Based out of Texas, this chain did not disappoint! We each had a blueberry-filled donut -- perfectly soft, fresh, and packed with rich filling. Absolutely delicious. We also split a sausage, egg, and cheese kolache with jalape?o... and WOW. It was beyond words amazing -- the perfect balance of flavor and heat, wrapped in soft, pillowy dough. To top it off, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back. A fantastic spot for both sweet and savory treats!

We had the pleasure of working with Joel, and I must say that I have not met a kinder gentleman in quite some time. This was my first time, but my boyfriend hasn't be able to find a Shipley's since he left Birmingham 4 years ago. Joel made him feel like a kid again, and Shipley's has THE BEST food. So many flavors I've never seen, and I LOVE the devil food donut. The breakfast sandwich options are fresh, hot and flavorful and so so good!! 10/10 would recommend, especially this location!!!

My boyfriend and I were very excited to try this place out. Unfortunately, as soon as we got to the drive thru, we were barely greeted. Seemed like she didn?t want to talk to us at all. To add to that, I ordered an ice latte that had milk that was obviously expired and was inedible. We are sick to our stomach, we called the store with the same girl who ?greeted? us originally and didn?t even say anything at first until we said something. I am a big believer in the fact that you don?t always need to go to a giant chain like their neighbor Dunkin?. Shipley has some of the best fresh never frozen pastries I?ve had around here. Pricing is very very reasonable and the quality of the food is fresh and so far hasn?t let me down. I would highly urge you to try them instead of dunkin

The good: the donuts were fresh, flavorful, and a great variety. The bad: the coffee. Nothing more disappointing than to take a bite of an amazing donut and wash it down with coffee that tastes like this. They either need to clean the coffee machine, filter their water, change their coffee grind, or all of the above. Friendly staff with counter service as well as a drive through. I'll be back for the donuts, but the coffee I will get elsewhere.

Had an amazing time at Shipley's! Went for a coffee and came away with a friend. They were so warm and inviting as soon as I walked in. Was a refreshing change of pace from how I'm typically greeted (or not) at other donut shops. If you are looking for donuts in Cumming, look no further. I took a bunch of donuts back to the office and my team was raving about how good they were! Also look for Joel if you go...he is worth the visit!

was so excited to learn that a shipley's was relatively close (30 minute drive). haven't had these in 7/8 years but this is not what i remember at all. i am 1000% sure these are old. they can't be fresh. these donuts are SO dry. i can't believe i drove 31 miles just to get these. and i passed krispy kreme on the way smh. i remember them being so good but these are awful. they absolutely have to be OLD. no possible way these were made today. a waste of gas, time and money. not worth eating.

Shipley's is always nostalgic visit for us from our Texas days. Kolaches still good, but they only had jalape?o flavor left and were overdone. Not quite as great as our traditional Texas location experiences.

I love Shipley in Houston, TX. This location the staff was friendly. The donuts are not like TX but they are still good. These are too dense. They need to change the floor or use less.

A warm Shipleys donut is one of my fondest childhood memories. They would avoid selling a cold donut as much as possible, and fill boxes as they came out of the fryer. I now know this is because Shipleys donuts are just not good cold. Here in Cumming they are always cold, and not anywhere near worth the price.

They were the nicest people who even tried to make to order some of their items for me. The kolache was the best I ever had.

Yay! Shipleys is now in Georgia! The chocolate filled donuts were true to the delicious taste I have grown to know and love. I've been to over a dozen now and those one did not disappoint except for not answering the phone so I could place an order. Other than that, welcome to Georgia!

I went to Keith Bridge location this morning for the first time. I was hoping for an outstanding glazed donut. Nope, didn't happen. Just another "me too" donut at best, that tasted like a leftover from the day before. I was told it was fried 10 mins ago. In my opinion, that was not true.

The place was spotless and the lady was still cleaning anyway. I love that. It was so clean! That said, the apple fritter was stale and burnt. The other donuts we got were fair! Donut holes are my favorite and I was not disappointed. The hot coffee was a little on the old side but not bad.

I grew up in Texas and love Shipley's donuts. So happy to have found a location in GA. After trying all the flavors, we always stick to the glazed - simple, delicious, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Wished the donuts were served warm like they are in TX, but still a million times better than any other donut chain out there.

I'm from Texas and I have been waiting for them to come and the donuts are just exactly what I remember from back home my favorite is the bear claws cinnamon rolls and the sour cream donuts.

Was going to stop by Dunkin?s for coffee, but saw this donut shop right next to them. I always like to try new places. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. I ordered 2 ham & cheese Kolaches and they weren?t bad. I also ordered an apple fritter and a regular large coffee with cream and sugar. The apple fritter was burnt so bad, we had to toss it. The coffee was only half full, extremely bitter with maybe a drop of cream and no sugar whatsoever. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly I don?

