Rick's Bakery

Really cute bakery, plenty of cakes, cookies, donuts, desserts to pick from. But what really stood out to me was the coffee. They have this flavor called hair of the hog, I will be dreaming about it for the rest of my days.

I?m sure they will taste good, but as a gift, I am very underwhelmed. The cookies on the left of the pic are ones I got out of the case the day I ordered. The unmarked pizza box on the right contains cookies I ordered. I thought a special order would at least have as much flare as the cookies in the case but I guess not. I?ll now have to rethink my ?gift?. Ugh!

Super charming bakery located right next to the hotel we happen to being staying at. My husband had a sweet tooth so we tried it out! Very charming inside, love the different areas and what they offer. Lots to choose from! We got a bit of a selection since we don't live here. First impressions, wow amazing looks to good to eat. A friend ordered a cake from them and it turned out perfectly! The whipped cream icing, lemon cake, and raspberry filling were so delicious! They were quick to respond to any questions and so helpful when we noticed a small error on the invoice.

for three years I got my wife imperfect birthday cakes. I went to Ricks Bakery this year and worked with the team and got a cake that was a huge hit. My daughter has gotten her birthday cakes from Rick's since she was 3 years old, she's now 7. (If anyone was wondering, I order the cake. I'm surprised you didn't take the time to make a funny comment.) Not only are the cakes beautiful to the eyes they are delightful on the tastebuds! The staff is so helpful and professional. I ordered a strawberry cake with strawberry jam and cream cheese filling layers for Mother?s Day for myself and daughter-in-law and it was enjoyed by seven people. I purchased my wedding cake from Rick's Bakery one year ago this week, and it was so amazing, I had to re-order a fresh cake for my 1 year anniversary. My husband and I got married in Eureka Springs, but live in Colorado, and loved our cake so much that we found a way to get another one made for our special occasion. 10/10 recommend this business for any occasion that needs a special treat! ??

I had ordered a cake for my daughter. It was supposed to be a red Velvet with raspberry filling a cream cheese frosting. It was a red velvet cake but no raspberry filling, it was frosting and it was not cream cheese frosting, it was buttercream because it was very sweet no one could really eat it. I paid extra for the picture on the cake, the filling and cream cheese. The cake was good but the other I was not happy with it. I think I should get some kind of refund for what I didn't get.

I placed an order for my son's 21st birthday. He celebrated this milestone while doing an internship at Walmart, so he had no family there to spoil him :( Placing the order for a cream cheese frosted carrot cake was easy. Best bakery in the area that we've found. Pastries have always been fresh. Cupcakes and cookies are hit and miss. They taste good, but are often a bit dried out. I just mix them with ice cream and that helps.

Love everything about this place as yesterday was my first time going! The only thing I can complaint about and it makes a HUGE difference to me for various reasons was ONE of the employees the one serving us was a complete jerk. She definitely needs to learn good customer service and how to talk to people. Everyone else wa since and respectful but that one. The worst experience I?ve ever gotten with a place that charged me $80 for a circle one layered gold cake with no decorations. Now the order went in the beginning of January was supposed to be a strawberry cake with a cowgirl theme. Rick?s Bakery made our wedding cakes for our wedding in May! We had a sampling appointment and we picked the white cake with white chocolate buttercream ?it was delicious! We wanted something simple with three tiers, it was gorgeous! We picked strawberry buttercream for the sheet cake, and a chocolate with chocolate frosting. Tried out the bakery part! I was surprised they had a sitting area and a deli. Will for sure have to try that out sometime!! Had a section for all the cakes plus balloons some decorations, cute party hats... giant party hats! ?? the donuts were amazing and I just got a plain twist glazed one! Super soft! The lemon danish was delicious also!!! Even tried a little hog cookie! Was tasty and the perfect size!!

Beyond disappointed with the cake we received. My 4 year old asked for a cowgirl themed cake and we received a cake with absolutely no decorations. They wanted to change the flavor to change the cake but my 4 year old specifically asked for strawberry. They had a month to figure out the decorations but wait until the day I have to pick it up to say their decorators somehow misread the ?cowgirl? theme that was clearly stated on the order form. Their resolution was to refund me $20, but there?s no resolution

Ordered from here for the first time for my sons birthday and wasn't disappointed. The cakes were amazing for a kids birthday party. The only thing I wish there wasn't so much icing on the big cake because damn it put most of us in a sugar coma lol. But overall taste and presentation was great definetly going to use them again.

