I had custom donuts made for my son?s birthday. They were so easy to talk to on the phone. I gave them minimal information, and they put together the cutest donuts ever. The pick up process was very smooth as well.

Their doughnuts are good. I got the glazed and the glazed with chocolate and sprinkles. The glazed wasn?t that good(had a crispy taste, not a fluffy one, looked like it was grilled) but the other doughnut was fresh and really good. They also have drive-through which is very convenient. After a few months, I came by at 8 am and they were fresh. Make sure to ask for fresh ones

Donut is not bad. Problem is their service. Don?t expect their offer for getting a bag although you buy several dozens of donuts. When you ask, you will get smaller bag which does not fit for your donut boxes, and they will say it is the biggest one. Hopefully it was not the racism.

I was driving in the pouring rain todayd and passed River Oaks Donuts when I decided to treat myself. As this was my first visit, I tried the iced donut holes recommended by a very polite worker at the drive thru window. They were absolutely delicious and the hot latte even better! I will be back.

Went there Sunday morning, the place was packed but the line moved fast and service was friendly and efficient. Stopped by this place at 8am on a weekday and it was slightly busy but the drive thru is clutch. They were out of Apple fritters at 8am which is weird so I got the fritter bites along with a glazed donut and the regular cronut and Nutella cronut. The bites and glazed donut were ok. The cronuts were pretty good especially the regular cronut which was filled with cream. The Nutella one was fine but lacked in flavor for me. I have passed by this place many times and finally decided to try it. When I got there, they were out of their normal glazed donuts so I got donut holes and a regular cake donut. The cake donut was pretty good but the donut holes were just ok. If you want speciality donuts, they seem to have a lot of these. If not, you may find better donuts elsewhere.

This is my third time ordering custom donuts from river oaks and it?s a hit every time! This time I needed baby girl themed and could only give vague ideas because I wasn?t sure what I wanted. I was so amazed how great they turned out! So pretty, and the glitter was such a cool touch. Everyone loved them and they tasted so good! This is one of the most unique donut shops I have ever seen! I travel to Houston a few times a year and when in the Galleria area I make it point to stop by and take some of their donuts and kolachs for my morning meetings. They are always a hit and they disappear within minutes! Btw, they have a very courteous and attentive staff.

The cream cheese red velvet and cappuccino cream are awesome. I didn't get my receipt and ended up with 2 incorrect kolaches. I walked up to get the correct jalopeno cheese.

Best powdered donut on the planet possibly! Their donuts are delicious on all levels really. Blueberry cake donut is also off the chain. Parking is tight, and drive thru is always busy. Line usually goes fast though. No better place in the area. Highly recommend. Worth the effort every time.

The donuts are the best but you have to go through the obstacle course of the service. If you want prompter service go through the drive through. It would be helpful if the phone number was posted on the door for ordering at the door and if the phone was answered.

Stopped by for breakfast over the weekend. Brisket Kolaches were delicious. The couple donuts we got were thrown into one bag and just the walk to the car made all the diff icings slide off and mush together. Kinda made the experience very basic, especially after the guy helping us looked like he was dying on the inside when he interacted with us coupled with the tiny front end...was just uncomfortable. I?m kinda disappointed with my experience. The person at the drive thru was very nice and fast but i spend $11. I ordered a jalape?o sausage, and cheese kolache, a filled donut and a chocolate milk. The kolache could fit in my palm and the filled donut was about 25% full. It was pretty much one bite of icing. The chocolate milk was small. For 11 dollars I expected more :/

I just wanted to acknowledge how well Elise and Brandon helped pick out some donuts for a party they were just scrumptious they were super duper nice I love them so much(p.s you can orders donuts ahead of time to ensure you will get whatever you want)

Finally, I got to try one of their cronuts (they have always run out). It was very good, as was the chocolate covered eclair. Would have given 5 stars all the way, but the young kid did put pastry paper on the ?clair or the cronus and the chocolate stuck to the bag!

This is a great local business with a massive selection of treats and exceptional prices. Get there early because they will sell out of the most popular options. The line at the drive thru can be a little long at times, but they are very efficient and keep it moving quickly. My kids love the Cookie Monster and Unicorn donuts. My only ask would be to offer more vegan options. Excellent spot!

Was a few min late to pick up too good to go food from them. I looked online said they close at 1pm. Arrived at 12:05. Cut off time was 11:30-12 and we pull up and they are completely closed. Don?t advertise you being open at 1 if you close at 12. Thanks

I prefer to support local and this is a great location but if you get there 10 minutes before they close, you aren?t getting anything because they aren?t interested in serving you. They are already counting the cash register and can?t be bothered and apparently have no coffee so I won?t be going back. If you want to close at 12:48 then put that on your door and not 1:00.

Light and fluffy glazed donuts. I bought a dozen of those and my coworkers were very satisfied!! 5/5. I got the blueberry cake donuts, but it lacked sweetness. I don't like overly sweet donuts, but these needed more glaze!! 3/5. I got the kolaches and I appreciate them putting actual sausage in it! It was good!! 4/5. I prefer less powdery dough though. Stopped in today because it was close to where I was working. Good thing for them they didn't post prices on the menu outside. 23.58 for two dozen donuts. I normally don't leave reviews especially bad ones and if the donuts were half way decent I wouldn't have. The glazed donuts may have been cooked today but doubt it. I went at 7:00am and the glazed donuts were cold and wet. The blueberry cake (usually my favorite) were border line stale. They were probably cooked the day prior. Good flavor but not fresh.

I've been here a few times because it's one of the quickest places around here to get myself breakfast before I need to be in for work, but every single time I'm utterly disappointed. I always hear them telling other customers that they're out of certain things and its happened to myself twice so it seems to be fairly consistent. Poor quality of ingredients. Got an old fashioned chcolate donut and regular chocolate donut. Total waste of time and money. The chocolate tastes cheap and like pure sugar not much cocoa/chocolate flavor. The dough was very very heavy and greasy. Not going back. The staff service was ok. I went first thing in the morning when they opened and was disappointed. I take my son to get donuts every Friday and we go early to get the best and freshest donuts. This was not the place for us the donuts are made hours before the shop opens and sit all night. Like I said not the place if your looking to stop in early and expecting hot fresh donuts.

Two words for management ?customer service.? I once ordered a small coffee and the cashier sniped back ?this isn?t Starbucks.? I repeated my order for a SMALL not a tall. I thought it was an isolated incident, but the terrible attitudes have persisted. I tried several more times with same result. I won?t be going back. While many of their donuts are covered in sweet glazes, I liked their old-fashioned donuts and their blueberry cake donuts. They were less sweet than some others I've had. Their maple bacon donut also has an option with jalapeno, which moves toward a more balanced flavor. The shortcoming is that they don't have the matching funky style of a gourmet local donut; they have lots of young fresh-faced staff who are very quick instead.

The donuts and kolaches were just mediocre. My major problem was the service. It was my first time here, so I asked if the donut holes were sold in any sort of packages (by the dozen, box, etc). I got a rude response of, "you can just get whatever you want or not". Ok... I got a few things and left. The food was just meh.

I asked for two bags, but they shoved four doughnuts and hot kiloches in the same bag with no separation papers so the doughnut frosting melted all over the kiloches and killed the flavor. We were eating in the car and it was a sticky mess! The kiloches are delicious, but the sausage they use has thick casing so when you take a bite the whole thing comes out. If you don't have a knife, you have to wrestle it like a wild animal.
