The wonderful ladies at this bakery made personalized cookies for my son's percussion ensemble when we were in town for the WGI competition. The kids and the ensemble have them as a treat after they competed and preliminary round of competition. They were so excited to see their names written on a cookie. I have been coming to Schuler's since I was a child. Anytime I am in town to visit family, I stop in and buy donuts for breakfast with my family. I will always support Schuler's bakery any time I visit. They are the best, hands down

Was looking for a local bakery as we were driving through town and happened to see this so stopped by and was pleased with the selection. They have a good variety of donuts and cookies as well as cakes. The donuts are very rich and tasty and enjoyable. The cookies were quite delicious as well. If you're looking for a bakery it would be hard to go wrong with this one.

Customer service was not that friendly and did not accommodate needs for bigger parties. Yes, they had plenty of donuts yet, during checkout no bags to keep the donuts fresh. Do not expect any sprinkled donuts either homemade yes but mostly filled and glazed type of assortments. I was not impressed with the service at all. It seemed like they were rushing me to pick. Really good donuts for a very reasonable price. This place could easily be a 5-star bakery with a little bit of a makeover.

I have always heard admiration for Shuler's but this was my first visit. The doughnuts were fantastic and the coffee was even better than I'd hoped! Glad I ended up there and I look forward to returning!

Beautiful and clean location, with good Customer service. Unfortunately when we arrived they didn't have any of the donuts we were looking for. They did have some plain glazed and donut holes, but nothing I was hunkering for. Timing wasn't good, it was later in the day.

Got in and out . Good selection of donuts. Got a chocolate cream filled with barely any cream inside it and the whole wheat donuts fell apart in the box.

Donuts was amazing but one staff in particular was very rude and disrespectful i felt judge as I ordered my order.

Called and ordered a cake having never ordered one before. I assumed the cake would come with some form of basic decoration. I told her it was for a birthday. She never asked any follow up questions other than what size and type and all that. Just picked up the cake and it?s so ugly. It has no decoration at all. No piping or anything. I asked them if they could put some on and they said they have no cake decorator in today. Wonderful. Now I have this ugly cake to present for my mom?s birthday party.

Been eating this my entire life ( pushing 50 years). Still drive in from out of town to get it a couple times a year. Taste has not changed that I can tell and there's nothing like it. Best doughnuts anywhere.

Wow!! These are some of the best donuts you can find anywhere! My favorite is the raspberry filled. We love the chocolate covered donuts with custard, the maple donuts, and of course the original glazed. You can?t go wrong!

Workers immediately welcomed us and asked if we needed help. Inside is pretty basic and they had a lot to choose from. On this visit we only got cookies and donuts. The donuts are not too my liking, too much"frosting" very thick. I don't remember which cookies we picked but they were okay. I believe this place is more a cake place. We will come back to try the cakes.

I wont be buying donuts for a while. Past 3 times I've been in the cream filled and jelly filled donuts, only a small half gulf ball size spot of filling in them. Hasn't been meeting the expectations of what I would buy from them in the past.

I used to LOVE Schulers growing up and well into my early 30's. I bragged that the best donuts came from my hometown. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Other donuts couldn't hold a candle to these donuts. I picked up donuts for my coworkers and some extra goodies for me to take home. Easily one of the best deals around. I got cookies, donuts, and a muffin...everything was delicious. I did filled- to die for, blueberry and strawberry ?? so very good. Got a tour and it's beautiful, clean and everything is made from scratch. Perfect

Friendly service. Dont like the price increase on everything. Miss the cream horns and strawberry danish. Not the same as they were in the past....

My only complaint is that I always leave with more than what I intended to buy. I always see something I either like or want to try. The doughnut holes are outstanding as always and the staff when I'm there is always seem happy to be there which isn't as common in the restaurant/retail business as it should be. I definitely buy too much from Schuler's but it tastes good ??

