Shipley Do-Nuts Carrollton

We frequent this location every weekend. Sadly, we get old donuts more often than not. When they?re fresh, they?re good. But it?s not cheap to get a box of clearly old donuts. Very disappointing. Please stop giving out old donuts. These went straight in the trash and a disappointed little girl. Just went to get donuts for my little girls birthday today. I forgot to ask for ?hot donuts,? which seems to be the only way to not get old crap. Get home and these donuts are absolute trash. Ridiculous! I?m done sp

Donuts are good. I tried the boudin kolaches and it was doughy and not cooked thoroughly. It was like they rushed it and clearly wasn't done baking. It was expensive to throw it out.

Our road trip needed a great beginning, we started here. Great breakfast food, many options to pick from, and great service by the staff.

Donuts were just meh, slightly better than donuts at a grocery store. The glaze was overly sweet and slightly oily. The apple fritters looked like a hot mess, flat and lacking the craggly lumps of apple morsles.

We came to this location to use a Groupon. We found that it was a decent location open at 5 a.m. close at 5 p.m. Personnel inside working are not bad and seems helpful. Some selections are not hot, a microwave is available.

I love Shipley, but this location is somewhat different. Tiny drop of Strawberry filling, light and so many holes on donut. I will go another location.

The donuts here are quite good, with a nice variety to choose from. Unfortunately, the chocolate icing from one donut got smeared all over the others, which affected the presentation and made them a bit messy to eat. Despite this issue, the quality of the donuts still shines through.

Went here and enjoyed the Apple Fritter and they were fantastic ??... kids enjoys the powdered donuts! I tried and love the Butterfly ?? Donuts ?? ??

Very disappointing from the hype. The waitress didn't confirm the order before charging so instead of egg and cheese croissant we got a kolache. Whatevr that is... Update. Donut holes were okish.. the kolache was good. The javachip coffee was horrible

The drive thru lady had some type of attitude, very unpleasant. I asked for cream for my coffee but when I received it, no cream was in the bag. So I asked for cream which she begrudgingly gave me. Then I had to ask for a stirrer. Another unpleasant look. Also had to ask for napkins which she gave me one (1). Also later discovered she overcharged me for a glaze donut ($2.75). First and last time going to this location.

We have always loved this neighborhood Shipleys but they also did a FABULOUS job on a large order for my workplace. The donuts were super fresh, delicious, and ready to go promptly when I arrived. The team is friendly and the donuts and kolaches are simply better than all the others !

Staff is always so friendly and donuts delish.! Revised since original post 5 years ago. The owners seemed to have changed and so did all the staff since then. When I tried these since then I have received at least 1 donut that didnt taste fresh. It was somewhat hard and not as good as the others. I don't go to any Shipleys Do-nuts anymore since I count of freshness.

The lady at the drive thru wearing glasses is rude and unprofessional. I requested for her to warm my donuts when I placed my order because each time I visit my donuts are always really cold. She refused to warm them and told me they were good as is. She is always rude. The other Shipley locations will warm donuts if they are not fresh. 7-11 donuts better at this point

Check your receipts! I ordered a regular kolache at the drive-thru, and the drive thru attendant Daymara charged me for a bottle of water when I did not order one. UPDATE: I am changing my review because today I received a letter from the CMO expressing concern that i had an unpleasant experience and they went out of their way to make it right. I stand corrected. THIS is customer service. Well done and thank you!

Never liked leaving a bad reviews, I barely write one, unless it?s absolutely great service. Anyways, I?ve been here several times and the employee lady was very rude every time I?ve visited. Nice staff. I came in around the end of their business hours and they were really kind, patient, and even enthusiastic. I was new to Shipleys and excited to try all the different filled donuts. They didn't disappoint. The Choclate filled was good and so was the cherry. A cool quick donut place for decent variety.

I come here all the time to get warm donuts as I'm working. It is 6am and I do not understand why there are not freshly warm donuts already made. The girl hands me 2 cold doughnuts and I politely asked her to heat them up and she told me that they do not heat up donuts with no explanation as to why not. Horrible service! I went here and the donuts were VERY cold. The Kolache was buttery on the outside which was good but the cheese on the inside tasted like singles American cheese. The kolachis are delicious here. I highly recommend the cinnamon twist donut. If you are a frequent visitor of this Shipley's you can buy their reusable coffee cups and get really cheap refills each time you go back. The cups are actually really nice quality too. I took off one star because the seating area is usually really hot, they need to increase the AC and it's not always clean- tables and chairs need to be wiped down.

Ordered donuts to be delivered: 1/2 dozen chocolate sprinkles, 1/2 glazed, and 1 blueberry glazed cake. I received 1 chocolate donut, 1 glazed donut, and 1 powdered plain cake donut. Wouldn?t answer the phone when I tried to call them about it. I?m never ordering from this location again and I will be contacting corporate about my experience.

Shipley's is great. I always buy more than I need for my trainees, but what can I say it's donuts. Customer service was friendly, and I got a free donut out of the unplanned stop. Win, win.

Used to love this place, but I've developed an affinity for jelly filled things, and they have like a tear drop of filling in theirs (went two separate times over 3 weeks to make sure it wasnt a fluke). I don't really like donuts , but I loveeee Shipley's. The people here are amazing too. My family and I are in love with the Bavarian cream filled donuts and to get a dozen, is super cheap ! 8.99 for a dozen and you get rewards immediately with 5 star. Tonya is wonderful as well. She is always smiling , she has an optimistic attitude, and she goes above and beyond everytime we come in to make sure we have a great experience at Shipley's!

Drive thru does not equal justifying staying in your bed clothes, that's a societal thing. Unless you have rules for dress in place for somewhere you have to go you can wear whatever you want. Don't waste your life stressing about subjective societal opinions on your clothes.

This location is typically hit or miss. This morning is an all the way miss. I stopped to get donut holes and sausage and cheese kolaches for my son on the way to school. Once we got to school waiting for the doors to open, this is what was in our bags. Stale, overcooked, seemingly old and not fresh donut holes, and overcooked kolaches. Horrible horrible service. Not only were we given the wrong order but on top of that they wouldn?t return our phone calls. We ordered through Grub Hub who told us the malfunction was not on their end, but because Shipley?s was not answering the phone calls received from Grub Hub. There's just something off about this location in the customer service department. What kind of place that you go to and you order something and then they come up and tell you they don't have part of the order and instead of asking you what you want to do or how to rectify it they just decide that they will add something else and replace it and that's going to work for you?
