Came here around 10am on a Friday and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Not really sure how this place gets so many 5 star reviews. I was in town for a work trip and was told this donut place is better than any in Dallas. It is not. I don?t know how to explain these donuts. They?re not fluffy, they?re a little heavier and flatter. Each one is glazed and then frosted. Parking is terrible. If you go, just order at the window, the drive thru line wraps around the street. They sell singles ($1.19) or a d

We had Round Rock Donuts create our wedding cake, and they absolutely nailed it! We went with a more non-traditional design for our four-layer cake, and they brought our vision to life perfectly. We chose carrot cake and Italian cream, and both were so good?but the carrot cake was definitely the standout! We heard from so many guests about how much they loved it. The flavors were rich, moist, and just the right amount of sweet. If you're looking for a bakery that can deliver both beautiful design and amazin

Let this review confirm: This is going to be ONE of the best if not THE best donut you will have in your entire life. The fluffiness the icing the fresh hotness!!!! Delectable!!! They haven?t missed on deliciousness YET! And I?m a native been coming here since a kid. Amazing donuts please don?t ever change

Never had anything like it and probably never will. Round Rock Donuts has cracked some kind of code we were never fully sure was supposed to be written. Donuts that are almost a breadlike consistency doesn?t seem like a good idea but damn is it a fantastic one. Now back to reality, this place is fantastic. They have a good parking lot and drive in option which is what we opted for. We grabbed a regular and jalape?o kolaches, glazed and chocolate glazed donuts, a cinnamon roll, and a white chocolate raspberr

The absolute best donuts in the United States; possibly even on Earth. The dough is out of this world. The cake donuts are good, but it's the classic donuts that are especially remarkable. Unlike most novelty sweets, the Texas-sized donuts here are real crowd-pleasers that make for more than just a cool photo.

Round Rock Donuts offers a distinctive take on the classic donut, one that stands out not just in flavor but in character. Unlike the typical donut, theirs is made from a bread-like dough, yielding a soft, chewy texture that leans closer to enriched bread than pastry. This isn?t just another donut shop, it?s a local store with a setup that?s both efficient and charming. The drive-through lane cater to on-the-go visitors, while walk-up windows on the side provide a more personal experience. The center windo

Whenever I'm in the Round Rock area, I have to stop by Round Rock Donuts. It's a must! The classic glazed is my go-to--fresh, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. You can really taste the difference. I've tried a few other flavors too, and they've all been great, but nothing beats that original. The place can get busy, but the line moves quickly, and the staff is always friendly. Definitely one of those spots that lives up to the hype.

Great donut! We got 6 donuts to share. We got glazed, maple, chocolate, cream bizmark, strawberry and one other with the cream. I really liked their glazed donut! I like the classic the best. Cream bizmark was similar to boston cream donut. Strawberry was pretty good as well. I think i would go for their glazed donut next time if i go there again or have more people to eat the texas donut together.

These donuts are uniquely delicious and one of a kind. I?ve heard so much about this place and had to try it. I LOVED them! I had several different kinds, all good! The prices were extremely reasonable too. I?ll be back soon!

Seen Round rock donuts on Man vs food years ago. Was finally in the area visiting from Omaha and had a chance to stop by. Wow what a super unique texture and taste, best donut I've ever had and it lived up to the hype and surpassed what I expected.

When I arrived this morning, I assumed there was an event going on, but to my surprise, there was a queue of cars down the street and around the corner for the Round Rock Donuts drive-through. Nevertheless, the lines moved swiftly, and staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable too. Round Rock Doughnuts is nothing short of remarkable!

Round Rock Donuts ? A Glazed Legend Since 1926 After tasting donuts from coast to coast, one thing is absolutely clear: Round Rock Donuts isn?t just a contender?it?s the champion. Their one-of-a-kind glazed donuts are in a league of their own?hot, fresh, and gloriously sticky, with that unmistakable golden hue and old-school magic that?s been perfected since 1926. The glaze? It?s not just sweet?it?s a nostalgic, melt-in-your-mouth miracle that somehow tastes like history and heaven at the same time. This

Kelly was the absolute sweetest lady helping us today! We love this donut shop so much! They are legendary and fresh and delicious! She made our day with her hospitality and smiles ??

