Need breakfast? I did. And I came to the right place! All the coffee options, and more donuts than the law allows. These guys are quite the rave around here, as their donuts are distributed at local gas stations and whatnot. Small town vibe. I bet you didn't know they have chocolate- peanut butter donuts ...like a real Reese's cup, only it's a donut. That's at least worth a trip. Super friendly service! Went for breakfast with our grandchildren (1 and 3 year olds) Sat after we ordered for 40 minutes and never got our food. Other people that came in before us were served but not us. Had to drive to Amish country to get breakfast Used to live Rods when it was operated by Rod Never again ??

The worst experience getting food ever! Almost a hour for eggs and toast?. Gentlemen next to me did not want his coffee, waitress took it and poured it back in the coffee pot. I?m sorry but that it?s t right

The donuts just aren?t what they used to be. The cake donuts are very dry and the Apple fritters are burnt.
Great doughnuts of course. But I had lunch here a couple weeks ago and service was great. The girl waiting on tables had a beautiful smile the whole time we were there. Lunch was great too and super affordable.

People getting food that came in 30 minutes after us. This didn't happen just once but three times! Slow, slow, slow! They have no idea what came in what order in the kitchen. Done with this place. Cannot recommend!

Everything was good ,I think the changes you have made are very nice ,the prices were a little high ,the service was good ,the food was good .I was there with my daughter it was her Birthday .It has been a family tradition to take her to Rod for her breakfast on he Birthday !
Donuts are amazing, when they have them. Stopped in last week for the first time to try it. Bought a couple glazed and a couple apple fritters, they were great. Tried to stop this week( website said open till 3pm) it was just 2pm and they were closed. Went again today and they were open but no donuts only cookies. Very sad..
My family has been going to Rod?s shop since I was born, and even before. We always place an order when we come home and call ahead to pick it up?THIS time the experience was TERRIBLE. Our order was mainly donuts and a couple of cookies. The staff was unclear on the amount of cookies, so ?they called who placed the order.? WE DID NOT PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER & THEY DID NOT ASK FOR ONE TO BE PROVIDED. Whomever they called said they did not place an order with Rod?s so the staff DID NOT PREP THE ORDER & THREW I

Real old fashioned donuts and delicious cookies are the main draw. But, they also have reasonably priced breakfast in a fairly small dining area. The donuts never disappoint but get there early or your favorites might be sold out.
Love this place it is one of my favorite places from my childhood and now I can bring it to my kids

Rod's is a family favorite. Best donuts anywhere, Rod knows his business and seems to only get better. Breakfast deals are unbeatable. Not many of these places left in America, but truly what makes America great.
I lived near there for part of my childhood & I never forgot this place. Every donut I've ever eaten was compared to them. An nobody held a candle to the taste!! I'm elated they're still going strong 40yrs later!!!
Terrible, terrible attitudes in this place! You are servers, smile!!! Say hello!! Tell your customers thank you, and please come again!! My goodness, I was a server for years and NEVER have I seen such terrible interaction with guests...your food and ?? are good, but not good enough to come back for this sort of treatment, and may I add, this seems to be the popular opinion of alot of people, you should consider retraining or getting friendlier help!
I come out of Cleveland and grab a dozen to take to open property in Southern Ohio. Donuts are mouth watering, love the staff, old time country friendly.

I love this place, but I may be biased. Some of the waitresses get up at 1 am to be to work here at 2am to box donuts for delivery BEFORE the store opens at 3am. So I forgive them if they don't ALWAYS have a smile on their faces!
Great doughnuts!! I recommend this shop should stick to... just that. Breakfast, I waited for over an hour on a egg sandwich/HF. Today I tried their lunch, pizzaburger. It didn't come with any sauce and or Pepperoni's lol and I was never told when I ordered?!?! Just a pattie w cheese on a big bun. My son's chicken smelled like fish. Not going to eat at the diner anymore but I'll still enjoy a doughnut from time to time!
Very disappointed bc I looked at menu online and called it in then I got there and was charged 14$ more then it said online. Donuts are great but they need to fix prices online if they are going to charge 7.99 for two eggs sausage and toast.
I've stopped in here on two occasions both times no one even welcomed me to the store. I stood at the counter for a few min before staff asked if I knew what I wanted yet. Staff had attitude answering my ?s, but it's my 1st visit, so after hearing name Honeymooner for the jelly&crm chs donut choice made because the name was the only thing about this place that put a smile on my face. Donut was good but staff is rude. So rude, I walked out empty handed yesterday.
Today when I went to Rod's I ordered a single meal they consist of altogether 4 eggs a side of home fries and toast my portions were so small then it wouldn't even fill up a toddler on top of the fact that they forgot my gravy so I called him to get it made right and I was put on hold for almost 15 minutes I was able to make it back to the store and talk to them before somebody came back to the phone it's ridiculous did I spent $20 because it was 15 for the meal and I gave each of the girls at $2.50 Tim and
I will never eat these again tonight I was at the East Canton Bell Stores and saw the store tell the delivery man to put them into the cleaning company?s van. This is the company waxing the floors I would even have noticed but the gas station employee told him over the PA system.. wait till the chemicals kill someone anyone health department please!!!
Good donuts and cookies. Service is horrible. Been here four times. Order was wrong every time. Been sitting an hour and a half on fries hot dog and a burger..... Horrible. And the place only had three tables that had anyone in them.

I have been going here ever since I can remember! I recommend everything. Powdered raspberry stick is my favorite donut and there breakfast is really good and affordable.
A friendly acid truck driver told me this is the best pastry he's ever eaten! Haven't tried it yet, but I need to if I'm ever out this way!

Traveled 45 minutes to try these donuts and the staff was rude they didn't use gloves they cut out cookies were so hard you could use it for a hammer ...I did enjoy the chocolate/chocolate cake donut with cream filling
