RI Guys Donuts

Tried this long awaited Wakefield donut location yesterday. I ordered a simple glazed donut and a cinnamon roll. As a point of reference, of all the glazed donuts I?ve ever had, the best is from a regional super market chain (which will remain nameless) and is 99 cents. As another reference point, before retirement, I travel extensively on a weekly basis and tasted a lot of donuts. Wow what a pleasure to have such good and tasty donuts. I'm 59 and I grew up on dunkin donuts and Bess Eaton back in the 70's , when they were made in house,.they were excellent but not now. Now, to the review, excellent made donuts that put a smile on your face!! The chocolate cruller was a 10, glazed jelly was excellent as well as the toasted coconut chocolate.

Very tasty -- one of the best Boston cream donuts I've had -- but also super sweet and very heavy. If that's your preference, then these will be heavenly, and they are certainly tasty even if that's not your preference. A good bagel, too!

Went for RI food fights Donut love fest, we chose the chocolate glazed and apple filled cinnamon donut. The service was quick even though there was a huge line and the cashiers were super nice.

This place has the best bagels locally in my opinion. Everything is good except yall need to calm down with the sugar. 1 sugar is like a heaping tablespoon in my small tea and this happens with every shift. 1/2" pile on the bottom of the small cup. I also ordered no sugar a few times on my way out of town and they put in sugar. My wife and friends all say the same thing about waaaay too much sugar.

I have ordered the same bagel sandwich for weeks and they keep charging me different prices! The last several times it has been $5.40 today..$6.48, wth who is pocketing the difference??? Exact same sandwich! I feel scammed and will no longer be getting it there. The girl at the window was also kinda rude today too. I have never found that here and I love their donuts but feeling pissed off about the price change.

My family requests that we get donut cakes from RI Guys Donuts every year. We all love them!!! We have done the original shaped O but also have had a heart, ?? shaped, and have done letters. The bakers here are so talented and honestly they have to have a pinch of magic up their sleeves..... the donuts last for much longer than average ones. I highly recommend visiting not just for the magical donuts but for the friendly smiles too. I can't wait to visit the new shop!

Wow! URI students are so lucky they have this place on campus. Knew I would love this place because I heard they?re similar to Allie?s which are the real deal. The old fashioned donuts are where it?s at. All regular donuts are only $2. My favorite was the glazed blueberry stick. It was unbelievable! First experience here and it was a good one! I ordered a donut cake for my daughter?s 5th birthday?ordering over the phone was so easy and it was ready to go at the correct pick-up time. This thing was delicious. The outside was a bit crunchy and the inside was perfectly cooked. It was huge and fun, and the price was great. 10/10 recommend.

We booked RI Guy?s Donuts as our dessert option for our wedding on 10/7/2023. The donuts were AMAZING. We got the classic donut with vanilla frosting and white sprinkles. Had my first Donut from the shop this evening. I had the Maple. Believe me, I have had my share of Donuts. I only compare it with one other bakery in Rutland Vermont, Juniper Rising. Anyway, the Maple Donut was large, light, not yeasty like others I have had. The Maple was the best Donut I have ever had.

RI guys donuts has been my go to donut place when they opened. Just when I didn?t think they could get better, they did. I ordered a cake for New Year?s Eve, and even set a reminder for me pick it up and forgot. They called to let me know and I was over an hour away. Heard about this new donut spot in rhode island. Really good and tasty, this needs to be a go to on your donut trek thru Rhode island, Connecticut or Massachusetts. So many good attractions in the area to check out if you are down this way. But make sure you stop here.

Ordered a cake for Xmas Eve pick up and it wasn't ready, had to wait over a half hour! Thought I would try them this year but service was poor, back to Allie's Donuts next year!

The staff here is so sweet! I brought my four-year-old on his birthday to pick up a donut cake and when they heard that it was his birthday they brought out a donut with purple sprinkles all over it since he had said it was his favorite color! Not only was it delicious, it was a wonderful example of how kindness and generosity affects how we feel-a great lesson for a child. Thank you.

I went in with my Fianc? to grab a couple doughnuts before our road trip and was sadly disappointed. Who ever was behind the counter didn?t really look at me when I was ordering just mostly looked at my fianc? and when it was time to pay they stuck there hand out like my fianc? was the one paying which is very sexist I think. Other than that the doughnuts where a 3/5 tasted like any other doughnut I?ve had. The sprinkles on one were very hard like stale so we threw it out. Next time maybe it?ll be better.

Pick up 12p, you get there early and it?s not ready okay. You go back for pick up and they tell you another 15 minutes ! Really, maybe you shouldn?t t have taken so many Christmas orders if you couldn?t keep up. You?re not the only place people have to be today! GET IT TOGETHER!

Good tasting donuts. However, The filled donuts, are NOT filled, period. Very Limited selection. My old fashioned with maple, had very little maple topping. Was excited years ago when this spot opened but it has done nothing but disappoint. Making the customer happy, not on the menu!

Been seeing the donut cakes at Dave?s and finally broke down and got one. It?s a sweet carb with frosting on it, but aside from the absolute garbage ingredients it tastes like a soft bread, not a donut. Allie?s donut cake blows this away?and their ingredients might not be great either, but at least Allie?s is rich and indulgent and actually tastes like a donut. Sorry guys, I hate to bash local business but it?s an honest review.

This is the best donut shop in Rhode Island and beyond! This so what good donuts Usta taste like. Fluffy light and airy with just a little bit of crispiness for that fresh fried taste and feeling. I've been there over a dozen times. Coffee's good but the donuts are absolutely incredibly good. The only reason I don't go back more often is that I would be 400lbs.

These look and taste like a lesser quality version of Allie's Donuts, which is perplexing because Allie's aren't that great. From what we had everything was overpriced, stale, not that particularly innovative (which for most mediocre donut shops means sprinkling bits of malt-o-meal on a corn syrup glaze). Don't bother.

It starts with me ordering an iced coffee with mocha. The kid behind the counter seems like this was a laughable request and had the face of a jester, he then questioned my choice and asked where do I see that as if it wasn?t broadly posted on the massive menu hanging over his head. He looks around for a moment to check if anyone else is seeing this as if my order is out of pocket and needs to make sure someone else is hearing this right.