Was hungry for a donut visiting from Maryland. My son took me here. I chose the Texas sized cinnamon roll and Oh MY! I had too have 1/2, nuked for 30 seconds. It was deliciously sinful... Friendly staff and brought out to us.... There was a Texas sized donut the size of a dinner plate.. Definately on my list when I visit again...

Other donut shops nearby just do not compare to the tasty sweet and airy glazed and chocolate glazed here! Cake donuts usually moist and flavorful. I don?t love their coffee but that?s just me. Can seem crowded but never takes long to grab a dozen.

The best glazed donut I?ve ever had! The glaze was perfectly sweet, and donut itself was soft, warm, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The staff is welcoming and friendly. If you?re in the area, it?s definitely worth a visit?one bite, and you?ll understand why this place is so popular!

A lot of hype for nothing. Very disappointed, the donut had no flavor just very sweet. Cake donuts are half the size of the yeast ones. Why are they all orange color? Won?t be back.

OMG the donut tastes so good! The staff is super friendly and easy going. I love this donut shop!

We've been to both locations now. This one is walk up only with no inside seating. I wasn't a fan of that, but we took one of the outside lawn tables. The Texas donut was good, but the amount of chocolate to donut ratio is excessive. The glazed donuts are soft and comparatively feel a little undercooked. Comparatively, as a huge fan of blueberry donuts, their blueberry cake donuts are the best I've had anywhere. It had a ton of great blueberry flavor throughout with a good consistency. Their kolaches are

AMAZING DONUTS! ?? This location came recommended by friends, and it did not disappoint. I always get the traditional glaze and chocolate iced donuts when trying a new spot. They were sooo good, the best I?ve had in a long time. I also got the kolaches, and they were delicious too! They have a Texas-sized donut, but I didn?t have anyone to share it with during this trip!

Some of the best donuts I have ever eaten. Service is quick even though the lines in front and in the drive through are always down the street (great sign of great donuts). I always go with the intention of getting a couple of donuts? and then eat a half dozen glazed in the car, in the parking lot lol. The cashier and person calling names for pick up are so patient. I definitely will keep coming back for these donuts!

These are by far the best donuts I've ever had. I lived in Austin for over three years and absolutely loved this place. I recently visited Austin again and brought back their signature coffee powder. The donuts are a must-try!

When in Round Rock.... STOP AND EAT HERE!!! I'm not sure what's in them but they're all great! It's always packed but it doesn't take long to get your order. Great friendly service and prices aren't crazy!

I was introduced to this place by an Austinite. I could not believe the lines when we arrived around 10 am on a Sunday. There were cars going around the block ordering the donuts. After a 12 minute wait we ordered the glaze donuts and few other things. It was definitely worth the wait. The glazed donuts were the best donuts I ever ate. I promise! The latte was amazing too. This is definitely a Round Rock institution. DO NOT LEAVE AUSTIN WITHOUT TRYING THIS PLACE. I strongly recommend this place.

We got assorted donuts, the texas size donut, and the donut holes. All of them were FINGER LICKING DELICIOUS! You cant stop once you start lol. Eat at your own risk. The yellow dough makes it so special! Its so moist and soft inside, feels like chewing cotton candy.

One has to ask if the donuts are worth the wait. The line of cars for the drive through can be a couple blocks long easily and the link at the walk up can be quite long but in my opinion, yes, the donuts are worth the wait. Warm and melt in your mouth. I will come back.

Great customer service, one of my must stops when visiting Austin. I even had to have a cheat day from my diet since I was visiting family. Definitely worth every calorie.

I wonder if Dell?s founder grew up eating at this place? This shop is truly amazing! The donuts are soft and yellow on the inside, without too much flour, yet still wonderfully chewy. The sweetness is just right, so it?s not overwhelming. The most special item is the so-called Texas donut?it?s bigger than our faces and could easily be used as a birthday cake! You can choose to have half chocolate and half original flavor. Their iced coffee is also fantastic. Donuts paired with black iced coffee are an absol

Normally I would give the full 5 stars but they got my order wrong today. I didn't know until I got home because I didn't think there was a need to check a simple order. 1 glazed and 1 lemon filled. I got the glaze and then some random donut that looks leftover. Disappointed ??

