Maybe it?s an off day. I usually like this place. It took 17 mins to get a bacon egg cheese out, and this is an off-hour (10:17 am). See attached photo for underwhelming BEC. The donut we ordered was dry. But son ate it anyway. He whispered that the donut he got at DD the other day was better. Bagels are a bit hard. Not sure it was baked this morning. They offer vegan options here and I missed them at first - sorry about that. So its importang to look and ask for these and other special options. The coffee cake I ordered was stale. I've gotten filet mignon from them and it was absolutely unreal! Super tender, insanely good quality and way better than what I've found at regular stores. As a life long New Yorker (NYC not upstate) I can comfortably say this is the best bagel shop in the area! Perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and delicious with the right amount of chew on the inside, just like a nyc bagel I miss. My favorite is the cheddar jalape?o bagel. Recently moved to Ridgefield and was looking for good bagels in town. These are the best not only in town but in the entire area. Perfect NY style ? crusty and chewy. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. High quality ingredients and never greasy. My only minor suggestion ? the everything mix used on the bagels has carraway seeds. Im not a big fan and sometimes they overpower the flavor. Without carraway seeds these by far would be best everything bagels ever !

Being from Tarrytown and having a GREAT local bagel spot I thought I couldn?t find a better bagel and coffee spot. It has a great vibe, great bagels, and a down to earth, fun to talk to staff and owner. Definitely recommend this place. Five stars without question.

Greetings? It?s my 3rd Visit. I never disliked a bagel so much. All three times, they are way too chewy and ?tough? texture. My bacon was fatty on two occasions. I had asked for it crispy. If I could give this place a 10-star rating, I would! I had a salmon bagel with smoked whitefish, and it tasted amazing. I also took home some baked goods, and everything tasted so wonderful and fresh. The staff was amazing everyone was so welcoming. Definitely coming back! ;)

Quality ingredients make a difference, and R B&B has the freshest ingredients. I have had a variety sandwiches, bagels and artisan cream cheeses. The raisin walnut is my favorite. The soups are delicious and ready to go salads are fresh and generously portioned. If you want a special treat, I recommend trying the coconut macaroons. They are delightful and the perfect balance of sweetness. Make sure to look on top of the baked goods display case for daily special offerings, that never disappoint.

I stopped going here after the owner insisted on charging me an upcharge just to get an appropriate (ie not completely dry) amount of butter on my weekly bagel. Sort of a slap in the face when it's already an expensive spot.

This is my go to for breakfast on days when I'm working in town. The staff is great, the atmosphere inviting, and there's no issues with ordering your food and hunkering down with their wifi for an hour or longer. Everything has been delicious and they carry garlic bagels, which just makes my misanthropic soul happy. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Steve's for years. The bagels are delicious. So disappointed in this new place. The bagels are dry and have no taste. They don't even look like a bagel. There is no hole. It is a blob of dough with no flavor encrusted in way too many seeds. Will travel to Bagel Crossing in Bethel. Another bagel store will open in Ridgefield where Kohls used to be.

The new owners are super friendly, space is nicely renovated. I broke my new years resolution for a generously filled jelly donut that wasn't overly sweet and just delicious. My son enjoyed the bagel and definitely an improvement in the coffee quality. These guys seem to know what they're doing and hope they become a main stay in Ridgefield.

These bagels are some of the best I've ever had. I'll be going out of my way to come back here. The only negative reviews have been from unfair and biased posters. The fermentation, the size, and the chewiness (even days later) are stellar. The sandwiches are in the right proportions, everything is made in house, and the drinks case has a solid choices. Way overbaked multigrain bagel, grains on top had the texture of pebble stones. Cream cheese looked and tasted like it was squirted on with a foam can.

In addition to fantastic bagels, the sandwiches are great- the bread is baked in house. Both chefs have worked at fantastic NY restaurants and we are lucky to have them join our town.
