I came here on a Friday morning it was a little busy but the staff greeted everyone with big smiles. I order a jalape?o sausage with cheese and it was delicious. The chocolate donut was also good. Definitely coming back again!

Bacon egg and cheese croissant made me jelly belly very happy smiley face :)

I've never had a more perfect glazed donut. Finally I found it. The size is nice and large. The light, golden color. Texture and flavor are perfect. And a nice, generous glazing.

Wow best donut shop I?ve ever been to. Cream/jelly filled donuts are freshly filled to order. Nice staff and friendly interior. I wish we had donut shops this good near me.

Everyone putting good reviews about this place . Came to try them out yesterday 04/24 for the first time in the morning . Order 2 kolaches and moment I was paying a gentleman was moving some kolaches he was prepping on a tray sneezed and cough on all of them . That?s a big No for me . Threw kolaches away and went to another stand down the road .

There may be better Donuts...but I seriously doubt it, because the ones being produced at this are all outstand..The staff is friendly and most helpful..They wait for orders of filled donuts and then fill them with desire filling...Their Blue Berrie donuts and muffins are ment to be fought over,both are superior to any I've tried..Location is easy to find,and sparling clean. If you haven't tried this on on Clear Lake Blv.You're miss out on a memorable experience. .

First time visiting with my kid's. The man/owner I believe was very hospitable and welcoming. Love the paintings, food and service.

I ORDER SOME KOLACHES AND THEY WERE AMAZING. IF YOU LOVE BOUDIN THIS IS THE PLACE TO GRAB YOU THE BEST BOUDIN KOLACHE. THE REGULAR KOLACHES ARE AMAZING ALSO. THE SAUSAGE IN THE KOLACHE IS NOT SO SALTY. THIS IS MY PLACE TO COME AND GRAB SOME AMAZING KOLACHE AND DONUTS.

Hands down the best donut shop in town. I work in the restaurant industry and I tend to be critical of things like quality of food, service and atmosphere. Riley?s astounds me every time I go in. The food is crazy good, better even than the gourmet donut shops in the area, their kolaches don?t get nearly enough credit, and the service is always so helpful and friendly. Why post hours when they open whenever they get there. When they do open they have nothing ready except for croissant sandwich from day before.

Stopped in for the first time on a random Thursday to get me and my cleaning team some donuts & let me say....the service....it was amazing! I love some great friendly staff, especially in the morning. The donuts where good & the boudin kolaches where greatttt! I enjoyed this hidden gem for breakfast and amazing friendly people as well.

I love this place. Locally owned, they always know how to treat their customers. Every time I go in there I feel as though I could honestly be part of the family. Their donuts are by far my most favorite I have had. My children love their donut-holes, and their Kolaches are pretty awesome, too. If you want to support a local small business, definitely go here for breakfast!

I rather enjoyed my time at Riley's. I ordered two sausage cheese kolaches, a cup of coffee, and a donut. The donuts were a little unique and definitely fun to eat, but the kolaches made with croissants were what sold me. They were delicious, filling, and not something you could purchase elsewhere. The owner was very friendly and chatty with each of his customers, and he made me feel very welcome when I decided to dine in for an hour and a half. My bill was $9, which meets my expectations for having a meal

Really, really good donuts. Smiling and friendly faces working at the counter. I'm shocked this donut shop doesn't generate more buzz because the donuts are excellent. Homemade honey buns, cake donuts, old fashioned & sour cream donuts, fritters, you name it. Definitely somewhere I will return again.

Hands down the best donuts I have ever eaten. I am from Southern California, which is where the standard is set for best donuts in the country. The glazed donuts are like putting a sugary pillow into your mouth. The apple fritter is the perfect blend of crunchy exterior, chewy/moist dough, and proper ratio of apple chunks.

We love the donuts, kolache, and breakfast sandwiches here! If you are looking for classic donuts, but want more variety than Shipley?s- come here! Mel makes great donuts & is consistent in the quality. My current favorite are his breakfast biscuits- the biscuits are perfectly flaky and buttery with egg, cheese & a meat choice (bacon, ham or sausage). There are no wrong choices on this menu!

The McGregor family only goes here for kolaches ?? and, there?s a reason! Every Sunday we get a fairly large order for the youth group, and even though we commute to Sugar Land, we always stop here. The church loves them and now anytime someone else needs donuts for their Sunday school or event, they ask us to pick them up for them because they?re better donuts and kolaches than anywhere in Sugar Land. I've been here a few times & I think I will make it my new spot for kolaches. It's a about $1.30/kolache but they are very good. I don't know the guy's name but he always serves me & is SO nice; he is what makes me want to come back. It's also a cool place because if you are an artist, they will hang your art up inside which I think is a neat idea. Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing. Mel knows many of his customers by name and often has their order ready before they get to the counter. You can tell he loves serving customers even more than making wonderful donuts and kolaches.

I grew up on Mel's donuts and kolaches. After leaving the Houston area for college and a career, I've never found a breakfast spot that can come close to Mel's. It's nearly impossible to find anything resembling a Texas kolache outside of Texas, and donut shops with the sort of variety you can get here on the Texas gulf coast are rare. OMG!!! I am not into pastries much or do-nuts but this place makes two things I really enjoyed and out did Simpley's kolaches. The Jalape?o sausage with cheese kolaches are @mazing, felt like i was eating a croissant kolache--- super light, and their boudain sausage (kolaches looking) was very good. Must try even if you might think the boudain one sound weird for a Do-Nut shop.

Pasadena has a love affair going with donuts. Riley's sells sugar crack to early morning customers, including me. It's bad for you, but we keep buying it. The coffee is adequate and I keep buying it too.

Shun the corporate donut! I only buy my donuts from Riley's. The support the community so much by letting student hold fund raising car washes all the time and the donuts are great!
