Best donuts in Maryville! With a long history of being in this local, I remember getting the donuts here on my way to school over 15 years ago. Parking is convenient in the back, just be careful parking in the front as it is on a busy road. Pricing is very fair and great for catering needs. I?ve never had a bad experience but I would highly recommend going in before the afternoon. By the time the store is closing they donuts aren?t nearly as good as when they are fresh. All around great place.

So much for National Doughnut day. They are promoting a free Doughnut and I was charged for 4 when I only ordered three. And if it was one free per person ( Party of two in my order) I should have only been charged for one and I was charged for 4. They weren't even busy , no line. We just happened to pass this place on the way to a local laundromat. We had to stop for a donut. Honestly I had the best Red Velvet donut I've ever had in my life. It was so moist and tasty. Honestly, this blueberry pancake doughnut deserves its own holiday. It?s like breakfast and dessert had a love child, and it came out perfect. Fluffy, fruity, and drizzled with what I can only describe as pure happiness. 10/10 would risk a sugar coma again.

Safe to say Richy Kreme is one of the best if not THE BEST donuts in the the Maryville/ Knoxville area. I?ve been there plenty of times and always satisfied. Went in today Saturday March 19, 2022. They had Girl Scout cookie themed donuts. Snagged the Samoa and dosido and they were amazing. All their donuts are flavorful and a treat. I also recommend the cinnamon rolls when they?ve got them! This is the best donut shop in east Tennessee. Hands down the best donuts I've ever eaten. The varieties are endless and the quality is second to none. They are rich & decadent. My favorite is the chocolate glazed fallowed by the boston cream. There is truly something for everyone at Richy Kreme. Now they have kolaches as well. I got the sausage & cheddar. It was very good. I highly recommend a visit to Richy Kreme but get there early as they can sell out.

I wasn't in the restaurant, but had a cronut! OMG. One of the best pastries I have ever eaten. Flaky, rich, fluffy and sweetly satisfying, is how I would describe it. Thanks Richy Kreme!

Who can complain about a maple glazed bacon donut? The donut dough and glazes were excellent. The Bavarian creme filling could have been a bit more custardy and more vanilla for my taste, but I enjoyed it.

Hands down one of the best donut shops we have had in the Knoxville area! There were lots of delicious options, everything tasted fresh, and the service was great! My family, and I decided to stop in this AM for a quick breakfast treat; however, the donuts were cold, dry, and tasteless. My husband?s Boston Cr?me was so hollowed out and empty, it made us laugh - additionally, my toddler who loves donuts, only ate the toppings to her donuts? so, I don?t think we will be back.

I came in around 11:15 on a Sunday morning and unfortunately their computer system was down. Even though it was still only a weight of about 10 minutes with four people in front of me and about 8 behind me when I got to the counter. Got an assorted top shelf. Doesn't go paid in cash to save them. Some worry and time. Always enjoyed their donuts and we'll be happy to come back.

They have a good product to work with. but the donuts were underproofed and overproofed. There was not much pride in the product. a little effort you can make the donuts look so much better in the Showcase.

I don?t buy a lot from f doughnuts so I don?t really have a comparison, but it was $18 for a mixed dozen. We went on a Saturday afternoon but they were still pretty tasty. My fave was the cinnamon glazed and that?s saying something cause I?m a jelly donut fanatic. The jelly one was also good though.

Not really worth going to this place. Their traditional frosted glazed donuts are all basically inedible because of how overly sweet they are. Their speciality stuff on the top shelf of the display were all pretty bad too, and almost all stale. Out of a dozen different donuts I only thought one of them was decent.

My husband went in to get our family donuts and they were disgusting. They tasted sour and incredibly dry. My 4 year old who loves donuts wouldn?t even eat them. This place just keeps getting worse and worse. So disappointing and probably won?t be back.

Good doughnuts friendly staff. We bought an assortment and all fresh and tasty. Came late morning and most sold out but that's how a bakery should be. Our first visit so we were disappointed that they don't put pastries in a box. Instead they wrap them on parchment paper then stack in a paper sack. Phenomenal donuts from here, dont even bother going to Dunkin. I got the strawberries and cream, chocolate cream filled and vanilla iced with sprinkles and they were all amazing and way better than I thought they were gonna be. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I actually didn't ask for the chocolate cream ones, I wanted the maple and cream and when I got home I saw that my order was messed up. But, regardless, they were still really good so I'm happy. I'll be back!

I am so thankful for the two closing people. I needed to use the restroom so badly and there wasn't a restroom anywhere. I walked up just as there were locking up and the absolute sweetest lady told me that they were closed but would help me,and asked what I needed. She let me use the restroom and then she gave me a doughnut and one for my brother in law. Both of the employees were so kind and im so thankful. Also the doughnuts were AMAZING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The donuts here are OK, but they dump so much sugar on them that it is hard to tell the quality of the actual donut underneath. I don't get the need to put both glaze AND icing on a donut. If you put that much sugar on a piece of bread it would probably taste about the same, just the texture would be different. If you want to have an actual good donut where the toppings are just an added bonus and not the whole flavor (or you can even eat it *gasp* plain), try Status Dough in Knoxville or Farragut.

