Always love going into Resch?s Bakery! The smell alone takes me back to when I was a kid. This trip was a special order for my wife. She wanted a king cake and all of my research led me to Resch?s. I stopped in last week and was helped by Solomon, one of the friendliest and most professional folks you could ask for. This has been my go to Bakery since I moved to Columbus! I would travel for these baked goods! My absolute favorite Twist Donuts are a go to every time! Birthday Cakes, Bundt Cakes and Cookies and all of the Oh My Goodness Goodies!

Tried a glazed donut and it was delicious!! Best donut I?ve ever had. Soft and cakey. The actual sheet cake we ordered was pretty expensive and I honestly don?t think it was worth the price. The cake wasn?t anything special. Icing wasn?t very sweet and cake was a little dry. I really got my hopes up with the cake. I will say, I would definitely get donuts from there though!

When you?re craving a donut on the west side, Resch?s Bakery is a time-honored favorite, proudly serving the community for over 80 years. During my visit, I was assisted by a young lady who was exceptionally kind and helpful?her outstanding customer service made the experience even more enjoyable. We wanted to curate custom End of Year gift baskets for our employees and Resch?s Bakery was recommended to us for Christmas cookies and more! The service was great - our employees loved the boxed cookies! We totally recommend ??

Visiting from MO, this bakery was suggested to me as THE donut place. I was warned that I might need to stay in line. They were open before their Google map opening time, which was plus. Once I got a number, I was served within 5 min. Tasty and fresh donuts!

I must say they have some of the best donuts in the city! The place was packed when I went but the service was fast and easy. I got an assortment of donuts . I shared with my family members and they definitely thanked me and keep thanking me for these donuts! If you are ever in the area . Please stop in and get you some donuts! We stopped at the local Hallmark store to pickup a gift for a friend who had recently given a baby boy. While the wife was picking the gift and I discovered a crowd entering the next door. As you enter you take a number from a ticket machine. The smell of fresh baked goodies hits you. The donuts are marvelous. I love the cinnamon buns. I wish we lived near by.

This is one of the best donuts shops we have in Columbus. They have some pretty good glazed donuts, like bow ties and round donuts. The only thing I didn?t like that I bought were their apple fritters. They were too dry and the apples were too dark inside. In my opinion Tim Hortons apple fritters are better. I would still recommend to take a trip down there for some goodness.

Resch?s has AMAZING donuts, my favorite in the city. I was excited to get my child?s cupcakes from there for his birthday because their cake is great too! Imagine my surprise when i call to order some (nothing spectacular, vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with 2 color swirl icing- i had cupcake toppers) and I?m told they were going to be $4.15 PER cupcake?! My 36 cupcake order was going to be $150- the same price as the venue I?m having the party at. I had to decline and go to a grocery store to order. Sad I

Incredible spot. Super busy so you know it's a favorite for locals. Super friendly staff. Would recommend ordering ahead a couple days in advance to get everything you want and to skip the line. There is a great variety of things here ranging from cookies to rolls to donuts. I really enjoyed this place and will be back.

I have lived in Columbus for 17 years and I wish I had been 17 years ago. Easily one of Columbus' best bakeries! The selection of ready to order cakes was amazing and the donuts are so good! Can't wait to go back!

It really needs to have a dine in. it's good. The king cakes need more icing and color to match the ones in NOLA. The praline filling isn't thick enough inside the king cake . It's not authentic. However the other baking they do is ok. Service is great. It's usually packed but the line moves fast.

My ratings for the food the donuts are impeccable, however, they?re not as good when there are flies in the casing. As far the service when I informed the individual that was waiting on me that there were flies in there and that I did not want that doughnut particular pastry he call someone else She just came out and just fan at the fly as opposed to removing that pan of pastries and replacing it with some other because the fly had landed on the pastry. One of the remaining real bakery staples in Columbus. The staff helps you out in record time, and the bake goods are delicious. Recommended

I hate to that I even have to leave this review but selling something soooo good as they have been for years only to leave with a bad taste in my mouth because of pour customer service. Me and my husband just left from there we were number 35 and a young white female with glasses and grey sweatshirt serviced us and her tone and just all around demeanor was just nasty. If you don?t like to deal with people you should keep her in the back so that paying customers are left to feel uncomfortable.

A staple of the east side, everyone and their mama knows of Resch?s and for good reason. Amazing donuts; cakes, candies, etc. A bit busy at times, but never too long of a wait. Nice people as well, and very clean.

We've been coming to Reschs for a very long time. They are an institution for donuts, pastries, breads, and cakes: Large individual slices, pre-made that can have writing added, and pre-ordered.

Kelly was extremely helpful when I called to place an order for a cake 3 days before I needed it! She said yes without hesitation, she made sure everything was correct before going through with the order. Always recommend this bakery to everyone and I can?t wait until the Gahanna location opens up!!!!

I think they have the best glazed donuts in the city. The service can be hit or miss. I've had an overzealous manager try to win an argument she started in her own head. I've also had really sweet cashiers cash me. It's very much hit or miss.

