Stopped by for a treat this week and absolutely love the whole experience. Street parking was super easy and I walked in and was greeted right away. The selection looked amazing and I ended up ordering the lemon cello old-fashioned and the cinnamon roll doughnut. Both of them were absolutely amazing. I also ordered a peach lemonade to drink and that barely made it home. Overall, I would definitely come back and I?m looking forward to my next visit.
The coffee was good and the espresso was excellent. Pleasant staff and the atmosphere was fine. But this place is majorly overrated. The doughnuts were a disappointment. They present well but the yeast doughnuts were tough and chewy. The Toasted Almond cake was underdone and the glaze and drizzle were so sugary it overwhelmed the taste of the almonds. Tasted like I put a spoonful of cane sugar in my mouth. The same was true with the praline pecan. Glaze was so sweet you couldn?t taste the pecans. The chocol
Amazing vegan donuts! Hubby and I chose the bakery because I thought they had one type of vegan donut. Which is usually the case, if they have any. Too our pleasant surprise they had 4. The vegan apple fritter was huge and delicious so much so we grabbed 2 and 2 other kind to freeze for later. The coffee was perfect as well. If you?re looking for a vegan treat this is the spot. 5 stars all the way ?? ????????
Always enjoy stopping by for a coffee and a donut. The coffee is consistently great, and the donuts are creative and homemade. Some are a bit on the sweeter or denser side for me, and if you go later in the day, they?re not always as fresh. There?s usually a line depending on the time and day, but it moves quick. Lovely staff and fun vibes! Overall, a great spot for quality coffee and something sweet.
Revolution Donuts & Coffee Layout/atmosphere *Six tables; two three-seat window counters Food/drink *Vanilla Bean donut (yeasted) - very good; well frosted *Raspberry Sprinkle donut (yeasted) - very good; legitimate raspberry flavor
Coffee was pretty good, and lots of cool donut flavors. Service was terrific and friendly, plus if you?re CC you?ll feel welcome. Decent CO2 levels too when it was crowded inside.
I started coming to this location during the Decatur location?s renovation, and it did not disappoint! Super cute layout inside and easy parking across the street. I recommend the crunchy mister, the caramel bacon, and the everything bagel donut! Good coffee as well
I'm a food snob and these are the best donuts you can buy anywhere. Totally impressed came in to get two Donuts after I tasted them had to get a dozen so I could share with friends.
Awesome changing selection of donuts, with lots of vegan options. My wife and I really like this place. And great, quality coffee, as well. We go often.
Probably my least favorite donut I tried in the neighborhood. The Vanilla bean yeast was good and fresh, but I was disappointed in the cake donut. The apple fritters may actually have been my favorite. I also got a cold brew and it was okay. Definitely go during the weekdays though, I got in and out of there very quickly!
Came here while in the O4W area, and had a pleasant experience. Some of the usual faves on display, but definitely some different flavor combinations here on the donuts. Got an apple fritter, which was almost a little crunchy(but good), a pecan praline donut, and a salted Caramel. Their donuts are more of a thicker, cake style. Donuts priced on a tier system. More complex = higher price. Also grabbed a couple of chai tea lattes, which were excellent. Park on the street, or in the gravel lot right across fro
Love that they have a gluten free dairy free option!! As someone who can?t eat dairy or gluten, finding good sweets can be hard. I do enjoy the doughnuts here - my main complaint is there is only 1 GF flavor a month - and it rotates the flavor every month. Most of their items are vegan. It would just be nice if they offered multiple GF options at the same time. Also if they had a GF yeast based one - most of the donuts here are cake based, which is not my preference. There?s always a line but it moves fast.
Really great vegan donuts! They're not super oily and they nailed the texture of regular donuts. The raspberry one actually had some nice tartness to it, unlike a lot of places pink donuts
These colorful donuts look tempting, each with a unique color and shape. The outer skin is very crispy and melts immediately upon entry. The filling is soft cream with moderate sweetness, paired with a cup of chocolate, giving a lasting aftertaste. Each donut is handmade, with excellent taste and quality.
