The donuts are huge , probably best I've ever had. I can usually eat 1/2 a dozen where as I only ate 2 here but they were awesome!
I have been a customer of SK Donuts for several years. The doughnuts keep getting better year after year. The business is owned by a lovely, hard working family. They are polite and always seem to appreciate their customers. They often throw in a free doughnut or two with my purchase. My favorites are the apple fritters and the glazed old fashion doughnuts. They even have a drive thru for your convenience.
When I ordered the cinnamon roll, I bit into the middle and it was dripping oil. I wish I had a picture of the Apple fritter I received as well, I squeezed the fritter with my finger and had a pile of oil on my plate and had to throw it away. Some of their items are okay. One day I bought a sausage kolache and it was stale / dry and tasted 2 days old. It?s a hit or miss with this place. I just don?t want a mouth full of oil when I bite into a fritter.

This place is the hole in the donut. Thier donuts are the bees knees. Yes at times I feel rushed, but when I get home and sink my teeth into a warm delicious round heaven cake made by Athena her self. All my care sink into their dark abyss and for that moment, I am in pure serenity. I would and frequently return for what can be described as donut perfection.

Some of the freshest, best tasting donuts I've ever had. They melt in your mouth. We bought the plain, chocolate dipped, and an apple fritter. No variance in freshness. We also bought kolaches. They too were extremely fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend this little shop.
I?ve been here a few times and was pleased. However today the lady was very rude. While I was in the drive thru she told me to come inside and pick my donuts and shut the window in my face before I could even say anything. All because I asked for a mixed half a dozen donuts. Now mind you I had a very simple order. Same thing I ordered the week prior. Then proceeds to take another order. My momma went back home to visit our family and picked up a dozen fritters and a dozen coffee rolls. They were safely and securely delivered 1200 miles away, minus a couple for the road trip. They are still fresh 2 days later. You just cant find quality donut shops like this in virginia! Everything is fancy or wanna be fancy like fractured prune or duck donuts, it's a shame!
Today made my 3rd time going to SK Donuts and the first two times I was waited on by the male that worked there. I really enjoyed their donuts and croissants. So delicious. I don't normally eat donut, but I'd thought I'd grab a felly jelly donuts to eat with my Chinese food from next door for lunch. I got the raspberry jelly donut and an eclair that had caramel instead of chocolate icing. They were AMAZING. The donuts we're cooked just right. Not sure where the SK Donut hate is coming from lately (Jun 18) but we've been coming here for over a year and are still always pleased. The donuts are great and well priced (but as noted you'll need to spend five dollars to use credit) and the owners/workers have always been friendly.

Better take cash cause the min on card is $5 I asked them if they would make an exception since this was my first visit and I got a very stern NO. The glazed donuts had a funny taste to them like maybe the grease was old or remnants of a cleaner used to clean their fryer I don't want anymore donuts from this place but the 2 mild kolaches I got were really good Wish I had bought $5 worth of them.

It's not a hard competition between S.K. and any other name-brand donut, ones like Krispy Kreme and Southern Maid. S.K. wins by a long shot, incredible donuts, incredible kolaches, and incredible service. Owned by a great and hard-working family. Overall the best donut place I've ever been to.
I had a maple bar. It was a pillowy, mapley, cloud-like goodness! The spouse said the blueberry cake donuts were good too.
Bad customer service. The vietnamese lady was rude to customers, unpleasant, and didnt know how to smile. Customer service is everything to me. I almost walked out of there because of her attitude. I will not come back. The donuts looks good and fresh that's why they get 3 stars
Love there donuts!! The owners there are always nice and in great high spirits, welcoming every customer with a smile. They always throw in a couple of donuts for free when I go in which is AWESOME!!
Well, they won't be getting my business or recommendations anymore. Improve the way you communicate. That may improve your rateing. I should clarify, it had to do with me being "shooed" away well before the place was closed per the posted hours
