Small shop in the downtown area of Lexington, about 40 miles from Charleston. Donuts are freshly made and there?s a wide variety to choose from. Some flavors are seasonal by the way. Oh! And if u want a donut that comes with filling, you can select from four different flavors: personal favorites where vanilla and lemon. They also have specialty coffees. Their vanilla frappe was good as well. The two young ladies that were behind the counter were friendly and knew their donuts!!

These are the best donuts in Lexington. The donut holes are amazing! But don't get a dozen. Get two sixes. Some aren't too good at math, but I'm pretty sure that getting two bags of six for $1.99 each beats the twelve for $4.99 bag. But I digress.... The donuts are soft and fluffy, various topped versions like maple bacon are fabulous, and any filled donut is filled when you order it. The earlier in the day you go, the more choices there are. Now, go.

Lovely local shop of delicious doughnuts. They have a nice twist in that they will fill the doughnut with your choice of filling...custard, vanilla, raspberry and lemon. Custard was my choice and simply yummy. You can't leave without getting an apple or blueberry fritter. There are small chunks of apple which is a lovely change from other fritters I've eaten. Staff was friendly. There are a few tables. Sitting next to the big windows is a must. Stop in. You will enjoy it!

I just moved to Lexington NC. I was looking up things to do and places to visit, food wise and Red Donuts came up. I love the aesthetic of this town and Red Donuts has to be one of the staples because their donuts are amazingly delicious ???? hands down. I never want another donut if it doesn't come from Red. I believe another location in NC opened up but I'm not sure of the location. Anyway, if you're passing through Lexington and want donuts. Definitely visit Red Donuts.

Donuts were excellent. We even came back and got some later in the day and even then they were soft and good.

The lady that helped us was very nice. The inside of the building is nice, and the doughnuts are big! Great doughnut shop!

Stopped into RED Donut Shop at the corner of E. Second St and Main in Lexington NC. Donuts in and of themselves are good, but Red Donut has a very light and tasty. They fill the donuts on the spot. The cake donuts are soft and moist and the cinnamon rolls have a nice airy-ness to them. I highly recommend make this a quick stop if you are passing thru the area.

Quaint little donut shop in Lexington, NC. On-street parking. Wheelchair accessible. Lots of seating options. Clean. Public bathroom. Bathroom is wheelchair accessible. The toilet paper dispenser is a little out of reach - be prepared to lean. Prices are comparable. Pick any donut, then... pick your filling. They fill them on the spot. Delicious food, friendly staff. Fun for the whole family. They also serve coffee and have a cooler with misc. drink options. #reddonutshop

First and foremost I am so proud of my classmate from ECPI College Saro for the success he has had with opening and maintaining the only donut shop in Lexington "Red donut." I have traveled the distance as well as my daughter to get some of the best donuts in NC. I highly recommend you go and check this shop out. My favorite donuts are listed below - Red Velvet - Blueberry - Regular glazed - Twists - Maple - Lemon - The Cake donuts - Long Johns My daughter loves the maple bacon and bear claws. My mother lo

The young women who work here are friendly, courteous, quick to serve you, & give you a good feeling! The apple fritters are the very best but the blueberry ones are not far behind! It's a pleasure to go here & I go every chance I get!

Adorable unsuspecting corner donut shop in Lexington. As soon as you walk through the door, the welcoming decor is there to greet you with tall ceilings and comfortable seating. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The donut assortment isn't vast but has something for everyone: cherry/blueberry/apple fritters, bear claws, cake donuts or glazed, powdered, chocolate glazed, long John's and sprinkled donuts. You have your choice of filling: lemon, custard, vanilla and raspberry. Everything was delicio

Honest review here. Went in on a whim for a quick snack with the kiddos. This donut shop is conveniently located directly across the street from Lexington Police Department? so there?s that. They offer everything from the standard hot glazed to some of the beat fritters I have ever tasted anywhere, period! We were so impressed with the selection we went home with 3 dozen donuts that we may never be able to eat our way through the end of. Every donut we sampled was amazing. The choose your own filling donuts

Immaculately clean with great cheerful customer service. Was over in Lexington and decided to finally go in after hearing and reading the great reviews. THEY ARE JUSTIFIED AND CONFIRMED. I told the lady at counter that I had never been in before and a customer that had just been served said "you are in for a treat". So I asked her for a recommendation and without hesitation she said the blueberry fritter. I love fritters but I would never have ordered blueberry [I'm an apple guy]. But I followed her recomme

