September Farm Cheese

Great discovery as a meeting place between friends in DE/PA! Have lots of cheeses, cheese curds, yummy ice cream too. We ate lunch there, ordering at counter and taking a seat on the sun filled heated porch. Lots of interesting food items. I got the Honeybrook sandwich and it was great. The fried cheese curds were delicious!

I brought my three year old daughter here after depositing some trash at the dump. We got lunch, ice cream, played on the playground, and watched the goats. The crispy chicken wrap was really good, and it came with chips and plenty of pickles. It was big enough for us to split. It?s a good spot for anyone, but extra accommodating for someone with young kids.

Absolutely loved it! Locally produced CLEAN food. I can 100 percent come here and indulge knowing I won't crash and burn after a filling meal. Staff is Absolutely amazing, fast service and very clean dining area. This will definitely be our new go to spot when we work up this way.

Cute, clean, and cozy. Plenty of seats to enjoy countless treats from the ice cream station, coffee station, bakery station, etc. Not to mention every flavor cheese you can think of. They prepare hot meals in the kitchen as well. Tried the habanero cheese curds, toasted Rachel sandwich, and a cheese tart. Purchased a bunch of other items to make at home. All 10/10!

Half of it was a store where you could stroll around and buy quite a variety of things. The other half a restaurant with seating. Also outdoor seating. A fun-looking playground. They had a deluxe coffee bar where you could order a coffee drink separately from the main food line. The food was scrumptious! Would definitely return.

Seriously, this is the best little country store around the Honey Brook area! Their cheese, sandwiches, and food are amazing! Plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The portions and prices are perfect! They're awesome with sandwiches and baked goods, and pretty much everything else! Thanks for always making it a great experience, time and again!

Seemed like a good country style place to get lunch. But it turned out to be like a fast food lunch. Potato soup was cool and had an anticaking agent was goopy. BLT had cheese in it? Was just a little disappointed

Very nice ambiance. Friendly workers. I'm picky with my coffee and thought the coffee was delicious! I got the Churro Latte and my mom got the Freddo. Both very good. I love coming here for their farmhouse breakfast sandwich. The bread is so soft, cheesy eggs, bacon, and hash brown. For lunch their crispy chicken wrap with honey mustard is unmatched. I have tried to order it at other places and it?s no where near the same. I even used to work here and know exactly how they make it and i still can?t make it as good at home.

Stopped by for breakfast on our way to Shady Maple and this turned out to be a wonderful experience and a destination. It's a counter service and everything is made fresh. This was our first time visiting and we loved it! It is a hidden gem. The cheese is delicious. They offered samples and it was great because they were pre-wrapped in mini containers so you did not have to worry about everyone touching them. We tried the fried cheese curds and loved them! We also got some chocolate bark to go. My only regret is that we didn't get more!

Recommended by a friend. What a cute gem in honey brook. We went there for ice cream and tarts. A small play area. Ample of parking a farm with domestic animal and benches located just right to take a break and breathe. The shop has everything you can also watch live cheese making from a window. Yet to try out their sandwiches coming again and again.

I used to love this place. It was amazing. As they've gotten busier quality has drop significantly. Sandwiches keep coming out burnt. My absolute favorite thing I've ever eaten their fried cheese curds have been ruined with this awful breading that has completely ruin the flavor. I used to go here once a week to every other week. But now I go very rarely and I'm extremely disappointed in the quality drop. Please bring back the original way the cheese curds were made.

Was not expecting this place to be so busy when we went, but I can see why! You can find just about any specialty cheese flavors you may be looking for here along with a vast array of other local snacks and goods.

Yes, the snacks & food here are very good, but go for the cheese! The wide range of hand-made cheeses is tremendous. Beautifully wrapped in sealed packages that are perfect for keeping in your fridge. We've been coming here for years. We bring an ice-chest because it's a long drive home. The cheese have real flavor. Unlike locally bought supermarket cheese, these are different strong, moist & fresh. If you're in the area, go here, & let yourself be tempted.

Stopped in for mozzarella, Gouda, pepper jack and provolone and as always left with that and and baked goods, trail mix and cookies. A wonderful place worth the trip, prices are good. I haven?t had lunch there yet but the food looks great as well.

I?ve been coming for years..They make their own cheese so that is excellent. I subtracted a star for their icecream. They don?t make it, it has a LOT of ingredients including artificial dyes and corn syrup ?? coffee shop which is just so so and you can?t get heavy cream. I'm honestly just thoroughly disgusted in this place. Used to really like coming here especially for breakfast because they apparently only know how to make a good breakfast? This farmers market/restaurant is a fun family spot to stop for lunch and snacks. It had a good variety of cheeses, pastry?s and snacks. And the restaurant had good quality food. There was a good amount of seating.

I love September Farm. The food Is good. The environment is relaxing.the employees are always friendly and have a smile on their face. I?m there a lot so I?m part of the rewards club. Which I encourage you to do if you?re there as often as I am!

The place is great. It has a lot of neat food items, excellent cheese being one of their features. You can watch the cheese being made if you come at the right time. The deli type food area has sandwiches and hamburgers and many other items. They have daily specials. The environment is pleasant and homey which makes it a pleasant place to shop and eat. This place is way to expensive .we ordered three toasted ham and cheese, coast 11.99 a piece. There was hardly any meat on the them at all. We basically paid 36 dollars for bread. I don't mind paying money for a good product but 12 dollars for a toasted ham and cheese sandwich is ridiculous. I will say there breakfast sandwiches are a little cheaper and you get way more for your money. They just want way to much for lunch and dinner.