Wonderful donuts, I prefer them over Krispy Kreme. They're very soft and always fresh. Our family loves the cronuts. The prices are very reasonable. The location is convenient and the people have been really nice! If I had to give a suggestion, I wish there were a little more consistency. For ex, I went in one time for a strawberry cream and it was all cream and a small red smear at the end (I'm not really sure how that happened lol) and then the second time it was the same but all strawberry and no cream.

This place has the best donuts and I never pass through Maryville without grabbing a dozen. And don't think about getting the donuts unless you also get the freshest milk that has ever touched your lips. Really amazing employees top it all off perfect. Highly recommend this place for sure

I give it a one star for the price and presentation of the product. I ordered a dozen punchies for pick up on Fat Tuesday. When the lady at the counter told me the price, I thought she was kidding. It cost $44.00 for the 12 small punchies, they were put sideways in the box and jamed together. Come to find out 2 of them did not even have the filling in the middle of them. Save your money and buy from the store, just as good.

Had a coupon for a free dozen donuts but had to buy $24.00 to get it. School coupon books are useless. Parking is a nightmare trying to pull out on a busy road.

This small donut shop is worth a stop everytime you are near. The donuts and other delicious treats are made right next door. There is limited parking in front, but more in the back. The donut are just delicious, not too sweet but just right. Other baked items I have tasted are also excellent! Heck, even the milk is rich and tasty.

We have been going to Richy Kreme for several years and we were so excited to see the new owners and shop. The donuts were great at the start, big donuts, so full of creme and great priced. Now they are still pretty good but they are small, much less creme and much higher priced. So sad!

Many changes have taken place since the original owners. They are supplying some stores and restaurants apparently, so it's more institutionalized now. The donuts used to be very unique, but it seems they are getting more standard like Dunkin these days. Still good donuts, but pretty expensive for what you get. Richy Kreme has been one of the area's outstanding, unique experiences for decades, but I'm afraid its growth has cost it a lot of its special flavor.

Bought two dozen for business meetings, and they were a big hit! Good, unique taste, and nice mixture of options. This is probably Maryville's favorite morning stop. If there was a better known place to eat in town it would be a hard claim. Everything here is super sweet as you would expect. Been there since the 1950s, maybe longer. A favorite childhood memory is ordering a dozen donuts that were delivered warm, with grease stains on the paper bag. Each donut was huge, the size of a big saucer. The modern version is closer to modern donut size and standards, and still exceptional, with a larger range of filled donuts. Their donuts are the best in Blount County, and a sack of their donut holes are nothing short of amazing. The staff has always greeted me and my kids with smiles ? even let my kids have a spoon of frosting one time! Poor service. Ordered two boxes of donuts with full intentions of coming to pick them up. When I called to make sure they were ready they told me that someone besides me picked up my order, which I did not tell anyone to pick them up for me, and their response was ?well we are closing here soon and have no more donuts?. I gave them plenty of time to make it up to me and even called them the next day and they pretty much told me oh well again. Will never go back there and will encourage others not to.

The make them fresh almost every morning. I got a dozen for $11. Best bang for your buck. The salted caramel is awesome and the cream filled ones are sooo tasty. A few had a less filling than i wanted but otherwise it is a great idea to pick up something to eat from here.

Me and my family have been getting donuts here for almost 40 years. There isn't one flavor that isn't delicious. I've had other donuts from other shops and these are the best of the bunch. Prices are very reasonable and the service is great.

Been a Richy Kreme customer since the 60's. Today was first visit since the remodel and the donuts have definitely changed, not as much glaze as before. I will give them one more chance but from reading other reviews about the recipe change dont hold out much hope.

I am not a huge donut fan but my husband loves Richie Cream...or he did love them. Recently, I picked up a few for him as a surprise. He was so disappointed! He said the simple glazed were very different in texture and flavor, and that the Apple Uglies were just plain awful. No apples, and basically just a squished up cinnamon roll. He says he will not be going back there again. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Richy is best overall donut spot in Maryville. Only weak spot on the menu is the apple fritter, Donut Palace fritter is much better and 3 times the size. Richy is definitely the place to go unless you want an apple fritter.

Talk about exceptional! From the doughnuts to the service this place continues to live up to its name and provides ample reason why it?s been around for so long. Great donuts, none of the old frying oil flavor or the stiffness from being left out in the air for too long. Reasonably priced, less than $1 a donut if you buy a dozen. Accepts Credit, but you have to make a purchase of >$5. Location is a hole in wall across from the Baseball field, so watch out or you'll drive right by it, like I did.