I get my birthday cake here every year, my wedding cakes were done here and you will not eat a better doughnut. All of their baked goods are delicious! This place rocks!

The design of my daughter?s MBA graduation cake was horrible!!!! When I placed the prepaid order, a picture of my daughter?spundergraduate degree cake was provided as an example of what I wanted. Resch?s assured me they could accommodate my request. I requested a simple GOLD white and black design. When I arrived to pick up the cake, it was YELLOW, black and white. Lived in Columbus Ohio my entire life. This morning a delivery driver dropped off a box of donuts for the guys in the shop. The shop manager stopped by my trailer and told me to go get a doughnut. Resch's was suggested to me by a friend for an order I need to place this week, but when I called to discuss/place my order, the person on the phone made me feel like I was being a bother for calling, and wasn't in any way trying to be helpful. I don't care if their cupcakes are the best thing in this city, poor service will be the best way to ensure I never find out.

I order and paid for cupcakes. The cupcakes were bleeding through. Work ethics is terrible. It was not Resch best work. Managers did not offer any apologies. Buttercream is supposed to be in the cooler. I?m very disappointed at their service

Amazing delicious donuts so yummy!!! Also ordered a cake for my daughter?s 2nd birthday strawberry with buttercream frosting, she does not like chocolate so the strawberry was a good idea because she absolutely devoured it!!!! My dad swears by Resch?s & got his wedding cake here years ago. We got my wedding cake, donuts and cookies that were all amazing! I?ve never gotten so many compliments on a cake & guests were asking if they could take any leftovers! & two weeks after my wedding we also got my grandparents 60th anniversary cake with them. They are simply the best, even if you aren?t a cake person it?s still so yummy!

We recently used Resch's for our wedding cake and cupcakes and we were blown away! They not only looked amazing, but tasted even better. As a bonus, the staff was friendly and helpful from the ordering all the way to pick up. We are so happy and would recommend them to anyone!

Can?t believe it took me so long to go here. Have had the doughnuts before from co-workers but first time in person for a birthday cake. Man, it won?t be the last one either. White cake is super delicious, light. Service was so helpful and nice. My new favorite.

I already loved their donuts and would never betray them with another bakery, so I entrusted them with a cake and it did not disappoint! This cake was as just tasty as it was beautiful and the decorator Brandy was extremely helpful in making sure it got to my destination in one piece. These are the best donuts around, hands down. They?re always busy, which tells you something, but they are fast and efficient with getting people in and out. Resch's Bakery has been my bakery of choice for all occasions for as long as I can remember. Recently, they've really stepped up their customer service AND new innovative sweets. This strawberry delight(not sure what it's called) is AMAZING! It made my entire day and I'm still talking about it a week later.

HUGE SHOUT OUT to Resch?s Bakery! After a debacle with another bakery order (I forgot to $$). At noon on the day of our party Resch?s Bakery came through BIG TIME and turned around a 1/2 sheet cake in 2 hours! 1/2 red velvet & 1/2 white, cream cheese icing and OSU grad decor taboot AND it was beyond amazing!!! So moist and the icing was to die for!! Best cake we have had in years!

Fast service !! The place was packed because everything is fresh. I got there at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and it was packed but they moved quick. I was in and out within minutes. My donuts was sooooo fresh. The kind of fresh to where you can't help but to close your eyes and chew slowly because it taste sooooo good. I got a German chocolate cake for my husband's birthday a few weeks ago and it was fantastic! I normally don't care for German chocolate, but Resch's cake was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend!

By far the regions best overall bakery. With a wide selection of cakes, cookies and doughnuts, on top of the daily fresh bread, you can always find something (except parking) to satisfy you sweet tooth. Their yellow cake is a favorite at our house. On top of it all, they have some of the top notch decorators. Make the journey there, it is worth it.

Best d school bakery in Columbus! Ordered a 9 inch white cake with buttercream icing and 20 petit fours. Had multiple folks ask where I got the cake and petit fours. They make it the old way...icing isn't oily or weird tasting...delicious! Been frequenting this spot for 30 years and even though I moved away I ordered by phone and picked it up for my daughter's shower! The cake slid a bit..nit the bakery's fault..

I showed them a picture for inspiration of an Isabella cake from Encanto for my daughter?s birthday and was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it turned out! My Husband and I have been going here for 6 years now. I've had so many doughnuts from around Columbus and Resch's is easily one of the best. Their glazed doughnut almost melts in your hand; it is SO SOFT. I always bring friends and family here who are visiting from out of town. This is a no frills kind of place but their sweets always impress! I ordered my boyfriend an apple pie for his birthday recently and we loved it. I'm not a big pie fan but I couldn't help but steal a few bites. Just be sure you call ahead if there is something specific you are looking for because I had to order this in advance to ensure I could get one. They don't keep everything on hand. It was ready when expected and still hot out of the oven!

I love Resch's Bakery. They have the best Red Velvet Donuts in Ohio. You can only get them on Saturdays, only if you call & order in advance Monday-Friday. Their yellow cake is amazing, always very moist. I use them for all my special occasions I haven't been let down once in 20+years.
