Good donuts. And I'm not sure what it's called but I got a spicy chicken ( I'm going to say kolache) and it was really good. Pic attached.
I drove way out here to be disappointed. Didn?t have no donut selection I didn?t get the free donut holes and the lady was not clear on prices at all keep in mind I came at 9:55 am this usually my go to place but not anymore would give this place 0 stars?
Hubby picked up for door dash and the owner gave him donut holes for free. He also ordered a half of dozen of the kolache?s with sausage and bacon, both were delicious! This was our first time eating here will definitely order again.
Went here this morning and it was great! the kolaches were a little smaller than normal but they tasted really good. I always get an old fashion donut and the one I had here was the best i've had in Denton. The owner is really nice and I she gave me a couple extra donuts just to try!
This has become my new favorite donut shop, since Ozzy's in Lake Dallas changed ownership. The glazed donuts, which I rarely choose, are amazing! They will let you find this out by giving you a few donut holes every time! They absolutely melt in your mouth. I always judge a donut shop by their apple fritter. And this place does it very well. Actual pieces of apple, believe it or not! And a little bit crispy, a little bit crunchy, and just the right pull apart texture.
It gets Expensive quick . It's okay tho
They have the best an creative donuts in town. The people there are so friendly and always smiling. I'll be going there for years to come.
I'm surprised about the negative reviews so I thought I would leave one. I am in love with the sausage jalopeano thing they have, so yummy. The donuts are great. The service is fine, obviously english is a second language, but I have never gotten the feeling the lady is unfriendly. She seems very nice and helpful.
Was told how good this place was and drove here from Decatur. Just disappointed they didn't update times for the week. Thank you for the reply. I will be back on a different day!

Super nice people, good prices and DELICIOUS donuts.
HORRIBLE customer service. The lady acted like she was very inconvienced. I felt rushed and unwelcome. The donuts were decent, but not worth the service. Plenty of other exceedingly kind shops in town that also give you complimentary donuts, which this one lacks. I will not be returning here ever again.
Not a very pleasant place. As I have tried almost every donut place in Denton, I'm truly disappointed with SJ donuts. The customer service lacked by far. The lady behind the counter seemed kind da annoyed that she had to wait on my children to decide. Being that I have taught them they need to order for themselves. She just didnt seem very nice. I love the big kolaches with the jalapenos on it. They went great with a bottle of milk and orange juice. Not at the same time. I'll stop by here on several occasions.
What a great place! Running deliveries to make ends meet and upon picking up they give the drivers a snack (donut holes). This is the way. Little things that make the world a better place.
