Riesbeck Food Market

I stopped by the customer service desk and stood there for a while without being acknowledged. Several employees were nearby, standing around and having a casual, non-work-related conversation, seemingly unaware or uninterested in helping customers. It was disappointing to feel ignored, especially at the customer service area where attentiveness should be a priority.

Riesbeck's meat is the best, you cannot argue with this! The smoked meat is amazing. Employees are very helpful. They frequently have sales so if you want to support local business you need to support them

Hot foods are generally good. Store is clean. Never have to wait to check out. Baked goods...haven't liked a single one. Rather tasteless. They used to be so much better.

Terrific selection, especially prepared meats, party trays, desserts. And always someone there to help you if you need it.

A great place to shop, for everything you need. It's a little pricey but that's the price you pay for shopping at a good old hometown store

Riesbecks is a family owned establishment, and I've grown up getting groceries here!! I always shop her for my family, and get the best value around!! Great prices, and amazing deals!! Meat is delicious, which means a lot to me! They have a cool points program, and I'm always getting stuff from free!! I've even exchanged points for gift cards!!!! Bought some groceries and decorative yard item. There is a deli area and a meat area if you want to select fresh meat/cheese. They had a large selection of flowers in pots and hanging baskets outside. Nice store!

This is a really nice store. It is much newer than Elm Grove. I only needed a few things, so I didn't get to look at the entire store. The produce section was well stocked. They have a full service bakery. I noticed a little Cafe set up for coffee. There is a huge deli. I didn't see the meat counter or the freezer and dairy sections, but I would have to assume they are sufficiently stocked as well. There were no lines at the registers and everyone was nice and friendly.

I had them bake/make a birthday cake for my son turning 5yrs. I was concerned because I placed the order over the phone. Once I got there to pick up the cake and I saw it, my concern went away. The cake looked better than I expected! (Incredible hulk themed) So, thank you, Riesbecks food mart! Personally, I'm going to "recommend" you to my friends & family!

This grocery store is a bit more expensive, but they have nice produce. It is a smaller store so, it?s great if you?re disabled or handicapped or elderly. It?s convenient too when we pick up our prescriptions at their pharmacy.

I love shopping here! Usually friendly and helpful employees with smiles. Its usually always close to closing time when I finish working and some places I've shopped at before the employees get visibly frustrated if you stop so close to closing time. The prices are high as to be expected from a smaller grocery chain, unfortunately, but I have never been disappointed by their staff. They keep a pretty clean store and you can see that they try hard to be organized and well stocked. The staff has been friendly and helpful every time and I will return.

I live within walking distance of St. C store, however I drive to Kroger because the prices are so much better for same products. I completely stopped going in because of extremely rude cashiers. I don?t think ? Grandma Riesbecks? would approve.

Ultra high quality for the region. Typical grocery store but with a higher standard of freshness in produce and meats. You will pay a little extra for this quality and the car side service provided, but definitely worth it if your a quality over quantity type of person.

Your prices are rediculous, you can tell just by looking at your parking lot how empty it is! This used to my favorite place to shop, it was a family atmosphere, ever since gas and oil workers moved in it seems that you all jacked up the prices, we don't all make that money they do, can't blame them, if I was able to work I'd be right there with them! I'm not the only one who feels this way, trust me!!

The store itself is the best in the valley. Clean, excellent selection, wonderful, delicious food in deli, fresh meat and produce. Unfortunately have had 2 bad experience with customer service. Most recently I had purchased some chicken from the deli which was handed to me in a plastic bag covered in grease. Holding it made my fingers feel like they were covered in Crisco. This place is INSANELY overpriced. Most things are double here than other stores, unless you catch it on sale and the freezer section stuff is always full of ice crystals.. like everything has been thawed and refrozen. Also, everyone I know complains about the rude old lady cashiers. The younger ones are always nice but the older ladies always just seem like they hate life and everyone in it. A very nice local grocery store chain. The staff is helpful, the stores are always sparking clean, and they have some of the best local bakery and meat departments. I love the drive up option that some of the stores offer, and the new online ordering option that the Saint Clairsville store offers now.

They have a good variety of specialty food(gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.). The workers are very friendly and helpful. If they are out of a product, they will do their best to accommodate their shortage. I rate the St. Clairsville location as my best store.

Could never get a weekend off even when some had every weekend off for yrs, couldn't get the weekend off before my vacations either, very much favoritism on the schedule. Convenient this store is frequently visited by seniors in the neighborhood. I think prices have always been TO DEAR for those who have no other options because of their transportation limitations. Although they are friendly and carry a wide variety of choices.

This is Riesbeck?s flagship store and it shows. Their corporate office is nearby. GREAT supermarket. Well stocked with a lot of variety. Great deli. This is the place to get Conn's chips. They have a whole section of them, in all the flavors. Love those Conn's! The staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is beautiful!

At a glance, the prices here may seem higher than at Walmart or Sam's Club. If you get a rewards card and get the Riesbeck's app on your phone, however, the coupons and rewards points can easily bring the price down. A convenient place to shop for groceries at reasonable prices. The bakery could use some improvements. Hardly ever the kind of baked goods you want. Stays open late though for those last minute shoppers.

At 730pm, there was only one register. The deli counter had already covered the bowls in the case. Was after a cheesecake but...in the bakery the cheesecake in the case had a quarter inch of ice crystals on them...several of them! I really did not want purchase anything from the bakery after that.

Great selection of produce, baked goods, deli items, and hot foods. The downfall here is that the layout makes no sense, and it's really difficult to finds items. Their Elm Grove store is much more organized.

This place is terrible. The groceries are extremely overpriced. The produce selection is horrible, both in variety and quality. They will also force you to take plastic bags even if you explicitly say that you don?t want them. It?s the worst. Go anywhere else

Waited in line to get a piece of fish to take home for supper. Got home all the way to uhrichsville and no fish. I put it on the conveyor with my other items don't know what happened to it wasn't on my bill neither. They did leave my sushi on the counter without packing it had to tell them that was mine or it wouldn't have got bagged. It was on my bill.

Love their St.Clairsville Ohio store. I now live in North Carolina, but have to visit this store every time I am in town (actually several times). They have the best pastry's I have eben eaten!

Stopped to purchase wine for Christmas Day shenanigans and the total came to $187.38 so $190 was handed to her (one $50, rest $20s) and she could not count the change so after her third attempt of counting and her getting frustrated with herself I asked for the money and counted it back to her. Perhaps Riesbecks HR department should lay out money on a table and make sure people know how to count money before hiring them ??

You know you are getting older when you have a favorite grocery store. Well Riesbecks is my favorite. They always have everything that I want. If you haven't tried ordering online and just picking up, then you should. It saves so much time.

They're a little pricy but they have the best hot and cold deli as well as baked goods from the bakery.

It's a great friendly place to shop. I can always get in and get what I need and get out without waiting. If the weather is bad they have drive up & I always leave with a smile from the customer service I receive.

Purchased 2 quarts of strawberries, about $5.00..they were bad,sour, tasted like fuel sprayed on them, or some chemical, bad taste..called..mgr. said had to bring back..take more than $5.00 in fuel to.run round trip, plus time..so, robins & birds are happy tonight, but no pie..