If i could give this place 10 stars I would. The people there are always so kind and friendly. They always ask me how my morning is and to enjoy the rest of the day. The kolaches and donuts are top tier. I?m not a coffee drinker so i can?t advocate in that way, but i?m sure it?s great if it?s anything like their food. There?s a Dunkin right next to it and I would love to see a smaller place like Shipley?s get more business and recognition!

I ordered the new breakfast kolachas and was sorely disappointed. They were more like steamed buns. The filling in the sausage one was unseasoned and the bacon on was so salty I couldn?t finish it. Still love the donuts.

The staff are super nice but the donuts and coffee just are not good. It was cool to try a new chain but it was not a good experience. Coffee tastes cheap and bland, while their breakfast food and donuts tastes very plain and old.

Really good Donuts. What else can I say. The girls at the front were really nice and patient with my kids while they picked their selections. The donuts were all what you would expect from a smaller donut shop. Good quality and not overpriced. The apple fritter was not my favorite but that was the only negative for me. Don?t know when this open, but I?m a big believer in supporting my local businesses. Stop there for four donuts and a French vanilla coffee. Donuts was very good and freshly made, they got the coffee wrong but not a big deal I didn?t need it any ways. I end up getting black coffee but it was still tasty so no complaint. Will definitely come back and let my friends and family know as well.

I?m a Georgia transplant and was so excited to Shipley?s Donuts like I had growing up in Arkansas. This location was a disappointment. The service was great however they are not living up to the Shipley?s name. They ran out of glazed donuts and it?s not fresh. The donut I did receive was okay. If you know anything about Shipley?s then you know.

This place is amazing! I was concerned when I saw a donut place going literally next door to Dunkin. Now that I?ve experienced Shipley?s I am no longer concerned! These donuts are light, fluffy and delicious! I had a bold sausage and cheese kolachee, and was very pleased with it as well! If you are an impatient person, you may not be pleased as the folks who have discovered this gem are willing to wait in line to be served. It?s not a supply issue, it?s a demand issue, and the wait is worth it!

The doughnuts are great! The apple fritters look amazing, but really lack apple. The kolaches are so good, and nearly impossible to find anywhere else in Georgia.

I generally don't eat a lot of sweets. But I've waited eleven years for this, to be at a Shipley Do Nuts again. The last one I was at was coming out of Nashville TN in 2012. Today was even better than I remembered and the coffee was fantastic! And the employees was very helpful and made me feel at home.

Very disappointed in my first visit. It took a long time for someone to wait on me even though there was close to 10 people working. I found out cinnamon twists do not count as doughnuts. They did not have any blueberry cake doughnuts. Worst of all, all of the doughnuts tasted burnt. Definitely did not live up to the hype. Wow it took two months to get a response. Contact info submitted. Let's see how long it takes to get a response this now.

Great donuts we rated donut shops with family and came up with: #1 is definitely Krispy Kreme #2 Shipleys #3 Dunkin They only have drip coffee could improve in that aspect if you?re eating great donuts you def want great coffee to go with it. Definitely will need to add extra seating as well.

Great do-nuts. I know this place from Texas & and whenever we go to Houston to visit family & and friends, we always go Shipleys do-nuts for coffee & donuts. Was pretty surprised when I saw they had a location in Cummings & I immediately pulled in & gave it a try & was pretty good donuts & kolacha too ham & cheese. So if you ever in the Cummings area give Shipleys a try.

These donuts are beyond excellent!! I grew up on Shipley's donuts in Mississippi. They are the only donuts I will eat. The only thing I would suggest is that they would keep their donuts hot during the day.

Went on Monday 3/20/23, I was very excited weeks earlier hearing they were coming soon. I have been to this do-nut shop 3 times since they have opened. The do-nuts are incredible! They have so many flavors and are made fresh on premises. My favorites are the cinnamon sugar and lemon filled. By far, this is my favorite do-nut shop. Watch out Dunkin? and Krispy Kreme.

The reason there was a line waiting in the rain is because the product they?re selling was SOLD OUT and they were in the process of baking more for us next round of customers. You don?t get that at Dunkin or KK. Shipley?s actually bakes in house. And the owner was actually standing right there in the rain with us giving us a play by play of what was being baked, when certain items would be ready, etc. so I?m not sure where your inaccurate accoun

We are transplants from Houston, TX that now live in Atlanta and this Shipley's is just like we remember it back home! The kolaches are especially amazing and people are great. Shipleys >> Krispy Kreme any day.