Our son picked up cream filled and Bavarian filled chocolate donuts this weekend. I swear each one weighed half a pound~absolutely filled with cream and absolutely delicious. We live 3+hours north but will definitely be back. Thank you ??

DONUTS ARE SO GOOD THAT THEY SPOILED ME FOR ALL OTHERS AND ALL OTHER BAKERYS IN GENERAL FOR LIFE. SADLY IM A COUPLE HOURS AWAY NOW AND DONT MAKE IT BACK NEARLY ENOUGH.

Used to have these at my job at the Urgent Care. The owner was seen at the urgent care and was one of the rudest patients. I would never recommend this man's business and his hard stale doughnuts. What comes around goes around!!

Everything I have ever eaten from Schuler's has been top quality and delicious!! The donuts are better now than in the past; less greasy and more flavorful! The pumpkin cookies and red velvet donuts in the fall are my favorites, and I highly recommend trying them! If you don't like very sweet things, anything with frosting may be a bit much because the frosting is all very sweet. Make sure to get your food in the morning so it's fresh!

We saw reviews and decided we had to stop and try some fresh bakery goods as a sweet treat. We are so glad we did..... Their cookies, old fashion donuts, and cupcakes are some of the best we have ever had. My daughter thought this place was awesome and would have loved one of everything. You can tell everything was made fresh with great ingredients. I highly recommend you make this a stop if in this town. Super cool bakery...... One of the best we have eaten! Grew up with Schuler's. Taste the same which is great. Not enough donuts and too many cookies. Also, could use a fountain drink system. Service was quick. 10% discount for seniors or AAA or golden buckeye. I can't remember, but you will need to show your card. A good visit back to the past.

Being closed on Sundays and Mondays was already a bad business move considering those are the busiest days of the week. But to be closed on Memorial Day during the parade is stupid so many people have tried to get donuts this morning and pulled up to a closed sign. DO BETTER

Fresh and tasty, as always. I work at the Dayton Mall and bought a variety of donuts to bring in for my coworkers. Everyone was satisfied and wanted to know where they came from!

Definitely not what it used to be. Still good...definitely not great anymore...and you pretty much need to take loans out if you need to buy a dozen of donuts which is ridiculous. Used to be the "go to" if having an early morning event but they have changed their taste, not much is actually made there fresh now days, and they definitely changed their prices. Wouldn't have been like this 30years ago. Sometimes change....isn't better.....even when the world around you is changing.

I love this place. However the young girls working in there were pretty rude. And one started bocking like a chicken to me. No hi's no thank you's no come again's. Just bock bock Bock. ????? Almost every store I went to are closing. London, Urbana and the one on main. Please don't let employees like this ruin a good thing for us. I need this place in my life.

The apple fritters were the best and most unique fritters I've ever had! Be prepared to not eat lunch later in the day if you try the eat the whole thing because these fritters are huge! The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Kids took over and the steady decline has followed over the last 10 years. Been eating them all my life and now sadly I?d prefer a fresh speedway doughnut to these. Go in at 6am and doughnuts still taste like they?re day olds. Used to eat here couple times a week. Down to a couple times a year anymore. Great donuts. When a Dunkin donuts goes right next to them, that says they want to compete with the best bc a lot of people go there. Staff is always nice. Those who say it's going downhill obviously have alternative reasons for trying to make them seem horrible. Cookies are great to.

We purchased a dozen chocolate cupcakes with white frosting and the only thing good about them was the frosting! The cake part was dry and fell apart when you took them out of the cupcake paper. We also bought cream filled doughnuts that barely had any cream in them. We have purchased from here on numerous occasions and have never had anything this disappointing!

The donuts here are always fresh, and the staff are very nice. The donuts are delicious, and I would definitely recommend trying them out if you have never had them, they're a very well-known local bakery that has been around for a very long time, and there's a reason for it.

This is a popular Springfield bakery. It's weird that there are no reviews. People like their butterfly cookies. I think that the frosting on the cakes, cupcakes and so forth all taste the same. Kinda greasy. Not good. But the staff is always great. But everything considered...They have GINGERBREAD MEN!!!

