An amazing mom and pop shop! There are a variety of flavored donuts - cake and yeast! There are also kolaches and other pastries as well. It seems like a hole in the wall and it?s absolutely worth the visit!! There?s also seating and parking. The staff is so friendly and helpful!!

This is quite the hidden gem. Friendly, delicious, and fast. Hole in the wall shop that reminds me of all the best mom and pop donut places in the Midwest. So happy to have found. They are light, yummy, and don?t make you feel sick after you eat. Will be regularly frequenting this shop. Especially loved the blueberry cake one.

Finally!!! Since moving here a few years ago from San Diego- with amazing donuts on every corner, surrendered to the reality of no good donuts in Austin. Finally my dreams are answered after going to SH! It?s just like home. Every bite is perfect. Will be back (too often)

I come here 2-5x a week. Breakfast tacos & kolaches are top tier, with so many options to choose from. And donuts are delicious!! The owner is so sweet and it?s always a great way to start my day coming here. :)

I have been going to this donut shop for the past 7 years. The donuts and kolaches are incredible. They have kolaches without cheese!!! This is a win for my wife who prefers them with just sausage and roll. They also have a great ham/Swiss croissant The owner is absolutely amazing and truly as well. Wow! Walking into this place on a random Tuesday morning, my nose was immediately greeted by the most amazing aromas of freshness and love! My absolute favorite donut shop. Every time my girlfriend and I come in we are greeted and welcomed. We don?t know the shop owner?s name, but every time we stop by she always makes sure to make us feel at home. She even throws in a freebie for us every visit. She is the kind of person to bring joy and light up any room. Always shows gratitude to every customer as well. Couldn?t recommend this place more. The iced coffee and thai teas also always hit the spot just right.

I love SH Donuts! My family has been going there for years & it's by far our favorite donut shop. There's always a great selection & the donuts are pillowy & delicious. We like to get a dozen donuts to go & sausage, jalape?o & cheese kolaches to eat on the car ride home. This is a family run place & it's homey & friendly. They always remember us & are happy to see us back. Great donuts, nice people - it's a happy place!

Great glazed and heavenly kolache.... seriously so good. Quick service, friendly, great selection. Only downside...the donut holes were not as good as Donut 7 on Burnet.

Highly recommend! SH is a fantastic neighborhood donuts shop with a loyal following. In addition to donuts, SH has really good kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, tacos and boudin sausage. The owners are the nicest people. Truly. They have relationships with their customers and always make you feel welcomed.

The donuts were absolutely delicious! Soft and moist and fried to perfection. The glazed donut had the right amount of sweetness to it, not over powering at all. It was light as air. The blueberry and apple crumb cake donuts were surprisingly light to the taste not really thick like your traditional cake donuts are. It?s a plus really because you can eat more of them ??. Some of the best donuts I?ve had in a long time.

Bought a good ol glaze. Lightest, airy-est donut I've ever eaten. But still doesn't top my favorite place in South Austin: KC donuts. Definitely beat Shipley's and Dunkin though. If I lived close, I'd frequent this place.

First time here today. It?s a bit out of my way but I wanted good donuts and it had good reviews. This place is great. The staff or owners I?m assuming were so incredibly friend and so efficient. The donuts are delicious, great selection of hot breakfast sandwiches and kolaches and great prices. I got half a dozen of random donuts, a croissant sandwich and an orange juice for $13. Will definitely be coming back.

When we travel we usually stay at an Airbnb so we can be lazy and comfortable in the morning. Nothing is better to help than getting donuts for breakfast. We don't do chains or tourist places, we like to find local mom and pop stores. Found this and we loved it. The raised donuts were light with a nice crisp to them (think a better quality Krispy Kreme) and the cake donuts were moist and flavorful. Find this place next time you are in Austin.

If y'all haven't tried SH Donuts on Manor road it's definitely a must try. The donuts are fresh and delectable. We also tried the bear claws. Sooo good y'all. The customer service is wonderful. I love the kolaches The bread taste like a sweet Hawaiian bread which makes the kolache so delicious. This place gets a little busy but the service is quick. They will get you in and out in a pleasant and professional way.

Mine and my grandson's favorite - the best apple fritters and my grandson loves that chocolate muffin and sausage cheese croissant. Update: Still our favorite! SH Donuts is literally my number one breakfast/donut spot. Not only is it more affordable than majority of other breakfast spots in austin, but the customer service is amazing which is rare to see nowadays. The food is great and the lady (i?m not sure if she?s the owner or not) has always been so sweet to us and other customers:) definable would recommend to everyone!

So, I recently moved to Austin and to find a solid basic donut place is hard. If you want those donuts from your childhood where there is nothing crazy just basic solid donuts this is it. It's not a huge place but it's perfect for your donut cravings. The owners are nice and friendly even when it's busy. Definitely a new donut staple for my family.