This is a wonderful place to take your kids for breakfast and treats. Our favorite happens to be the Fayetteville location, but this place is a close second. Ricks is considered a hometown favorite. Our office often gets breakfast sweets? And lunch sweets and afternoon sweets and any other time sweets. Love Ricks!

A faithful copy of the Fayetteville original but with upgraded ambience. The pastries are plentiful. They are good and go well with the coffee. Everything is huge and worth the price. We got our wedding cake at Ricks and have been complimented on it for 12 years.

Not only are the cakes beautiful, they are absolutely delicious. This place seems to good to be true but I can promise it?s not! So grateful for them. A good bakery is essential for life.

What a delightful, dangerous place! Cases of pastries, donuts, cookies, and full size cakes and pies. We had hoped to find slices of pie, but we didn't leave disappointed. We bought an apple fritter, Napoleon (opera cake), and a big cinnamon crisp. All of them were good, tasting like they were made that day. We?d come here again when we?re in the area!

This bakery was just fantastic. We tried the biscuits and gravy, apple fritters, chocolate donuts, cup cakes, and ended up ordering a cake that looks phenomenal to pick up in the morning. Everything was just sooooo good. Highly recommend!

I had the strawberry cream cheese muffin. It was amazing and I highly recommend it with a hot cup of coffee. The glitter ceiling is so much fun.

Super friendly workers and amazing products. My best friend had this cake made for me for my birthday and it is the best cake I have ever had and so cute! They nailed Scrump perfectly. The marble cake and peanut butter filling was a perfect combination and the icing was to die for. They did a outstanding job and their desserts are hard to beat! Amazing quality and taste.

We ordered 2 cakes for our birthday parties. Our first experience was great. Everyone liked the decor and taste of the unicorn themed cake. The second cake (fishing theme cake) which we ordered last week turned out to be different than what we have requested. Instead of strawberry filling they have put cherry (which my kids hate so nobody ate it). I was disappointed. This is at Rogers bakery.

We have been coming here for pastries for a few years but haven't been for a while. While they do have a variety of things , currently the taste and quality has gone down A LOT . You used to carry many delicious baked goods that were unique and no one had. Now its all mostly donuts and cookies... bought a few danish yesterday and a cupcake, not very tasty. Disappointing because we loved this bakery and drove 40 minutes from where we live to you.

Read your orders more closely i ordered a dozen donuts and received one as well as tried to call the rogers location tor rectify which says is open until 8 and called at 7:03 no answer and a message saying you were closed.

If 3-Day old pastries and cookies is your thing, then you?ll love this place. I prefer cookies that are just hours old, not days. All baked items are reminiscent of a grocery store bakery- fine for the masses but not the discerning consumer who prefers bakeries that throw out or donate everything at day?s end and then start again the next day. The GF muffin was not freash, mush have been at least 1-2 days old because it was extremely dry. Sorry. We won?t be coming back because of this.

I had a great experience at Rick's. We sat on the dog-friendly patio and the atmosphere was great. The jalape?o cheddar sausage roll I had for breakfast was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. I love old-fashioned cake doughnuts, and theirs did not disappoint. The coffee was good too. I had a good experience here, and I would recommend it to others.

They did fantastic! I had custom ordered a red velvet cake for my girlfriend's birthday. I told them her favorite colors and flower, and then let them run with it and I was blown away. She absolutely loved it and the cake was delicious.

Worst cake I ever had I literally had to throw it away my teenage son 15 th birthday and no one could eat it . The icing was as thick as the cake and so dry it was like eating cardboard and tasted like it too. I thought they were special especially after paying the bill ugh got robbed.

I came in this morning and it was such big disappointment. I ordered 4 muffins and a cheese croissant. Muffins were old and cold! Cheese croissant had green stuff on it looked like mold. No coffee at all!! When I brought it to the managers attention she acted like I'm crazy! Told me coffee would be 5 min. Fine! Said the Muffins are normally this hard ok???? I don't think so!!

Last time we went about 2 months ago, we got dry subpar cupcakes. Thought they might have just been a little old or something. From the tasting to the delivery of our wedding cakes everything went great! Their wedding team was wonderful with communication and making sure that everything was just as we wanted it. Our cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing!!!

I dinged it one star as they use the word deli, if you are from the northern States, this is no deli. Sandwiches are just a side thing here. Also no bakery bread or hard rolls etc. The sweets in the bakery are however very good. Several flavors of giant fritters and the like. They also had a soda bar but I did not try it, Overall nice place to take the family.

