i ordered 4 total things and i had to keep repeating to the woman at the front desk what we wanted?? lady wasn?t paying any attention to me or my order then we we left halfway down the road we realized one of the 4 things we didn?t get in the bag yet we paid for it. honestly didn?t even want to turn around to get the item they left out??

Best breakfast I've had in a long time And if you share a donut with somebody from there they got to tell you that it's probably the best donut they've ever had are prettier. If they got a better donut let them post it so I can go there and get one but this place you pay a little more for the donut but you get a lot more donut very tasty

The lady that helped me was amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed but for the price I paid for food you would think it would be good. Burger burnt, bottom bun frozen. Omelette was so dry and gross, bacon was so crispy it fell apart when picking up. I will definitely never spend another dime here again.

Go in every Friday morning for breakfast. Will even order food for lunch once in a while. Never had any issues and the owner and staff are helpful. Nice small business and great when the owner comes out to talk with his customers. Very personable.

it was early I ordered 2 dozen donuts to go, all the guys at work were happy, ther had a major sugar buzz they work harder, thank you for your excellent donuts. The service was cheerful even though it was early. I had never entered the shop before and I was pleased with the atmosphere comfortable and nostalgic.

The muffin I had was homemade feeling. The food we had was hot and fresh. It was amazing service and I felt like the customers are cared about.

One of the girls working was very sassy. I was nothing but polite the whole time when I got my food it tasted dry and she gave me a dirty look. I don?t know how this place is in business.

Not only was the worker very rude and snippy, but she also couldn?t be bothered to get the correct paczki for us. We didn?t notice until we were home of course. We will not be going back.

We ordered donuts from shelby donuts for our wedding. Ordered 7 dozen with multiple flavors and styles. And they absolutely killed it with both presentation and taste. They were the highlight of the dessert table. Cant thank you guys enough for your wonderful food, if anyone is looking for affordable donuts that knock it out if the park this is the place for you!

Customer service was lacking. The food tasted old and dry. Didn?t have the best feeling after and the resturant was a little dirty and outdated. Definitely will not be getting my business again

The worst donuts ever I will never step a foot in here again. I got $20 worth of donuts and he charged me $40 and they were not worth it at all the worst bakery ever I will be taking my business to another bakery from here on.

Gave them a try for the 2nd time and regretted it for the second time. Like eating cardboard. Will make the extra 10 minute drive to Knapp?s where you can guarantee the are fresh and melt in your mouth.

Today I had an excellent experience! It was my first visit to this place and I can't explain what a small gesture meant to me... it was just for a chocolate donut for my son... but I had to pay in cash and I was confident in paying by card, for me Surprisingly, the person who helped me told me that there was no problem, I should come back tomorrow to pay for the donut! My first visit and I will never go back! I got donuts and they were dry and awful the custard tasted like vanilla pudding, not custard at all! I've decided to edit my review. It really is ridiculous to charge $1 for using a credit card. We will no longer be going here. Original review: the people, food, and donuts are great. The 99? charge on credit cards fee regardless of purchase price is ridiculous. Donuts don't seem to have preservatives in them (not that I'm complaining), but have it in mind since the donuts are really only good for 24 hours after purchase so don't buy more than you can eat in that time period. Friendly atmosphere, great food. Their fresh spinach omelet is fresh spinach not frozen. They offer a senior breakfast menu which is quite nice. Cappuccino coffee in pumpkin spice or vanilla flavors. They have a couple days per week that they offer lunch specials such as burger and fries or a Coney dog for a great price. Not limited to just donuts, you can get excellent meals. Just remember they open early and close early too.

Very nice place. Clean, comfortable and excellent food. Full size coffee/donut/breakfast place. Been here several times and everything is good. Great portion size, and my burger was cooked exactly how I ordered it. Fries were crisp, and they didnt skimp on my mushrooms like most places. The price was a little high, but well within reason for the quality of the meal. Recommend it to anyone who enjoys small town vibes and a comfortable atmosphere.

Not just donuts! I love the mix up for breakfast, hash browns, egg, and selected items scrambled together. Hubby orders the birds nest, hash brown nest with selected items with eggs on top. Love the Cadillac coffee. Nice clean and recently updated interior. Very bright. Wait staff is super friendly.

I've ordered donuts here at least a dozen times. Consistently great and plenty of different donuts to please many types of people. Also, a great breakfast spot for early risers.

Since I started going to Shelby donuts the owner has displayed low morale characteristics, I had an agreement with the owner and he broke it, and he and his staff have been very rude to a lot of elderly people they seem to think the public owes them, I forgot that I left this review so when I seen Shelby donuts I had to change the review to be honest, I would not eat at this restaurant if you paid me $1 million. Don't waste your time with people that really don't care and if the owner has a problem with it

This little gem is one if our favorite places to breakfast after church. We had Cook's Special, eggs, choice of meat, hashbrowns & toast. Service was cheerful, quick and efficient, food was tasty, served hot.

Donuts and muffins are quality, and you feel good after eating them, unlike most donut places. Portions are on the larger size too for these items.

Bought stale day or two old muffins but was told they were made today. If you lie to me about product freshness you don't get another chance to rip me off. Charged a dollar twenty five to use debit card, so wrong. Took them to a friend's morning coffee visit and was soooo embarrassed that they sucked!! Do not go here.

Spur of the moment stop for the first time on the way to take the kids skiing last weekend. The double chocolate donuts were delicious. We ate their last 3. They do charge extra for a credit card transaction, but I will gladly pay that to support a local small business instead of a big chain donut shop!

Only visited here once in awhile. Decided to go there 2day. French toast is tough & TASTE LESS. PANCAKES are cheap batter mix. And to top it off GOT HOME TO DISCOVER. NO SYRUP!! COME ON! LOOKS LIKE COUNTRY OVEN IS THE WINNER!!!

The shop was busy when I was there. The lady behind the counter was friendly and efficient. Nice selection, plus some items I don't usually see in a donut shop. Their homemade nut breads are delicious. Highly recommend.

My boys and I LOVE this place. Cozy, diner feel, awesome menu, fresh donuts and super friendly staff. We live about 9 miles away, and come here as often as we can anyway...

Service was extremely slow for what should be a quick breakfast place. There are only 6 tables in the whole place. Also, I wasn't a fan of my food. I ended up not eating it and was starving when I left and had to go elsewhere.

To expensive they ring you up wrong they charge you a dollar if you use your card for how much they charge you should get a lot more food than what they give you

Update-3/27/2022- I decided to try them again and my original post stands. Still the driest donuts I have ever had from a bakery.---The doughnuts are very dry now and always taste like day old. It used to be a good bakery a few years ago, but NOT anymore. Absolutely terrible. The donuts are mediocre, I?ve had much better from 7-11. We purchased a slice of lemon, pumpkin, and carrot bread as well. The lemon and carrot bread were stale, and the pumpkin bread was MOLDY. Do NOT waste your time or money going here, you will be disappointed.

The donuts were clearly day old donuts on a Sunday morning, and we were charged full price for them. One bite and I knew the grease they use to fry the donuts has not been changed in way too long! Very disappointing, if this is how they are going to do donuts they should close up shop.

I had no idea they had more than doughnuts. Bisquits and gravy was great. A bit loud, when people talk you can hear the entire conversation so if you want a private conversation this is not the place.