The donuts were amazing ??. They have some really unique and interesting donut flavors. Their drink selection is also very nice, because what's a donut without a beverage? It's a lonely donut.
It was really nice. The yeast donuts are big and fluffy. Had the Samoa donut that was really good. Had a Crispy Mister (their version of a croque monsieur), it was kinda ok. Can't really place my finger on what I didn't like. My friend got the blueberry basil and said it was good. They gave me my total for the donuts as if hurrying me along without asking if I wanted a drink. Online they show they do tazo tea on pre-order, but couldn't find it on the board or flavors to pick while in store.
Forget Krispy Kreme, Dunkin, and all your franchise donut shops? THIS is the place for fresh delicious donuts. The selection caters to all donut lovers and takes into consideration food allergies as well.
By far the best doughnuts in Atlanta ! Been there many times. Too many times ?? My only complaint is there is one employee that has been rude to me twice. Forgot to grab my receipt for my expense report and when I came back in she yelled at me for apparently cutting in the line. Made me go to back. Fortunately the very nice person at the register gave it to me without have to wait again. Still giving 5 stars and won?t let one angry person affect my review.
I love this place and their doughnuts but they do tend to run out of the more popular flavors earlier in the day. Unfortunately, the limited hours make it difficult to visit at all much less, at a time when they still some of their more popular options.
one of the best vegan doughnuts we've ever had! these doughnuts are very tasty. We will return!
My son loves every type of donut that exist, so I thought it was a great idea to bring him here. It was his treat for making such good grades. And just like I thought, he was in donut heaven. I'm not a big sweet or so this visit was about him. The variety of donuts even had me intrigued. The donuts are very nicely sized and made from scratch. They have gluten-free as well as vegan Donuts as an option. There's also a coffee bar. Donuts prices seemed appropriate, especially for the size. Most Donuts run about
Whether you like the classics or you are in the mood for something eclectic, Revolutions Doughnuts got you! A quaint corner store that has a line out front of eager regular waiting their turn for to get in and get their fav donut and a cuppa joe greets you into its world. Well, doughnuts were quite nice and the one that stood out to me (and a flavor I hadn?t tried before) was Orange and Pistachio. Would be looking to coming back here for some more?
Probably my favorite donuts in Atlanta! Sublime is really close though. Enjoy that revolution has cake and yeast donuts. The Almond donut is hands down my favorite! Also can't go wrong with the blueberry or the vanilla bean. The chocolate pudding is a VERY dark chocolate. A little too dark for me, but if you are a dark chocolate person this is up your alley. Yeah, they are not cheap. But, you pay for quality.
Love this place. The doughnuts are soooo tasty. A little expensive comparatively, but one gets what they pay for. Good ingredients come with a price, and they taste like quality. I pick some up to take back to Virginia to freeze. It's a must go-to place while in ATL.
Person working the counter was very helpful in giving us flavor recommendations as it was our first visit, but the doughnuts themselves were very disappointing across the board. I'm a fan of well executed yeasty doughnuts, but these were some of the most dense and unpleasantly bready I've had. The apple fritter had decent flavor, but it was borderline raw in the center. The peaches in the peach doughnut were very acidic and seemingly not ripe. The rest didn't have glaring flaws, but none of them were memora
A vast variety of flavors with multiple tiers of complexity/price. Mostly yeast donuts but some cake varieties too. I got the tiramisu and the lime glazed one (both yeast based). I wanted to like them more than I did; the donuts were quite yeasty and chewy, and it felt like eating a sweet glazed sourdough bread loaf. My wife enjoyed them more than I did. I would definitely come back or try the cake varieties however.
Excellent spot if you are vegan and craving sweets. The donuts here are so great, and when I visited I found most of their donuts to be labeled vegan (6+) of all different flavors! Also serves hot and cold coffees, teas, and lemonades. Service was kind and quick, and it looks like street parking is available nearby. A great stop if you?re the southern end of the Beltline!