Ahhh. Light, fluffy, delicious pastries. Coming here is like an early morning oasis. The service is so friendly and welcoming they need to teach classes on customer service to the rest of Austin. The atmosphere is homey. This is a real shop with real people. When I'm at the end of the line, I'll know this shop will be with me in my darkest of times.

They have great donuts that taste amazing, are incredibly nice, and are also very efficient despite the morning rush. We actually slowed them down by not having our order completely figured out yet. It's in a slightly sketchy area but you'd never guess it by the staff. Strongly suggest this place, especially if you live near by, you'll bring the best damn box of donuts the office has ever seen.

I've given SH Donuts two chances, and both times have been disappointing. On my most recent visit, they got my order wrong, which is frustrating when you're expecting a simple box of donuts. What's worse is that they were advertising products on their menu that wasn't even available, despite the fact that they had just opened at 6 am for the day. I enjoy S&H Donuts on a regular basis, and folks at my office always like when I bring in a mix of their donuts or kolaches. Their croissant sandwiches are excellent as well! When there is a line, it moves very quickly. Also, the family who run S&H are outstandingly friendly and welcoming!

We were greeted by the very friendly host, got 2 free donuts, and they are by far the best donuts I?ve ever had. Light, fluffy, flavorful, and fresh.

We were there around 11 am. Slim pickings on donuts which is understandable. However, the inside of this place left much to be desired. There were flies in the containers with the donuts so we walked out. I didn't rate the food.

Jokes aside though, this place is exactly like the East Coast donut shops you'd go to before the millennials had to turn everything into something that's an Instagram picture and no substance. They are the nicest folks too, so come here in the morning and get yourself a donut!

I have been going to S&H for about a decade now and they are the best in town. by far. legitimate family-owned and operated business that has been in the neighborhood for as long as anyone can remember. fantastic product, fantastic service. i always leave with a smile and a few extra donut holes.

This place is a hidden gem. If you are lucky enough to enter the doors, you will be greeted with the sweetest owners and best donuts. During the winter storm power outage, we went here and were welcomed with open arms, hot coffee and extra donut holes. I love, love this place and recommend it to everyone I know! I've been in here a couple of times because it's nearby. All of the employees have always been very sweet and friendly. Great selection, even when I come in closer to their closing time. The donuts are so fluffy and perfectly sweet, and the strawberry frosted ones actually taste like strawberry! This is not the case with anywhere else I've been to. I've only had the donuts, but they have a good selection of drinks, other pastries, and iced coffee. It all looks really good and I will keep coming back!

I got a blueberry cake, a bear claw, and an Apple fritter. All we?re delicious but the Apple fritter was my favorite! Also got a coffee which tasted good, but wasn?t really hot enough. Overall great experience, the workers were so friendly and helpful. :)

So I love donuts and I had high hopes. I think this has more to do with the time I went there which was near closing. The people were so nice though. The flavor was off, donuts needed so much more flavor. And it was stale. Again probably bc of the time we went.

I really love this place. The people who own it are so friendly and I always leave with a smile. I am a vegetarian. I wish they had meatless kolaches, there is only one option and that is the potato egg and cheese tacos. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is that for the second time, I was accidentally given sausage tacos. I really wish they would keep the vegetarian tacos separately so this mistake doesn?t happen ?? it was so sad opening the bag and finding the sausage tacos instead of my usual

Love this place! I came here twice today because their kolaches are so yummy and fresh!!! They also have really soft fresh donuts! The lady at the counter is so sweet and handles lots of customers so kindly and quickly. I wanted a donut with filling and even though it didn?t have the filling I wanted she took it the back and filled it up for me and it was SO DELICIOUS! My favorite donut spot on riverside for sure! Store owner is so friendly and nice. I had to leave my dog outside of the store. She was mad at me for doing so and she barked the whole time I w?s in the store. The lady recognized it for what it was and packed me up a doggie donut for free.

I love S & H! I take all my friends and family whenever they come to visit. Co-workers love me when I bring them. Simply the best Donuts in my opinion. I do not need anything fancy. SO their basic donut menu does it for me. For me they simply melt in my mouth. I've caught myself inhaling a few within minutes. That's just the donuts! I also really like their breakfast sandwiches. For anyone who actually loves donuts! We get donuts for breakfast almost every morning on any vacation. We?ve had some of the most incredible donuts. These are NOT great. These are okay. They?re a little dry and the flavors taste really artificial. The blueberry cake tastes like fruit pebbles. The chocolate glaze is super thin cheap looking chocolate. They have the best apple fritters! Really thick and full of apples. Some fritters are thinner and can be a little tough. SH makes them soft and chewy! I want one right now!! They have a cold case with a large variety of drinks and breakfast tacos, too. There are a few tables for sitting inside. Their donut holes usually sell out quickly. This is our favorite neighborhood donut place. It is run by the sweetest people in the world. They remember our kids and often give them free donut holes. My favorite thing on the menu is the egg and sausage croissant sandwich. Heavenly.