When I asked the girl taking our order what type of rye bread they had she said ?I don?t know?, I then asked her what type of soda they had and she could only tell me 2 so I ordered water. When I bought some pastries she was standing behind the right checkout counter. I placed my purchase on the counter, she said ?no the other one?. Lots of young girls working there who were clueless and not friendly or engaging. I ordered a variety of cupcakes and a cheesecake and spent over $100. The cupcakes were pretty and well put together but so overly sweet. The cheesecake was mediocre and tasted like it had sat in a fridge too long. I?ve heard many people rave over this bakery but was very disappointed in staff and product.

It looks very nice. But the baked goods tasted like they were made from box mixes. I didn?t get the feeling that a baker worked there making goods from scratch. I grew up in Chicago. Bakeries were way better. I know what a great baked good tastes like. I didn?t appreciate the high prices and a 3% charge for using my card. Very disappointed. Maybe the deli foods are better. I haven?t tried them.

Love taking the kids here. Donuts are some of the best I?ve EVER had. The cake fillings and icing are really good, though I wish they had other vanilla flavor variations like yellow, buttermilk, etc. They only have white (and sugar free white) and it tastes exactly like store bought white cake (pillsbury, better Crocker, etc)

Worked with me on getting cake paid for at pick up! Appreciate that. The cake was great - the writing on the cake was not. It was rushed and smeared in a few places. I recommended them to a friend and the same comments. She loved her cake but the writing was not centered and smeared.

I've stopped in a few times and have tried a variety of things. The donuts are excellent and cinnamon rolls are done quite well too! As others have stated in other reviews the cookies are old and are simply a waste of money. The cookies look great but the taste isn't there. The staff is generally nice and helpful but I have had issues with a few of my orders in the past of getting the wrong item than what I asked for (my mistake for not checking the box/bag). Ricks Bakery is definitely worth a visit!

I love bakeries. And this one?s hard to review, based on its staple?status in the community. We got a wide selection of their baked goods, and overall were rather disappointed with the lot. Pro first: the raspberry turnover was great. Tons of flaky layers, great crunchy topping, and the raspberry filling was exceptional. Seriously, so good. My first time at this place. No Gluten Free selection as they advertised. Only ONE GF cupcake and a couple cookies. Bought the cupcake to try. Not a fan. It was not fresh and very dry.

The berry salad was very good and don?t think you would be disappointed but the sandwich was lacking and that?s why only 3 stars. Being a deli would have thought had fantastic deli rolls and breads but the sandwiches was made with thin sliced grocery store bread and advertising German bread just adding spicy mustard doesn?t make it anything from Germany.

Ordered a small 8" single tier heart shapped cake for my daughters 17th birthday. I asked that they use butter cream icing with light pink and white designs on the outside. I also requested the cake be strawberry with coconut cream filling on the inside. (Per my daughters request) imagine my disappointment when I picked up the cake and it had hot pink designs, with a white center and white writing. This bakery is...alright. The cupcakes taste like box cakes, and the frosting is overpowering. I can see a kid really liking this place though; the designs are pretty adorable on all the pastries. The employees are super nice, but the pastries are overpriced for what tastes straight from the Walmart bakery section.

I've had many great experiences with Rick's Bakery. Ive tried several of their birthday cakes each with their own unique design, each delicious and well made and decorated. My friend did have one underwhelming experience with them but they were able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently the morning of the party. All of the employees I've encountered there have been very kind and helpful. Will recommend on the future.

Great family spot for lunch. Half sandwich and cup of soup hits the spot. They have a brilliant selection of sweet treats from cake pops to the good ole chocolate chip cookie. They also have frozen ready to bake sausage rolls (perfect for a Sunday morning) and their cakes are always perfect.

Ordered a birthday cake and it?s just not good, I got 2 tiered cake and the vanilla part has too much vanilla in it. People couldn?t even it. Spent a lot of money and honestly I hate to say this but Walmart cake are better it?s sad!

Kolaches can NOT be beat. The donuts are delicious. Have to go early to get all the options because they do clear out. I think you can order the day before if you get enough. Looks a little chaotic when I come in during a busy time but the staff are all fantastic! They hustle and are very efficient and super friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of delicious treats for any occasion. I really like that they open early and have fresh cakes in the case for last minute grab and go.