Wow this place is amazingly HORRIBLE!! The customer service is by far morale killing. The workers are really not health code Conscience because the young lady servicing the donuts was constantly rubbing whipping her face and nose and never washed her hands nor did she glove that hand. No warm welcoming (hello welcome in) definitely first & last time coming here. The doughnuts are extremely horrible as well very dry brittle. Taste as if they are 2 day old doughnuts. The structure is horrible for this to be s
Revolution Doughnuts is the place to go for delicious doughnuts. We happened to find this place by chance, and we rushed in because it was closing very soon. Fortunately, the staff were extremely kind and pleasant and helped us choose since it was our first time there. There were lots of unique donuts on display, so it was hard to choose! Every flavor we ended up getting was magnificent. If I had to choose some favorites, they would be the raspberry sprinkle and the chocolate pudding filled donuts. The donu
The cappuccino crunch donut is top tier. I came in on a Saturday and only one person was in front of me in line. I was helped quickly and the staff were friendly. The coffee is decent but really it's all about the donuts and they do not disappoint. They don't over fry the dough but it's still got flavor and texture. The cappuccino has the perfect amount of coffee flavor for me. I didn't get to try any others but I'm sure they're all amazing. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area.
Line looks long because they just allow one or two groups in at a time so basically everyone you see is everyone waiting in line. The inside isn't also totally full. Don't be discouraged, it's absolutely worth it. Doughnuts are soft and delicious. Coffee is tasty. Everything is hand crafted and DELICIOUS ?? menu changes monthly to feature what's in season.
Love this place!! Always good service and the donuts and coffee are delicious. Fave donuts: Orange Pistachio (sooo sweet) Peppermint (seasonal) Almond Cake Toasted Coconut Jam Filled (passion fruit is good!!) Least Favorite Donut: The Everything Donut - savory donut similar to an everything bagel. I had high hopes for this guy, but it was sooooooooo very salty. I tasted nothing but salt when I took a bite. I looked at the top and there appeared to be at least a teaspoon of large salt flakes on top!! I lov
Amazing donuts! Most are vegan too other than a couple. Cute atmosphere on the inside too and easy to find street parking nearby.
e got a jam sufganiyot and pecan pie doughnut today. They look great but they tasted so stale. We also ordered a couple of lattes, which were good. We are just disappointed with the doughnuts.
I was only here to meet a tour group, but the service was really friendly when I ordered despite how crowded they were. The latte was fine but nothing special. I tried the savory doughnut and it was pretty good for a doughnut (which I'm not typically a fan of).
Oh my goodness, these doughnuts are SO delicious. They are baked by folks that know a lot about balancing flavors, so they are wonderfully sweet, but always with something to balance the flavors. When I was on maternity leave, I had to make a rule that I could only go here every other day. I would have gladly eaten these doughnuts every day!
DEEEEEEELICIOUS!!! Took my kid to get donuts for his birthday since he?s been begging me for vegan-friendly donuts. I caved and found this place. Glad I did because he loved them! The donuts were moist and full of flavor! Won?t be the last time here! We both enjoyed!
The screaming homeless lady was priceless. I was not having a good day. I was able to calm her down and her a bag for her food. The poor girls behind the counter threatened with the police. I asked her what did she need? She said a bag and continued cursing me out. I made her say thank you. She thanked me and I said bless you, you're lucky, I wish I could scream like you. Have a great day. She smiled and told me to have a good day and get out. I love Atlanta and these doughnuts were amazing. Oh I had a neop
Love love love! Their doughnuts, the only thing that I?m not a fan of are their business hours & the quantity they make. I would love if they offered SAME DAY ordering like their comp. They have a huge customer base & always have a crazy line so staying open another hour or two and making an additional dozen of their popular flavors wouldn?t hurt anyone. Not sure if this is on purpose to create a sense of exclusivity or sense of urgency but it's way more money to be made, why not get it? lol If you want do
To be honest I was a little disappointed with Revolution but there were some redeeming options today. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean. There was nothing markedly bad about our experience, but the vanilla glaze and cookie dough donuts weren?t good in my opinion. I think for me it was that the donut to glaze/topping ratio was off and I thought the cookie dough bast itself was mealy and stale tasting. The pizza donut was amazingly our favorite! We also like the salted caramel donut and the blu
Vegan, deliciousness!! A total must try!! These are ?Almond Joy?, Lemon Poppy, and Orange Pistachio! The Almond joy didn?t had amaretto in the filling, which isn?t my favorite flavor but over all it was still yummy. The others were SO amazing!! Not too sweet and really high quality. Can?t wait to go back.