I went in on a Wednesday night after Bible study and order a few donuts and I wanted to order a cake. I was told just one minute tge girl that writes up the cake order was outside. I waited at least 10 minutes, finally the girl that was inside said I will write up the order although I haven't written up one. The new main bakery on South Limestone looks and feels very cold and uninviting. It's a very large room and everything is white and bland. I love their products. But if i were a not from the area I'd be more enticed to go to Tim Hortons next door.

Schuler's used to be the best in town, but NOT anymore!!! I called today to get a 1/4 sheet cake ordered for a birthday and they will no longer take orders as you can only get what they make and have in the store. I try to support local, but they have gone WAY downhill. I guess I will order from a big chain like Kroger or Wal-Mart as they will take a specialty order!!! The donuts are ok and most of the time they are under cooked. They don't taste much different than Kroger or Meijier brand donuts. Jolly Pirate is still the best real homemade donuts!

What do you mean how was schuler's bakery? Schuler's bakery is awesome. I'm going to her family's house for Thanksgiving and I screwed up a few years ago and brought donuts from schuler's. Now every time we go up the entire family puts in their schuler's order like they don't have bakeries in Cleveland.

Best. Bakery. Ever. I haven't found donuts or cakes anywhere in a 50 mile radius that can come close. Their masterpiece IMO is their chocolate buttercream. It dries with an incredibly thin shell on the outside, staying creamy and luscious underneath, and never feels too buttery or oily. You can get a nice dose of it on a chocolate bismark donut, but it's also part of many other treats. You can find dozens (?) of donut flavors every day, al fresh and made in the store. Their apple fritters are different. I don't know how to say that but they're different. But most of their donuts are really good they're just extremely heavy! But you know pretty yummy too lol

I was given a dozen cup cakes from here as a favor from a friend. And they were the worst things ive ever tried. What was once a great bakery has now become sub par and is just trending on its name from the past. Its sencond rate, I'd rather have a any thing over one of there over priced under quality cakes. save your money, go any place elese.

I am from Cleveland, Ohio and I have never had better donuts in my life. My son attends Wittenberg University and we try to get to Schuler's often. I will be coming down again before Thanksgiving to grab some of your apple fritters to take home. Schuler's bakery ROCKS!!

Was surprised they did not offer bread, buns, or croissants. They did have a good selection of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and donuts. Drinks in a bottle are available as well as coffee. Very clean inside

Very friendly staff. Fabulous baked goods and homemade noodles. But, I was sad not to be able to get the dinner rolls. Apparently they only make them during the holidays.

I love this place been going since childhood. Moved to kentucky, nothing like schulers could be found. Were back in town now so we support our local bakery we love.

My favorite donut is the Blueberry cake donut, but the buckeye donut was really good too. They have cakes, cupcakes amd cookies here too, but I haven't tried them yet.

Been going here since I was a little kid and tonight I experienced something I never thought I would there I was next in line and waiting to order and a lady behind me was served first over me and felt I was singled out because of my race as the server and lady was of same race I was in shock as I never experienced reverse racism and this was the last place I would expect it from

The icing on the cookies are super sweet, because there's a lot, because they're decorative. But, they are SO GOOD!

Spent $14.50 on a dozen donuts and t he cream filling was spoiled or the diugh was soured. Really sucks since can't afford but once a in awhile.

It took me 20 years to come back and get these! Better than Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts and anything else produced with machines. Hand made, each and everyone, and the flavor shows it. Just bomb!

When I use to live in Dayton I use to make the drive to schuelers just for the Buckeye Doughnut. It is an intoxicating rush of sugar that will make you want another.

Been going to this bakery since I was a child. Even after moving to California in 1993. I find a way to still enjoy Butterfly cookies, my favorite!

This was my first visit to the bakery and it was a good one I explained it was my first visit and they was super great.they explained what they have and help me and my son and prices was very reasonable.