Good do it's...walk up to the window place your order and ina few minutes they will bring some out. I got a hot dozen of the Glazed Round Rock Donuts...they was really good...comparable to Krispy Kreme Donuts on the East Coast. Will go ahead and tell you there will probably be a line at window and line at drive through but don't worry they get people's donuts pretty quick and keep lines moving. Definitely stop on and get a Dozen Hot Glazed Donuts. You don't be disappointed. They are really good.

Donuts were incredible! We got the huge donut for just two people and still had leftovers for day 2. I loved how efficiently their line system works. We arrived thinking it would take so long because both the drive through and outdoor line was very very long, but surprisingly went by very fast because they had workers standing outside taking orders. Loved that idea! Highly recommend when visiting Austin/Roundrock area.

Round Rock Donuts has been a part of my life since I was a kid, and they?ve always been amazing. The food is next-level?soft, golden, perfectly sweet donuts that you can never get enough of! The service is just as impressive. Friendly, fast, and super efficient?even when there?s a line, it moves QUICK. They?ve got it down to a science. Honestly, it?s rare to find a place that?s stayed this consistently great over the years. Round Rock Donuts is a true local gem!

I?m sure they have the best donuts, but it?s a bit disappointing when your order isn?t complete. I ordered two Eclairs, but only one was in the box. The order receipt clearly showed two. We?re not local and left town after stopping here, so I thought I?d give you a heads up to make sure you don?t have the same issue. Just double-check your order before you leave!

We keep coming back! Who doesn?t love a Round Rock donut?? It?s been several months and we had an opportunity to grab a sweet RR donut so we did! We even took a Texas sized donut home just for fun!

Absolutely delightfully delicious!!! The eclair was fluffy and the filling smooth and flavorful. The flavors delicately caressing the tastebuds in a blissful manner. The jelly filled doughnuts are good but the star of the show is the cream filling and chocolate doughnuts as well as the eclairs. Recipe tastes like a delicious well kept secret recipe.

Round Rock Donuts has always been my go to ever since I was a kid! The donuts are amazingly fresh! Not a lot know about the strawberry glazed which I think are better than the chocolate! Their cake donuts are also fresh and great with a cup of coffee!

Place was crazy busy on a Saturday morning but they have staff with tablets taking orders from the walk up and drive thru lines and it's SO fast and efficient. The world famous original glazed donuts came out warm and melted in our mouths! Also got 2 pumpkin cream cheese cake donuts and they were amazing as well!

This place is amazing. The donuts are ALWAYS warm- and sooooo good!!! I don?t have a sweet tooth but this is my favorite pastry place ever. The people that work there are so kind and I love that this business hire a lot of young people. Also!!! They are so generous- they always gift me extra donuts or donut holes. Thank you so much for your friendly customer service.

We're at Kalahari this weekend & stopped at Round Rock Donuts. Donuts were very good. I had the chocolate glazed & chocolate cake, both very tasty. Also tried the sausage roll, wasn't bad. Tried to get the pumpkin cake but they were out. We went through the drive thru, the gentleman who help us was very sweet, very patient, & even walked beside our car as we decided. Great experience.

For the price and quality you cannot do better in the Austin area! I had the Bismark with vanilla filling. Yum. Everything looks and is delicious.

I normally stop and get round rock donuts at least once a month sometimes twice. At my last visit, I got a variety of donuts spent a little more than $20 and when I got home to enjoy them, they tasted like alcohol. At first I was confused not sure if it was my taste buds, but after trying another one and yep it was the donuts! All the donuts tasted like alcohol. It was so gross. I couldn?t even eat them. Somebody either didn?t make the donuts right or the materials or bad. Either way, I know my donut should

Hot and Fresh made to order! Brought my boys to experience the amazing Texas Donut and they enjoyed it! Can't wait to be back! Round Rock Donuts didn't disappointed! Can't wait to be back!

