They were closed last week but when they opened Monday, I asked if I could order a Birthday Cake for the next day. The cake was fabulous, it was exactly what my brother wanted. It really was a fresh cake, a butter cream frosting that was smooth soft and not solid sugar. The decoration was spot on and I was happy my brother enjoyed his 78th birthday

Cute little shop. The blueberry crumble was delicious. Kids enjoyed the cupcakes - icing was perfectly sweet without being too much. Honestly som of the best desserts I?ve had!

Instant blacklist. I don't recall Napoleon at $13.99, just Napoleon and 2 rum balls were above my budget. Simple solution, I request subtract one rum ball - still above - then subtract both and it's $13.99. Best around! Our family has been going here since the 60's - from Sunday tradition of rolls and pastries to birthday cakes and butter cookies. Best crumb buns around and family favorites are the 7 layer cake and chinese chocolate chips!!!

Everything here is top notch. It?s also the only place around that makes crumb-buns (the superior older brother of crumb-cakes). Their recipe is absolute perfection taste-wise, though I do wish it wasn?t such a small sliver of bun? the bun and crumbs should be balanced because they are both so good!

I was brought back to my childhood as the odor of the baked goods hit me as I walked through the door! It has been SO LONG being in a independently owned bakery! The staff was very pleasant the the cookies I purchased were outstanding. I will be back again!

I've been going to Reinhold's since I was a six year old kid in 1966. They had then and still have the best onion rolls, salt sticks, crumb cake, coffee rings and a diabolical creation known as a Yum-Yum. They also make lovely wedding cakes to order. My wife and I got ours there and it was absolute perfection. This place is a treasure!

We love this bakery and are regulars. Over the weekend I ordered a strawberry shortcake for a small gathering and it was delicious. So light, fluffy, and not too sweet. All our guests loved it! I?ll continue to come here for all our special desserts. The staff goes above and beyond to help their customers. A true gem in Waldwick.

Great bakery not only for desserts but for fresh bread like sour dough and various rolls! And they even slice it for you. So delicious! I love supporting local, small businesses!

Our family have been going there since the 1970s. Our favorite are the Chinese Chocolate Chip Cookies. :) Delicious! Can't find them in any other bakery.

This is a bakery so it is take away. My father started going there when he was in that area and he took me with him. I understand it is a family run business in business for 65 years. I go to one other bakery when I am not in this area.

Still a small town bakery! This place is I believe 60 years old or almost that. It's that local bakery every town had when I was growing up, the difference is they are still around. Their holiday cookie trays are awesome if you need to bring cookies someplace this time of year. And beware you can't walk out without buying other things to!! And their crumb cake is literally world renowned....I have friends that live outside London, family in Atlanta, and whenever I go thru insist I bring a box of their crumb

I bring home bags of their goodies for my mom to Florida. We all grew up with their baked goods but moved to Florida 20 years ago. Everything tastes like 40 years ago and that's a huge compliment. We go on our way to the airport every time we visit.

I bought cupcakes and cookies for some friends. Service was great. Everything looked delicious. I pulled up to the back which is where GPS led me but the entrance is on the other side in the front. I stayed parked in the back and just walked around to the front. There is a parking lot in front as well. The bakery has been in business for over sixty years. Very nice! I would go back.

My father used to get his pizza dough from them when I was a small child. ('50s-'60s) my sister and I were there in May and again this month. First time back in decades. The crumb cake is to die for!

Very disappointing experience, the "fresh" baked cake was stale, ingredients tasted old and the baking was subpar at best. I read many of the reviews, whatever this place used to be - it no longer is...time for Reinhold's to close. This is not your grandparents bakery. I have never gone there before and just bought a cake from their for a birthday. The cake was dry and tasted very ordinary, almost box-like. The lemon custard was alright, but not enough to supplement the dry cake. Would not go there again.

As soon as you walk in you know this is a good bakery. Between the smell and large number of employees on a early Thursday afternoon. I do agree with one other reviewer that the employees are surly. I went in just to check it out, then felt obliged to try a goody. I tried a tea biscuit and it was worth every bite. Its like a smooth scone. It was so tasty and fresh. I would love to make this my main bakery for any bakery needs.

To my knowledge, this bakery makes the best danish around. At one time, I made a point of sampling the danish from every bakery and pastry shop between Penn Station and Rockefeller Center. And this bakery still made the best. My only wish is that they would add apple danish to their repertoire.

Every pastry I've ever had here has been fantastic. The Yums Yums are a particular favorite.

OMG, the best! I drive to Reinholds from Orange County, NY because it is just that good. And I absolutely love their Sacher torte. Stopped there today to get cookies and cupcakes for all the heroes who work at Oradell Animal Hospital (and stuff for my freezer, too). Pretty close to Rte 17, so it's not at all difficult to get to. I highly recommend.

I spend a few days calling different bakeries in the area to order a sugar free cake for My fianc?e who?s a diabetic to celebrate his 50th birthday and nobody could do it, some needed more time, Others didn?t do it at all, others were not open Monday, I was calling on a Friday for Monday, I called Reinholds bakery and immediately they said yes, took my information and what I wanted, asked me what time did I want to pick it up, they were very accommodating, needless to say, that was the best sugar free cake

Reinholds really does have great pastries, cakes, etc., but the customer service is the absolute worst. The weekend crew--what seems to be part-time high school girls, mainly--are actually nicer and do a better job than the regular staff that's around during the week. The weekday help tends to be either surly or ditzy, and the office staff isn't much better. We placed a large order for a party--a simple one--that they got flat-out wrong. Love this little nook! Great danishes all around from the almond, prune, raspberry, pecan and meltaways. Their cakes are fabulous, my favorite is raspberry filling chocolate and vanilla cake with chocolate ganache, yum!

We've enjoyed everything we tried from this bakery. I really like that it's a traditional bakery and not a big box store or supermarket shelf kind of purchase.

We serve the Reinhold's crumb cake in our retail store on Saturdays and Sundays. Some customers save their shopping for those days just to get a piece. Try the cake, and the Yum-Yums are sinful. Maybe they are a bit cranky there. Bakers work around the clock, through the night and into the day on their feet, breaking their backs mixing dough. I picked up my rental, then went to bakery now I can go to see my brother's with treats from the Reinholds....nothing like this where I live. Before I leave for CA going to have a delivery sent to my house from the bakery, that is how fantastic this bakery is and has been thank you for still beening in business.....

Delicious pastries and sweets but the 2 old women who work on the weekend are MISERABLE. Grumpy, cranky, clearly hate working. Maybe get nicer people to work on the weekend (you know, when people are around). The young ladies who work in there are very pleasant. Maybe give them extra hours to work.

I mistakenly ordered a baby shower cake for my sister from Reinholds, but much to my chagrin I had to deal with an old, cranky rude woman with gray hair. She was unnecessarily difficult when I was trying to describe what I wanted on the cake, and she was outright condescending. Honey, you chose the wrong profession. No one has time to deal with you when HHK bakery is down the street.
