We ordered on DoorDash and I am so happy we did. The egg and cheese croissant is my new favorite breakfast sandwich. The croissant was buttery and flaky, the egg was fried to perfection with just the right amount of pepper, and the American cheese brought it all together. We also got chocolate donut holes and two specialty donuts. I legit did a little dance when I saw the donut holes were glazed and drizzled with chocolate. Why have I never had these before? Lovely family-owned location with fantastic food. Better kolaches than major chains and extremely creative tasty donuts. I always use them for business meetings or guests at home! Update: Still great! Still wonderful customer service and kindness. There are 3 locations and this is still the best!
Sak?s Donuts is a must for early beautiful morning bite. My daughter love their donut holes. The service is always quick and very polite. The menu is very interesting, you will be totally satisfied with whatever is edible.
Ordered their "jumbo" kolaches only to be met with lil itty bitty sized kolaches. Tastes good but should not be called jumbo at all. Very misleading.

This is one of the best donut joints I?ve ever been to. Their croissants are fantastic and the staff is extremely friendly. I go there to enjoy good bakery almost every single day.
Service is incredibly friendly. They always have a smile on their face and give you a good-natured "good morning". They have these big croissants sandwiches (not like the tiny ones from popular chains). I asked if they had any meat-free ones, and they guy helping me went to the back and made me one because they didn't have any on display. He also gave me a discount because it had one less ingredient. It was delicious and tasted homemade! I highly recommend paying this place a visit.

Really good. Way better prices than their competitors. They are always busy and have really yummy boudin kolaches. They also have pulled pork kolaches but they've been sold out the last 2 weeks in a row by the time I get there on Saturday. The owners are really nice and the donuts taste fresh.
Best donut place I've been to in Houston. Nothing comes close. Not Shipleys donuts or Krispy cremes. Their kolaches are very tasty as well. It's a must try! The owner is super friendly and genuine!
I Had already eaten breakfast but was craving a donut. Found this place via Google. It is tucked in an out of the way strip center. I asked to sample a donut hole after my bad experience a few minutes earlier with the place around the corner facing FM 1960. I wasn't taking any chances buying a dozen first. The manager(possibly owner) was very friendly and very soft spoken and polite. The donut hole was great and I got a dozen, next time I will try more items.
Been in Houston for about 10 months & Saks is the best donut shop I been to from Cali to Houston hands down my favorite donut shop! Not just the donuts but the people who work in there are kind and friendly never turning down conversation

I have never purchased anything less than perfection from Sak?s! Before the pandemic I was a regular customer, (?The Chocolate Donut Lady?) placing my order by phone a day or two before my monthly Saturday morning meeting. The friendly owners went out of their way to make sure my order was packed up and ready to go the moment I arrived. And the donuts and breakfast items were excellent - never any leftovers!

Whoa! Their kolache he is AmAziNg. The best in Houston. I'm back to update my review. Yes, I still eat here for over a year now! I swear everything they touch is gold. Their croissants are soo good too. I order one plain, not as a sandwich. Anyway!! I don't eat here EVERY day, sometimes a taco sounds good. One day I didn't have any salt and pepper and my husband wanted kolaches so when we stopped in he asked if they had any. They didn't but she had a spices mix I could try and put some in a little containe
The Chinese woman (cashier), is Very jealous of her husband, whom she makes work in the back. She comes off as sweet, but she is very condescending & rude. They can't keep any employees because of her controlling insecure behaviors. She tries to boss the husband and customers around, yet the husband's customer service skills are 1000% better than hers. She needs to go to the Back. (I seen nats around food area as well)
This is my go to breakfast spot, the croissant sandwiches are always fresh and homemade, donuts are fluffy and delicious, and the kolaches are to die for! Not to mention the service is always impeccable! Support your local businesses!

I much prefer over places like Dunkin or Shipley. The staff is really friendly and remember you and interact with you making you feel welcomed. And the food is always top notch at better prices. I'm a sucker for good donuts and theirs are some of the best I tasted. I recommend this place to anyone.
Service was very good. Got a dozen, 2 of each kind (cinnamon sugar, cake, chocolate glazed, reg. glazed, blueberry, buttermilk). Every single donut was really good. Definitely coming back here more often.

Really great boudin kolache! I would give 5 stars but he gave me the wrong donut by accident. I was sad when I opened the bag and realized it wasn't the one I pointed at. But, everything else was great!