We had an excellent lunch here and then also took home some wonderful cheeses and baked goods. The place is amazing and the people are friendly. Everything is so clean.

I did not get to go inside, but it was worth stopping to look at the sunflower field and pet the goats. I will definitely have to come back when they are open.!

We?ve visited once before for items from the bakery, today we visited specifically for caffeine. The Pumpkin Chocolate Breve with an extra double shot was superb! I look forward to trying the drip coffee next time!

We have enjoyed visiting their establishment since they first opened. The quality of their food is second to none. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Wonderful experience here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I was bracing myself for a packed house at 8AM, but was pleasantly surprised to see it fairly empty. And our food came out very quickly and was amazing. The toasted rolls for the breakfast sandwich was top-notch. And as always had to get some donuts, and they are tops??

What an attractive store, outside and inside! They serve hot and cold sandwiches, soups, fries... For lunch and supper. They also have lots of food items that you can buy to go. The ice cream was amazing and I can highly recommend peanut butter overload. Just be warned that the medium size is actually quite large ???? I tried a pretzel cone but would stick with regular or waffle cone the next time. They have a lovely closed in porch area for extra seating. Great customer service too.

Staying with the wife in Honey Brook for "get out of town/birthday trip" and stopped in on a couple of occasions. Gorgeous, well maintained, nicely decorated and friendly staff. The deli sandwiches are great!! Had a toasted roast beef and cheddar and it was fantastic!! The cheese curds are to die for!! We got a small box with tarts and cookies... oh my gosh! The pumpkin caramel tart and the Boston creme pie tarts are so good!! When we come back for a visit we will definitely be back!!!

September Farm Cheese is a lovely place to stop for a home-cooked meal and to enjoy a beautifully decorated, interior country market. Many food items are made on site; cheese, yogurt, baked goods, and ice cream. And, if you want a good cup of coffee this is the place. This is my second time visiting and will not be my last. This place was beautiful, the food was great and the baked goods are worth the trip from philadelphia, plenty of parking and a clean bathroom after cutting down a christmas tree nearby we decided to check them out and I'm happy we did, the staff was so great definitely our new family lunch spot during the trip up here.

The merchandise side has all the great tasting cheese with so many verities made right in store. They sell kitchen supplies to help you cook and make your house look pretty. Don't forget to checkout the ice cream side of the store for a yummy a treat with a selection of flavours to choose from. September Farm will definitely give you a taste of Pennsylvania.

The breakfast sandwiches are really good. I had not been there in several years and it must be more than 10 since I left Chester County in 2015.

So many cheeses & dips!!! They have a cheese room in the back where you can see racks and racks and racks of cheese wheels, so you know the cheese is fresh! They?re also surprisingly cheap. This place is definitely worth a visit. I also signed up for their email subscription and since then received tons of deals & sale info for cheese & meats for shipping. People working in the store were very friendly and helpful. I would visit again if I?m in the area.

We passed this cute place on our way home from Lanchester. What a find! The grilled cheese sandwiches looked yummy! I got the fish fry dinner. It was a big meal for a small price. Very good market!!! The sandwhich shop offered delicious sandwiches and soups! They even had a kids meal with smiley faces of potatoes. We ordered chicken wrap and turkey sandwiches. Taste was great and fresh. The market has a lot of unique organic foods such as a good variety of cheeses which the market makes their own cheese. Workers are very customer oriented and always nearby to assist you. Highly recommend it if you are around. They only thing is that they close 8 pm.

Mennonite owned and a little pricey...Since I used to go to the actual farm!!! To get my goods..But I guess,they have to pay the overhead..Food IS AMAZING,sandwiches....and of course the many cheese s..And it's just a Beautiful well decorated store....Def. worth the visit.

Such a fun place to visit. It was pretty busy on a Friday afternoon. But I got an amazing grilled Reuben, so it was worth it. The side of fries was a little small. I might order an extra portion next time. Lots of amazing desserts and ice creams, too!

I have been there twice already. I like the atmosphere and the many many options and choices to gaze upon while shopping. The cafe and menu choices are plentiful. The only thing I have a small problem with is the flies and bugs while relaxing and dining. Maybe a bug zapper of some kind would be an idea inside and outside especially with the doors constantly opening during hours. Thanks for all your hard work.

I love their sandwiches. A big plus for me is the ability to get gluten-free bread. They also have a small selection of gluten free items in their Bakery. They have an amazing variety of cheeses.

We used to love this place. We are locals. But unfortunately we?ve watched the prices go up and portion size go down. We ordered a side of breakfast potatoes and the now the container was smaller then previous visit AND was half full!! Price is up though. I watched them fill a container with outsourced precooked bacon. Worse quality bigger prices. Guess the tourist don?t know better?. so it?s ok.

Apples, pumpkins, seasonal decorations, very friendly, helpful staff. They have an apple cannon and a target to hit. The alpaca farmers had a stand selling hand woven alpaca scarves and hats with two alpacas to visit. Lots to do!

We stumbled across this place and we're so glad we did! What a find! Their food is homemade and incredible. Service is very good and everyone is very pleasant. We went back again on a Friday night and it was well-attended. Guess everyone knows where to get good food! Ice cream and cheeses and treats are very good as well. Definitely worth a visit!

September farms is not only an attraction for tourists to Lancaster county, but it?s a great spot for locals to get baked good, ice cream or visit the cafe. The expanded seating area is very needed as even on a Friday night the crowds are large. The food is all excellent! Some of the local products they sell can be found cheaper at other local locations, but it?s a great stop for tourists to try a variety of products at once. September farms is always clean and well taken care of. It?s a gem!