We arrived at approximately 4:00PM so the selections were very limited. We were able to enjoy the salted caramel cake, and chocolate. We also had a non dairy latte, and black coffee. They're coffee was super delicious(very bold) The donuts were good. The flavors were perfect. The cake donut was a cross between a biscuit and cake. Staff was delightful, helpful, and patient.
Their vanilla glazed donut might be the best, ?plain? donut in Atlanta? it?s seriously good. I love going in to see what the specialty donuts are every time.
I thought it tasted pretty darn good.... especially considering that it's vegan. My first bite had a funny after taste, but as continued, it went away fairly quickly. I had the Vanilla Bean donut and it taste just as good as a Dunkin Donut. I would definitely go back after I get off this diet I'm starting tomorrow. Lol..... I've been eating waaaaaaaay too much of everything. But please, go and enjoy!
Love love love!!! Amazing! You can tell these were fresh! Love the creativity of donut flavors. The everything bagel donut was the most surprising. Definitely a must try! Everything was 10/10 for us! Can?t wait to try more!
Push through line entrance and exit. Got apple fritter, not much apple in it, but very good and crunchy. Tried a sweet potato pie donut, this was very good. Cafe latte to hydrate. No inside seating and expensive
Baybeee these donuts are BOMB! I treated myself after yoga and they did not disappoint! I got the 3 Tier Limonella, Vanilla Bean, and Ham & Cheese Donuts. I also enjoyed an Iced Mocha with it. Everything was fresh and well prepared, I love customer service with a smile ?? I will be back soon for my sweet tooth
I've been a longtime customer of this shop and have always received excellent customer service and delicious donuts, so it truly pains me to say this, but morally, I can no longer support a business that forced their employees to come in during incredibly unsafe weather conditions including the recent hurricane and today's snowstorm. Putting profits before the safety of your employees is not something that I can let fly, so Revolution Donuts will no longer be receiving any of my money. I can only hope that
Came here on a rainy Friday morning and ordered a Bacon Caramel Yeast Doughnut and OMG it was more than I could have ever imagined. I am obsessed with doughnuts and have had my share of caramel/maple doughnuts and this one takes the cake. The dough had a great soft texture and slight crispy edge to it. The caramel has this bacon essence which was incredible and totally transported me to my childhood memories of camping. I loved how it had a bacon taste without it having loads of big bacon pieces on top. I a
I LOVE THIS PLACE I mostly just try the yeast donuts because I believe in fluffy donuts not cakey ones. I also am vegan and there?s tons of options which is amazing. Favorite flavor is cinnamon sugar out of dark choc, raspberry, and blueberry. But raspberry is a close second (just haven?t had a chance to try vanilla bean glaze but it looks like a winner too). When it?s summer and it?s back on the menu, the peach donut (called something different) is my absolute #1!!!
THEE. BEST. DONUTS. EVER!!! Worth the wait, worth the money, they were absolutely incredible. So soft, not dry, perfect flavor and sweetness. 10/10 recommend.
I give them five stars for creativity and options for vegan individuals. But for overall best donuts not quite there. I tried eight different flavors and other pretty enjoyable. They are the cheapest donuts as eight of them cost me $23 but it?s a fun treat to come and get every once in a while. The chocolate blackout donut was the best cake style doughnut. I also enjoyed the vanilla glaze and the cinnamon and sugar. I thought the peach donut was a pretty clever idea the peach was a little more tart and pair
Great doughnut in Atlanta, even I ate a day after (keep in fridge) and didn?t warm the doughnut still taste so good.
