Got some ice cream after dinner. Nothing great, but nothing horrible. Cute like place, a little overwhelming with menus on both sides. Looks like, a little bit of food, donuts and ice cream too. Although don't know if food is available all day... Friends had cones. I think we'll stick to our usual place instead.

Now that?s how you do a waffle cone ?? and the classic combo crispy fries and a chicago style hot dog. Consider me a satisfied customer!

Finally, a great mom and pops ice cream/ sweet shop in the Griffith area. The sundaes and shakes are delicious and have a wide variety of ice cream flavors, and they make doughnuts!! Hot dogs, corn dogs, pizza puffs,Italian beef, and other food also available purchase. I forgot to mention they also have Italian ice and Dippin dots!!!

Wow this place hits the spot! Love coming here for a savory and sweet fix. There?s a lot of menu choices to choose from other than ice cream, which is a bonus. It?s clean and whimsical inside I love making a visit when I can! Whether you want a chili cheese dog, Dole whip, Italian ice, or a basket of fries, you?ll find a good combination here!

This is a true gem of a restaurant / ice cream parlor. Between a tomato, balsamic grilled cheese and a banana split, every last bite was delicious. The store was clean and well organized. That staff was friendly, knowledgeable and proficient. This 5 star review was truly well earned. I'll certainly be back.

First time here and it WILL NOT be my last. Came here after the park with my daughter for a Daddy and daughter ice cream day. Place was super clean, the 2 ladies working were very inviting and friendly. The food was not bad at all either.

I can not give SerenDIPity a big enough positive review!! I live in Northern Michigan and asked them for a very unique favor and they didn't hesitate to help!! Went there today with my 3 month old and 5 year old. Had amazing service and lots of fun with the games they have there to enjoy after finishing their great food ??

I personally did not get ice cream this time, but the flavors seemed super cool! I did get my daughter a donut and it was hot, and fresh. I love the fact that they make them on the spot and you can add whatever toppings you want to It. I tried it and it was very good! I got a grilled cheese and fries, the fries were awesome and the grilled cheese was just a normal grilled cheese but still not bad for $7. I see a lot of complaints about the prices but honestly I did not think they were unreasonable myself. T

A.new summer staple. Not only do they serve ice cream, but they also have food, snacks, donuts, a gift shop, novelty items, and so much more! There are so many delicious options I could try something new every day. The service was warm and friendly. My children and I are looking forward to our next visit.

Our family is excited to have an icecream parlor for family treats. We ordered a Birthday Cake hand dipped shake, a Blue Panda dippity cone and two other cones that got eaten before we could take a picture! The icecream is VERY rich and creamy. The young staff was friendly and quick to serve us on a Thursday evening. The facility is extremely clean and has a fun vibe to it. I took my daughter there for an ice cream and really appreciated the service. The ice cream was good, too. The location is perfect, being close to everything else in downtown but off the main drag, making it more peaceful to sit outside.

The absolute cutest ice cream parlor I?ve ever seen in person. We were not from the area, but they made us feel comfortable and welcome. I forget the names of the ice cream?s that my son, grandson and I had (I do remember mine having a chocolate with a dark chocolate on top.) but I loved the presentation, and it was very good! Next time we?re in the area we?ll have to try the food.

We ordered a two scoop Sundae with two toppings. The issue is that they put it in a cup not a sundae dish. So the toppings don't cover the bottom scoops of ice cream just the top. You can't take a bite of ice cream with the whip cream or hot fudge cuz it's all on top! They need sundae dishes when u order a sundae, instead of cramming it all in a milkshake cup! $7.25 for a medium, two scoop " sundae"? or whatever you call it!

My grandson and myself usually go every friday as long as he has had a well behaved good week . The food is good . Service is fantastic. His favorite is the superman icecream. It's a wonderful place to go.

This place is awesome! My Girlfriend and I wanted to check it out as we just moved to the area. The atmosphere is really nice the employs are very friendly and the ice cream is amazing! I got a marshmallow peanut butter shake and holy cow is it perfect. The prices I thought were pretty reasonable as well. 10/10 in my books. Will definitely be back!