This place is not to far from the highway. There?s not much parking. Park across the street and walk by. Don?t be intimidated by the long line. The line moves. There?s no indoor seating. It?s all togo. The doughnuts are very good! The cinnamon roll are big and thick! They have a Texas size doughnut! They open at 4:30am and close at 6pm. Do check their website since the hours will change especially during holidays.

Fast and friendly service and the best donuts on the planet. The large kolaches and giant cinnamon rolls are incredible as well. To top it off, the hours allow for you to buy their menu morning, noon and night!

As a repeat out-of-town customer, I can confidently say that Round Rock Donuts lives up to its Texas reputation ? everything truly is bigger, and better, here! This isn't just a donut shop; it's an institution that consistently delivers on taste, quality, and a touch of that famous Texas charm. The undisputed star of the show is the legendary Texas Donut. Its sheer size is impressive, but it's the perfect balance of fluffy interior and subtly crisp exterior that makes it a must-try. You can't go wrong with

Omg the line was unreal for this Donut shop. My 1st time here & the Donuts were amazing

Best donuts I have ever had. The warm unglazed donut was my favorite and the price is right.

This was my first experience visiting Round Rock Donuts, in Round Rock, Texas. I loved their yellow dough for the donuts and their glaze is not super sweet. I was not a fan of the Bavarian Cream or Eclair it tasted too greasy. The giant Texas Chocolate glazed donut was great. We got almost two dozen donuts and two coffees for under $50 which you don?t find very many places with this quality. The coffee tastes like hazelnut.

I?ve never had donuts like the ones made at Round Rock Donuts. It?s got a yellowness to it and it?s so soft, warm, and fresh. They have a drive thru but also walk up windows. We got 6 glazed, 3 chocolate and 3 strawberry donuts. We also got a bag of donut holes. The donuts are so good!!!! Come by with your friends or family or bring yourself for a nice sweet treat!

Is delicious!! Although there is not designated sitting area. You can order on the drive through or on the window. But there is no sitting provided. Some picnic tables would be good enough ??

We are very loyal to our doughnut shop back home. We usually never find a doughnut that is anywhere as good as the ones at home. These glazed doughnuts matched the ones back home. That is saying a lot. They were warm and very good. We ordered a lot of different things though my fav was the glazed. If you are near here stop by, you will not be disappointed. The woman who served us was so nice and helpful. We had an all around great experience.

Service was great, had the glazed donuts, and the donut holes. Pros: Texture: 5 ?? : Very good, moist, and extremely tender. Freshness: 5 ?? : Straight out of the frier. Sweetness: 5 ?? : Just right, not too sweet. Cons: Oils: 0 : I don't know exactly, but since they don't disclose it, I imagine they are seed oils. Flavor: -3: They need to change the oil sooner. You know that flavor when you reuse the oil from the frier too many times? It just kills the flavor. I have gone twice, just to see if it was a b

We have been coming here for years. Round Rock donuts are always piping hot, fresh, fluffy with the perfect chew, sweet, and delicious; what more can you ask for in a donut.?????????? We love their drive-thru - very streamlined (only wish they had more of their own space for the drive-thru line instead of the roadway) and staff are friendly and efficient! By the way, just learned that their donuts warm up nicely (at 250 degrees in the oven for several minutes)! However the best is to eat them right away as

Round Rock Donuts are a staple in the Austin metro area! Folks from South Austin, Kyle, and Buda flock to this legendary establishment to get their hands on these world-famous, orange-glazed delights. I enjoy them frequently?but I make sure to keep up with my exercise because I can easily eat six by myself! They?re just that good. Keep up the great work, and keep serving up these amazing treats. Let?s keep Round Rock Donuts on the minds?and taste buds?of the world! #1DonutsInUSA #GBrownYourFavoriteVeteran

The donuts were okay. I have been waiting to try this place for awhile. Im a little disappointed with the donuts and cinnamon rolls. They had long lines but the wait time was very short.

Great donuts. Classic glazed was delicious. Donuts are light and fluffy and don't make you feel too full.

This has to be the best donuts I?ve ever tried! Their kolaches are 10/10, perfect outside and on the inside. Not to mention how awesome their customer service is too.

Wonderful! ... Soft and flaky .. ! We loved it ... And great customer service big plus ????