We visited Revolution Doughnuts when we were on a day trip to Atlanta. It was SO refreshing to walk into a place to get breakfast for our vegan family and have so many options to choose from. Typically it will be one option if any at all. And even more importantly... They were INSANELY delicious. We look forward to coming back next time we are in the area.
These are the best doughnuts hands down! Still as amazing as I remember them from 6 years ago. Will be dreaming of these doughnuts till I can make it back to Atl.
Best donuts in Atlanta. Hands down. They catered are wedding and we got mini donuts for our baby shower. They have seasonal donuts like fresh peach sliders and blueberry that are the BEST.
These donuts are sublime! Customer service is always pleasant. I wish they were open longer.
Great local vegan donuts! I?ve been going semi- regularly since 2019. Almost all of the donuts are vegan & they also have a gluten free donut of the month along side their other monthly donuts. Highly recommend the fritter of the month (especially if it?s the pear cardamom fritter aka the best one). They?re always delicious and can be quite creative.
This little donut shop was quite the fun break from hustle and bustle of our busy day in Atlanta. The atmosphere was young and hip. The food looked and tasted great. We ordered the Christmas special of Cranberry and Orange. It tasted fresh and tart and sweet all on the same bite. The donut was fluffy and the icing was perfectly glazed. A must try if you find yourself roaming Atlanta with an urge to munch.
Wonderful spot for breakfast or a sweet treat. Great assortment of doughnuts with delicious flavors including seasonal options. They all look beautiful and had perfect texture. Coffees and teas are equally delicious and well crafted.
Purchased 6 donuts. Salted caramel, cinnamon sugar, lemon poppy seed, strawberry, cappuccino, and carrot cake, in order of best to worst. However, very donut was incredible. Will return tomorrow to purchase a salted caramel donut to eat with my morning coffee. Out of all the gourmet donut places i've been, this one is by far the best.
When I walked in, I immediately thought the different doughnut flavors on the case's shelves were beautiful. The employees greeted me and were very nice, in particular mentioning a buy 3/get 3 sale that day. In fact, I heard the staff telling customers who wanted 3-5 doughnuts to just pick the rest of the half-dozen for free! I ended up choosing the blackout chocolate cake doughnut, which was pleasantly chocolate, as well as nice and cakey. It was enjoyable, though very crumbly. For a caf?, it's surprisin
Famous for their savory donuts, this might be the best donut in town. My personal favorite is the seasonal fruit-stuffed. To compliment the delectable treats is a thorough coffee menu.
I go for years to this location due to Gluten Free allergies. Wish that was a larger selection for GF instead of one option for entire month.
As a non Vegan I loved their sugar donut. My vegan wife loved them all but she especially loves the vanilla bean and the raspberry sprinkle.
This is my new favorite doughnut shop! The guy who helped us was so friendly and polite and the treats were amazing! They tasted incredibly fresh. Being vegan, finding this donut shop was a total blessing. Five stars all the way!
Cute and quaint atmosphere. The smell was delightful upon entering. I ordered 3 doughnuts and the raspberry fritter. I enjoyed the fritter the most! It was fresh, sweet, moist and tart all in one bite.
You have to get doughnuts before noon if you want seasonal specialties before they're sold out. I love the dense moistness of their original cake doughnuts, especially the vegan options, like coconut, almond, chocolate glaze. I don't think the maple glaze comes in vegan, but it's delicious and highly underrated. Covid changed the homeliness feel, but service is friendly most times, not every time, but it's swift and efficient - they definitely have a rhythm. I'm not a big fan of their standard drip coffee,
Love this place! Many options for vegans and non-vegans and the donuts are just so good!
A cozy place to get coffee and doughnuts-- it is also a good work or study environment as long as you have your own hotspot. Very accommodating, clean bathrooms, and a lot of options for both coffee and doughnuts.
Donuts here are amazing and hearty. They are so hearty they can be meals! The location is convenient and the staff was friendly. Parking is pointless so walk to take a scooter.