I went to Serendipity for the first time yesterday. The oatmeal cream pie ice cream was amazing! My boyfriend and his aunt both liked their selections also. Definitely will be back!

The food was good and the ladies were nice. You order at the register and then they brought the food to our table because we were the only customers at the time. Then we had Hershey's ice cream for desert. They have quite a selection of flavors.

Try the ice cream flight for $6, it is so worth it!!! Will most definitely be back. However, when we were there, it seemed like just the ice cream side was open, not too sure what the other half is. Employees were friendly & moved pretty fast for just 2 of them!

Cute little shop with hand-scooped ice cream and homemade customized donuts. Stopped in with the family after a youth baseball game, and it was a big hit for all ages. There were plenty of good options for scoops, which made it difficult to choose. Every single person enjoyed what they had and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Great overall experience.

This was our first time visiting and we went for the ice cream. Everyone loved the atmosphere and staff was great! Whole family enjoyed their treat and decided we'd need to come back to try a donut some morning and then another visit for lunch! Great spot! Wish we'd found it sooner!!

The serendipity sundae was amazing! The fresh donut, icecream, all the toppings, and the perfectly shaped container that allows you to scoop every last bite! You cannot beat the price!

A little pricey but nice to have in town. Very welcoming and friendly. You get that good old fashioned ice cream parlor feel when you step through the door. Just be prepared to spend $5 to $10 per person (more if you are buying extras to bring home).

This is the cutest Ice cream shop I have ever visited. The ice cream selection was outstanding. They also had a good menu that looked amazing but I didn?t get to try any this time, but I will be back. The staff was super friendly. I have been looking for an ice cream shop like this, it took me back to my childhood.

I'm sorry to say this place was disappointing in my opinion. The prices are outrageous even worse than Baskin Robbins. Come on $ 8.00 for a medium shake and then they ask if you want whipped cream and that's another .50? Good luck surviving in this horses**t economy. Also, the owner was rude when I asked why there was a six person bench in the restroom. Save your hard earned money and go someplace else. My own opinion of course.

We absolutely love Serendipity the atmosphere is fun and the staff are all friendly and amazing individuals. Truly a staple to Griffith and a must visit for everyone. From the donuts to the food and you can?t go get the ice cream everything is delicious.

Counted 8 people working, almost all kids. No idea what they were doing. Didn?t know how to make a milkshake. Dad and my partner got a chocolate milkshake, it tasted way too milky. (On separate occasions) Waited 15 minutes for a dang milkshake. People working there couldn?t navigate (cause it was crowded with all of them working) Ice cream is Hershey brand. Wish it was from a local creamery. I?d be down to support a small business then. This place is a pass for me.

First visit I received a moldy donut and this visit I got a soft serve quicksand with count chocula cereal and it tasted stale. The bobba tea needed more syrup and was bland. I was hoping for a better experience but just not a fan.

Great, friendly environment! My husband loved their hand dipped ice cream and waffle cone. I recommend their special sundaes ? I tried the apple pie sundae and it was delicious!

They state they close at 8:00pm yet I get here at 7:15 and are closed. The inside still has workers and the lights are on. I?m very disappointed. I expect businesses to be open up to to the time posted on door or even just notified if there will be future closing beforehand.

Place was a disaster, so unorganized. We waited 15 minutes for a shake because milk spilled. While the girl complained the whole time in front of customers! Instead of having someone else make our shake while she cleaned up, people behind us kept getting help from other staff and we just waited. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and won't be back!

It has such a cute aesthetic and so much potential but the prices are literally outrageous like I get it, inflation but 2 scoops "medium" is 5.50 and the scoops are like kids sizes! They say the scoops are measured by ounces so idk if the lady gave me the wrong ounce size or what; save your money and get more someplace else; DQ has 3.84 LARGE cones for 10 ounces or flavors of michocan is a lot more generous; just plain stingy here smh ????

This is a fun place to take the kids or just to hang out for the afternoon. They have good food, lots of goodies, and board games to play, not far from the bike trail