This place was amazing, in the middle of the day on a weekday it was packed. The Texas size donut was amazing, I bought two and took them home for others to enjoy. Thumbs up here for sure.

Absolutely loved our visit to Round Rock Donuts! Huge thanks to Colton and Deanne for the warm hospitality and for sharing so many great insights into the company?s rich history. The service was truly exceptional, and the donuts ? hands down ? some of the best we?ve ever had. Soft, flavorful, and unforgettable. A must-visit Texas gem!

Isaac helped me today. He?s very respectful and understanding and helpful whenever I wanted to add more to my order. Very very respectful. I was so Sat aside with my visit here today

This place has the best donuts. They?re probably the best I?ve ever had. We were visiting from out of town and my daughter wanted to try them because they?re known for their donuts. We saw the line when we got there and almost left but it moved really quickly. We got a few flavors but I have to say the simple glazed donuts were absolutely amazing. Blueberry cake, limited red velvety, strawberry with sprinkles, Bavarian cream filled chocolate. Can?t go wrong with any of them. Worth a try if you?re visiting t

I mean what can you say. Every single thing here is delicious and the staff is super friendly. You've gotta stop for a donut!!

Great down home Texas friendliness. Donuts were very good. Very light and airy. The famous glazed is served hot and is really good. It?s a walk up window so atmosphere isn?t anything special but location is nice and people waiting on orders were all friendly.

I hate to leave a negative review since Round Rock Donuts have the best donuts in town IF you get them before noon. My guess is they don't make any more in the afternoon since the last 2 times I stopped by after work around 4:30, the donuts were not fresh and half stale. I get it, donuts do not stay fresh very long, but that's why u need to make several fresh batches throughout the day to justify the great reputation. This place is world famous. Imagine someone trying these for the first time mid to late a

This place has delicious, chewy, yellow donuts that are different from regular ones. When you take a bite, they?re soft yet chewy, and the sweet taste is on a whole different level. The best part is going through the drive-thru and enjoying warm, freshly-made donuts right in the car. A true delight! Since these donuts are only available in Austin, you definitely have to try them!

Best damn donuts in the world. Always has the best flavor. Texas sized donuts for the win. Regular sized donuts on top of Texas sized for comparison.

Best donuts in the world. I am not kidding. I had hundreds of donuts from all over the world in my life. Those are definitely the best. We had half a dozen. Are them on 2 minutes and had another half a dozen. All the best from Germany ????

Sorry I?m not to sure why people love this place first and last time that I?m going to be at this place! They have flies inside the food, I told the person who was in front of it and he pretended that he didn't hear, apparently it's something common in this place! Good luck to you, keep eating all the infections that flies bring

Alway a must yo swing by when in town to pickup some warm delicious donuts and along with some black gold "coffee" to enjoy the moment ?????????????? See y'all soon!

Food 3/5: Decent! The sausage roll is normal. Donuts are unique. And orange color and interesting flavor and texture that I give them points for. Not for my taste though. Prices are great. Service 3/5: Normal. Workers come out with your food if you wait around. Atmosphere 3/5: Fun to look at the clear display. No indoor. Just a counter that takes your order.

First off I am not a picky person. I will eat what is mostly before me. I heard about this place and me and my taste buds went. I got one dozen glazed and one dozen powdered. Let's say before arriving back home ?? there was no complete dozen. They were light and fluffy and very fresh. I recommend this place very highly. Now can you pass the milk. Lol

Hands down the best glazed doughnuts I have ever eaten!! I also tried a cream cheese kolache and cinnamon roll but they were not as fresh as the sausage and cheese kolache and original glazed doughnuts. Will be coming back before we leave town.

Came for the well known donuts and the glazed was fresh and hot. For a dozen mixed donuts was $13. It?s a walk up or drive through experience. Order at the window and someone brings your order out. There was also the Texas size glazed or chocolate frosted. Delicious!

