Came here around 10am on a Friday and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Not really sure how this place gets so many 5 star reviews. I was in town for a work trip and was told this donut place is better than any in Dallas. It is not. I don?t know how to explain these donuts. Whenever I'm in the Round Rock area, I have to stop by Round Rock Donuts. It's a must! The classic glazed is my go-to--fresh, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. You can really taste the difference. I've tried a few other flavors too, and they've all been great, but nothing beats that original. The place can get busy, but the line moves quickly, and the staff is always friendly. Definitely one of those spots that lives up to the hype.

Great donut! We got 6 donuts to share. We got glazed, maple, chocolate, cream bizmark, strawberry and one other with the cream. I really liked their glazed donut! I like the classic the best. Cream bizmark was similar to boston cream donut. Strawberry was pretty good as well. I think i would go for their glazed donut next time if i go there again or have more people to eat the texas donut together.

I was introduced to this place by an Austinite. I could not believe the lines when we arrived around 10 am on a Sunday. There were cars going around the block ordering the donuts. Good do it's...walk up to the window place your order and ina few minutes they will bring some out. I got a hot dozen of the Glazed Round Rock Donuts...they was really good...comparable to Krispy Kreme Donuts on the East Coast. Donuts were incredible! We got the huge donut for just two people and still had leftovers for day 2. I loved how efficiently their line system works. Place was crazy busy on a Saturday morning but they have staff with tablets taking orders from the walk up and drive thru lines and it's SO fast and efficient. We're at Kalahari this weekend & stopped at Round Rock Donuts. Donuts were very good. I had the chocolate glazed & chocolate cake, both very tasty. Also tried the sausage roll, wasn't bad. Tried to get the pumpkin cake but they were out. We went through the drive thru, the gentleman who help us was very sweet, very patient, & even walked beside our car as we decided. Great experience.

This place is not to far from the highway. There?s not much parking. Park across the street and walk by. Don?t be intimidated by the long line. The line moves. There?s no indoor seating. It?s all togo. The doughnuts are very good! The cinnamon roll are big and thick! They have a Texas size doughnut! They open at 4:30am and close at 6pm. This was my first experience visiting Round Rock Donuts, in Round Rock, Texas. I loved their yellow dough for the donuts and their glaze is not super sweet. I was not a fan of the Bavarian Cream or Eclair it tasted too greasy. The giant Texas Chocolate glazed donut was great. We got almost two dozen donuts and two coffees for under $50 which you don?t find very many places with this quality. The coffee tastes like hazelnut.

I wouldn't recommend this donut hut. We ordered three donuts, and two of the three donuts were incorrect. The order was taken correctly (per the receipt). We were already on the highway when we realized the order was wrong though. My partner got his apple fritter and thought the flavor was ok. I ordered a cinnamon twist and plain cake donut with chocolate frosting, and didn't get either of those items. I didn't like the taste of the two donuts I received - they were way too sweet.
