Great doughnuts and quick service. Place to sit inside or outside. Great old time cafe atmosphere.

Haven't been here in over a year. Normally stop during hunting season Still have the best apple fritters around. Stop in an have one. Get it heated. Yum

Where do I begin....donuts look like they have been sitting out all day. All I ordered was a dozen glazed donuts, and there was NO glaze. Looks like they overlooked the donuts with glazing. Donuts NEED more glaze! Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, etc...all have more glaze on them. Yet, those establishments are not here in Del Rio. This is the only reason why River City is in business. One of the worst donut shops I have ever been to. You know it's bad when Walmart has better glazed donuts.

Whether going through the drive thru or inside and sitting at the counter this place is top notch on homemade doughnuts: gotta recommend the chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate frosting and the apple spice doughnut with apple filling :-) enjoy!!!

OMG I've lived Dunkin Donuts for years... But River City is Fresher, Fluffier, and Tastier!! Happy for my 1st visit. All the other times my Mother In Law & Sister In Law brought them to me...so they were secession his old, and still Fresher than Fresh!! Love the old style Coffee Bar too! But these were to go back to DFW.

Not-so great donuts, but they have a good selection.

Waited in line for over 15 mins. Asked for a plain iced coffee with no whipped cream or sweetener and they gave me what looked and tasted like a milkshake. Donuts had spots that looked like mold. I?ll just got to Starbucks next time...

Great Restaurant or Coffee Place. I really enjoy buying the Ham and Egg cheese croissant. The donuts have a different but delicious flavor. Well recommended for all of you. It has nothing to envy the expensive places.

Was one of the he worst apple fritters I've ever tried. It was too hick and uncooked in the middle. The red velvet donut holes were good , yet, none of my items had the amount of icing I would have expected. Probably won't go back.

It's so often that they don't have the doughnuts we want. I went at 11am and nothing. You would expect that they would be prepared at that time but no. The girl there was on her phone had me standing for about 5 min just waiting on her to finish. Make more doughnuts y'all been in business long enough to know that they run out. Get better workers.

This is the ONLY place in town that inexplicably tried to force customers to wear a masks at the drive thru. Them turning us down at the drive thru made our first visit, the last. When I left this same review on another review site, instead of perhaps trying to explain, they had the review site remove our review, I guess because it made them ashamed or angry or both. Either way, this is a terrible local business, I wish Dunkin Doughnuts had never left or that Krispy Kream some day finds its way to our town

We come here weekly, if not more often. Very friendly staff - almost like a family. They have our order ready to go before we even sit down. Great with kids. Affordable prices, welcoming atmosphere. It's places like River City Donuts that make Del Rio a great place to live.

Del Rio texas, never been to the city, and always like to try different donuts on different areas. Thought were pretty good, wide selection. Got there at 1 pm, not a lot to choose from but what I got were good. I like donuts more in afternoon and evening. Wish they would stay open later. If ever back there I'll go again. Great customer services and clean. Oh ice cream too.

I began with ? I am going to get at least six maybe more donuts? and the counter lady grabbed a small white bag. Those bags seem OK for two, maybe three but certainly not six donuts! And not with frosting & filling. But I thought... take this through to its logical conclusion. Sure enough, she loaded in 6 plus I added a brownie and eclair. Its a good place, but don't let the open 24 hours fool you. Never come after it gets dark because they won't come out to the window unless you're hanging on the front door to let them know that you're there. We tried calling and knocking on the drive thru window but no avail. I even honked but nothing. I am visiting from Albuquerque. This place is delicious, conveniently located, and the staff is very friendly. I was able to pay with credit card. Also, I caught the morning regulars get along well with other customers and with the staff. I ordered a coffee, on old fashioned, a strawberry sprinkles, and a buttermilk cake. All were amazing.

The donuts are so delicious. The serve Blue Bell Ice cream! It?s the best. Coffee is always fresh and never disappoints. The lady?s are super nice and courteous. The owner is a very nice man.

I'm curious to know if they make their donuts fresh daily in the morning. Mine didn't taste as if they were. The sausage kolache are not recommended. I should have known when they second guessed me when I asked for the kolache. The service was fast but I really hope this isn't the only donut shop.

Wonderful!! My son, graduating from UPT, took his grandparents, sister, mom and myself to try the place out. First was the customer service, talk about warm, inviting and genuine, they really made our night!! Now the food, donuts, you can't go wrong, delicious and were bringing out fresh when we got there. Never have donuts at night ... why have open sign rude at night everytime me and coworkers call or other people I know this whole week even at 11pm no donuts til 7am supposely.. would be good to have at least some type of donut available. I understand maybe some run out but always no of any kind

I went at 9 p.m. and ordered and asked if they hadbanana nut muffins...the lady said yes but put 4 plain Muffins in the bag. Since it was in the drive through, we didn't find out until we got home. We got screwed.

Zero respect for customers. DO NOT GO HERE!! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I pick up breakfast here when I?m in town and tried to do the same today. I?m not the type to leave negative reviews, but this bothered me a great deal. They didn?t have any croissants no big deal, so while my bf is deciding what else to get the drive through worker says to him, a paying customer, ?You?re holding up the line? very rude and unprofessional

They run out of stuff a lot, don't have iced coffees. Sometimes they'll block off the drive thru and sometimes they'll close they didning room and open drive thru.. my croissant sandwich had a half a piece of bacon, a tiny egg and a pea sized serving of melted cheese and the croissant was more of a flaky bread.

It's good only problem is that they never seem to have doughnuts. Its open 24/7 but yet only seem to have good doughnuts for about 3hrs! UPDATE: sep/30/2019 I went this morning and i saw the girl just grab a munch from the tray with her hands and eat it then she was making a croissant w/o glaves. She didn't even wash her hands or put germ-x. That's disgusting. On top of that she was always going to the back to talk never asked if we needed anything else.

Donuts and the doughnut holes are really good. Those red velvet doughnut holes are good. The french vanilla cappuccino is a little on the sweeter side but I like it that way. The young man at the window is very friendly and service inside the lobby is good too.

Worst place ever. The croissant was literally dry bread. The donuts were: what can I say nasty, looks horrible, can even swallow the first bite type of nasty. Customer service has a long way to go in providing any actual service. Bad experience.

The doughnuts were HORRIBLE! I understand when you go late during the day you have a greater possibility to get crappie doughnuts but this was in the AM. They were dry, and no glaze what so ever! By far the WORST I've ever had! You can get better doughnuts from H.E.B.....

This place has a nice old school diner feel to it. Good service, great Apple fritter and ok coffee. I honestly like the wrap around bar.

Quaint little donut shop. I do enjoy the bar style setup for adults, but it is not a very child friendly setup.

River City is a small, locally-owned doughnut shop on Del Rio's main drag. It's a small diner-type setup, with nothing but a row of stools situated on a long counter where you can choose to eat a few donuts and a cup of coffee. Prices are more than reasonable per doughnut and tasty to boot. Aside from a small Blue Bell ice cream selection, not much is additionally offered aside from the fried dough, but there doesn't need to be. If you want to grab some doughnuts, this is the place to go.

Their donuts are good if whenever they have any I've been there twice and they don't have Donuts