I've been here already twice on a 3 day weekend because these donuts are just that good. I've always been a Shipley's fan but Round Rock Donuts might as well be the new favorite, especially if I'm coming in or out of town. This place is busy, especially in the morning, so prepare to wait. The 1st time I came, I waited about 10 to 15 minutes. These donuts were fresh, and the bonus, it travels well, whether if you're going to San Antonio or Houston. The service was amazing. The only thing is that I wish tha

Finally tried Round Rock Donut, the glazed donut is light. The sweetness is ok, tolerable. I got a few other things as well. They?re ok. I tried seasonal pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing. Blueberry kolaches is ??. Their specialty is Donuts.

This place is always busy and it's easy to tell why, pretty quick too! I've been coming here for as long as I can remember and the donuts have had the same delicious taste since I was a kid. No matter how long the lines are, it's never a long wait to get my donuts no matter the size of my order.

Definitely a busy spot tons of selections and I had awesome service so Great stop for everything you need they even have a drive-thru get your sweets and donuts here for sure some merchandise but nothing in my size that I wanted a repeat for sure great prices. Cinnamon rolls excellent

I wouldn't recommend this donut hut. We ordered three donuts, and two of the three donuts were incorrect. The order was taken correctly (per the receipt). We were already on the highway when we realized the order was wrong though. My partner got his apple fritter and thought the flavor was ok. I ordered a cinnamon twist and plain cake donut with chocolate frosting, and didn't get either of those items. I didn't like the taste of the two donuts I received - they were way too sweet.

Best buttery doughnuts in Austin, it?s a must if your in the area. I love the original glaze the cinnamon rolls are the best they have two sizes big and huge, coffee is not bad. Please stop by you won?t be disappointed.

My hubby and I came to Round Rock for one of our grandson's basketball tournaments. So during their break we took them here or should I say they took us because we never had been before . OMG, the smell of the place was fantastic. The environment the people outside just made the day perfect. So they have a plethora of Donuts Cinnamon Roll, Kolachies, a Texas size Donut which my grandson's split?? Boy were they excited ?? My husband got an Apple Fritter that he loved also. We will definitely be back again th

I have had Round Rock's famous Texas sized donut before but had never visited until recently. I stopped by on my way home from San Antonio and it was a welcome break from the road. Not far off 35, this donut shop is in a cute little area where there was a lot of foot traffic. I'd never seen a donut shop this busy at 3:30PM in my life, but anyone who has had one of their donuts knows why it's popular! There were a lot of students that stopped by on their way home after school, something I would have done if

Best donuts in the country! Ordered glazed and chocolate donuts and these donuts seem to just melt in your mouth as you eat them. The service window was fast and got my donuts order quickly. Not sure how to rate atmosphere? you order at walk up window or through drive through window.

Get here early! The ordering process takes place outside. There are 2 walk up windows and a drive thru. The lines speed are typical. It depends on how indecisive those are in front of you.... The iced coffee was really good! I regret not getting the regular glazed donuts. The cinnamon roll is definitely the star of this visit to Round Rock Donuts. The kids enjoyed the big donut, however I would not get that again. I was confused by the orange color in the bread and on the top. I spent $26 for iced coffee,

I was in town for a meeting and everyone was talking about these donuts and I had to stop by. The donuts did not disappoint. They are definitely different and delicious.

OMG I don't think I've ever had donuts as soft, fluffy and melt-in-your mouth as these Round Rock Donuts. I tried the Original, Maple and Chocolate. All were great but the Original Glazed was the best. I ordered from the window and I thought I would be getting what was on display but NO! You get warm and fresh donuts that you truly need to eat asap because they are at their best right there and then. Sooooo delicious AND the next best part??!!! A donuts costs just $.99 cents!!! This was the original stor

This place has the best cheese jalape?o kolache I?ve ever had in my life. The donuts, of course, are also a standout with my favorite being their famous glazed. Not only that but the service is also unmatched and the lady who took my order was really sweet. Overall, if you want an inexpensive donut shop that has great quality all around you can?t go wrong with Round Rock Donuts.

We got an assortment of Donuts today from Round Rock Donuts. Best ever!! I really enjoyed the orange glazed yeast donut. It was so soft and fresh! Also highly recommend the strawberry jelly filled donut. If you like cake donuts try the blueberry cake donut, delicious! For a real treat try one of their specialties the Texas Sized Baked Cinnamon Roll ("Texas-Sized' sweet bread dough topped with white icing and peanuts) YUM!