Place was busy even right at opening. Service was efficient and it took no time to get in and out with a donut. There are a couple of seats outside to enjoy your doughnut and there is a place to lock your bike outside. Got the peach slider and the peaches tasted fresh and excellent.
The donuts here are ok. And its a nice atmosphere if you want a coffee shop to go to for a while. I would give it a 6/10
It's such a cozy place. They have the best donuts and the flavors are updated every month, so you can try out a LOT of stuff. It's also really affordable, so that's a bonus!
Very good cortado, my standard for rating coffee shops. UPDATE: I returned a day later to try their coffee. They had a very nice medium roast on tap that was smooth with notes of cherry and cocoa (no citrus????). I also grabbed a donut for a friend (old fashioned carrot). They gave it high praise.
Always insanely good. I drive into the city for these.
So good!! You won?t regret stopping by to get some donuts and coffee drinks. They also have standard breakfast drinks like chai tea latte and orange juice. Loved this place
Best vegan donuts I've had so far! Their festive and seasonal donuts are pretty cute and fun too. I prefer the yeast ones over the cake ones but both are good.
We order the Toasted Almond Big Ol' Cake every year for a vegan family member and it's always fantastic. The cakes are dense, moist, and delicious. Of course we have a couple of donuts while we are there. Many vegan options, and donuts to satisfy both yeast donut fans and cake donut fans. Great coffee, too!
Their lavender lemonade was absolutely delicious, though overpriced. I wanted to love the doughnuts, but they tasted more like bagels. The flavors and icing were great, but they were way too thick.
Today I picked up two donuts and was serviced by Bri! She is professional, kind and very knowledgeable of the products they're selling, the chocolate donuts are amazing and I'm grateful for the recommendation, I can only imagine what the double chocolate cake donut tastes like haha. Thank You So much Bri, your kind gesture was not overlooked. Khef from Khef's Wavy Rentals LLC
This was my first time visiting, I?d been to Rev coffee 10 years ago but not this location. These are some of the best doughnuts I?ve had in Atlanta! They have cake style and your typical more fluffy style, also many are vegan and some are gluten free. I got the Raspberry, Strawberry Lemonade, and Salted Caramel doughnuts, all were stellar! Will definitely be back sometime. It appears that the doughnut menu is seasonal and changed monthly. The only downside I have to say is it?s street parking only, I went
Revolution donuts delivers on two things almost perfectly: quality and experience... Though you will spend more per donut than your average dunkin location, the delicious pastries will satisfy you far more and leave you feeling refreshed vs stuffed. I found the natural risen donuts to be light and tasty and the toppings are flavorful with the absence of excessive sugar. The people who work here are also a treat. They fit the cabbage town/Edgewood look and attitude. That being said, they aren't jaded hipste
First- their ordering protocol is great. They buzz you in and you order and move thru the line exiting out the side. The donuts are great. So good they make can vegetarians regret their life choices. The raspberry lemon looks straight out of the Simpsons cartoon - it looks so perfect it makes you say donuts. The ham and cheese donut should have been terrible but it was a nice little surprise. Every donut especially the peaches and cream snit was spectacular. Love supporting local businesses making great f
Amazing donuts!!! The raspberry sprinkle was my favorite, tastes exactly like fresh raspberries. Most of it is vegan too
Delicious doughnuts and reasonable pricing. Vegan option doughnuts are available here. We went there abt 10 in the morning & there were a long queue due to social distancing. No dining-in allowed at this time. The queue moved pretty fast actually. You are only allowed to enter when the bell on the door sound. U just knew that its a good doughnut shop when you saw mostly locals r in the queue.
Decided to look for a local Donut shop while we were evacuated from Florida. This place does not disappoint!!!! Great tasting homemade donuts and coffee. Prices are perfect here. If your passing through Atlanta this is a must stop.
Probably my favorite donut place in ATL. The apple fritter, bacon caramel, and blood orange pistachio are amazing donuts. They usually offer a pastry with loads of fresh fruit (peaches or strawberries, etc) which is awesome. Great choice if you're vegan or need something gluten free!
