another option that is open later than typical donut shops. It was eerily quiet and the fingerprint smudges all over the glass door while the store was so dead was a little off-putting. The buttermilk glazed donut that was suggested as a comparable choice to the Dunkin sour cream donut was o.k. Not great, not bad, just o.k. However, this is the reason for the 2 stars -- the hot coffee was repulsive. I drink black coffee with my donuts

Kolaches were hot and fresh, but they have changed the sausage to what tastes like generic hot dogs. Donuts were good, not great. Still better than the mom and pop donut shops, but not worth the drive from Lavon anymore.

It's NEVER a good sign when you go to a donut shop, on a weekend morning, and you see NO CUSTOMERS! I should have taken the hint and went elsewhere. But I didn't. First time to this location. I loved it! The kids were very satisfied, my nephew couldn't stop eating the cherry iced donut. Him and my sister also agreed that the strawberry icing was amazing. This is one of the best donut places I've ever been to. Light and fluffy glazed, fruity blueberry, and big cinnamon rolls with LOTS of creamy frosting. My absolute favorite out of the bunch though, has to be the apple fritters. Super moist and fruity, with just the right amount of crunchy outside to contain it all. IT. WAS AWESOME. Definitely going to recommend this place to everyone I know.

I love shipley donuts! I grew up with these doughnuts but the one from my hometown was open 24/7. This one is only open early to a little into the afternoon. Make no mistake the product made here is fantastic, but the 5 stars would need to allow me to relive the late night doughnut runs from my college days. Still go and support this establishment especially during these hard times!

It was meh, the apple fritter was hard and crispy and pretty much no apple flavor, and the cinnamon roll was really like a coffee roll.
