This place is a diamond. Everything morsel of deliciousness comes out of their kitchen. These people have mastered the art of donuts and pastries. I stumbled in here one morning after a nearby appointment, not expecting much, and I was blown away. The combination of taste and price gets 5 stars across the board for me. This is my first online order with Sam?s Donut Shop on the Door Dash App. I ordered the Ham and Swiss Cheese Bagel Sandwich. The price was $7.00. Then I ordered 5 Assorted Donuts. These donuts were One Creme Cheese Croissant, One Blueberry Croissant, One Lemon Jelly Donut, One Maple Bar and one Chocolate Covered Round Donut. The total cost I spent was $22.87. This Ham and Swiss Cheese Bagel was very delicious. These 5 assorted donuts were also really yummy.
I love this little donut shop in Oceanside. They have the perfect, classic donuts. Especially the cake donuts with rainbow sprinkles and the cinnamon rolls pictured here. Sorry I didn't get more pics...

Sam?s donuts have the best Apple fritters and cinnamon rolls around this area!! We tried others in Oceanside and nothing compares!! We?ve been coming here since 2010. We had moved to Texas back in 2018 and couldn?t find Apple fritters like Sam?s Donuts!! We were very disappointed! Only place in Oceanside that?s truly authentic donuts. Donuts are always fresh, the sandwiches are always delicious as well, and for a quick boba fix, they got that too. Never had one bad visit here. Frequent doordash customer of Sam?s. Absolutely love it.

The key areas that they could upgrade are a lack of flaky or crunchy premium products and a good chocolate donut. Their chocolate icing they use on top is at best of medium low quality grade. I always go to Sam's for my fresh donuts, they make great Donuts! The plaza that their in have alot of other stores to visit and the barber next door has been cutting my hair for three years now and the kids are always excited to see me with donuts after my hair cut!
All the way from Iowa, I was looking for a local donut shop. I had what looked like their cinnimon roll. It was to this day, the best cinnimon roll I have had in my life!!!! The dough was that of a glazed donut, it was swirled and baked perfectly. Not too doughy in the center, and was moist throughout! Best little hole-in-the-wall donut shop ever. Great value.
Small little shop that has really good ham and cheese croissants. The coffee is good. The only reason that I give it 3 due to the small location and also 3/4 of the times homeless people are hanging outside the location.

Been ordering via doordash recently, and their food is fantastic. Their apple fritters are outstanding, the (huge) bear claws are great, along with any of their other donuts I've tried.

This morning I had a creaving for a lemon filled doughnut with powder sugar on top my favorite. I was so sad that they had none on display. The cashier turned around and asked one of the girl to make me one in the back. I felt so greatful. They made my day while I was stuck doing laundry with an amazing lemon doughnut and coffee.