Store is in a great location on North Main Street across the street from the Lexington Police Department and is within walking distance from several restaurants. Parking is parallel on both sides of Main Street and nearby side streets. Took my wife and two grandsons there after eating lunch for fresh doughnuts, we got a dozen of a wide variety of doughnuts to eat there and to take home. Grandsons loved the red velvet doughnuts, bear claws and watch the friendly ladies filling the stuffed doughnuts with jel

A fantastic donut shop on the corner of downtown Lexington North Carolina. You can find yeast style ?? donuts, tiger tails, donut holes, bear claws, ?? apple fritters, and plenty of seasonal donut flavors to keep you coming back year round. They also have fun boba, ?? teas, and ? coffees to go alongside your dessert. This location is also ? handicap accessible with limited indoor seating and ?? restroom.

Hands down the best donut shop I?ve been to. The staff is great and the Boba is great too? thank you so much for the wonderful family experience! ????

Lovely place! Our second time here and our favorite donuts are apple and cherry fritters. Yum!

These are amazing donuts! I'm moving to Lexington from Raleigh and am so happy to find a great place like this

We love Red Donuts and go there frequently for sweet treats. This time we were looking for something special for our Gender Reveal party with family. Doughnuts seemed like the perfect treat to make a pink and blue display. Red Donuts was willing to help and wanted to make sure that they did just what we wanted - offering various combinations, colors, fillings, pick up time, etc. We would definitely recommend Red for a quick snack and for your more special requests!

Was so excited to finally go here! Great donuts!! Great customer service!!

I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I will say I've been converted! These donuts are by far the best tasting donuts I've ever had hands down! From the quality, the airyness, soft chewy bite with the well balanced sugary taste is by far the best in its kind! Dunkin, Krispy Kreme and Duck donuts donuts don't even come close.

I couldn?t decide which donuts I wanted so the girl behind the counter pick for me! Did not disappoint!! Great selection and friendly staff!

Very nice owner and super clean donut shop. Lots of donuts! We stopped for an ice cream break then took some tasty looking pastries back to our RV for later. We sure will return during our next camping trip.

Not only are they quite personable, they also offer free bibles. They are awesome in my opinion

These are some GOOD donuts! Nice clean shop on main street. Salesperson was very nice...searched through a pile of shirts for my size. Good coffee too.

Boba tea was really good, I had a chai with honey dew melon, and the donuts were definitely awesome!

I used to be just a Krispy Kreme gal. No more. These are the best doughnuts I?ve ever had. I can?t eat everybody?s doughnuts. But these are so light and airy with amazing flavor. The fritters are the best. I just tried a bear claw today and annihilated it while driving down the highway. If you?re not on a diet, please go and inhale one of these pastries. You will not be disappointed!

Nice touch that donuts are filled as purchased. Keeps them from getting soggy and allows one to choose the filling of preference. The young lady working on Saturday late afternoon (7/27/24) was very pleasant and presented the business well. Wish I had caught her name. I got two chocolate frosted long Johnson with vanilla filling... one for dessert and one for breakfast the next morning. Thankfully, I don't live nearby or these treats would become far too regular!

Super friendly staff. I always stop in to get Lemon filled donuts for a good friend's mother.

Donuts were absolutely delicious. More pricey than KK. The girl working was awsome. Clientele was a bit snooty perdy people too snooty to say hi or good morning back to you. Definitely not my place. I'll stick to KK. At least the customers aren't assholes there. Good luck

Since I am a donut aficionado I can say I really enjoyed their donuts. Very light and loved the filling options. Worth the 30 minute ride. Don't miss the bear claw!

LOVE their donuts! Their maple bacon donuts are the best! Had some fresh and they were SO GOOD! I prefer this place over Krispy Kreme! You can also choose any filling for your donut and they fill it in front of you!

I have never had a bad experience here, nor have I ever had bad service. Friendly.

Oh my goodness this donut shop is worth the hype! They sell some cake or old fashioned-style donuts, but their specialty is the yeast donuts. They sell some yeast donuts with glaze or frosting, but I personally think their stand out is the jelly donuts! You can select a powdered sugar donut or glazed donut, and pick raspberry, strawberry, lemon, custard, chocolate, or vanilla jams or creams to fill the donut while you watch. They are so good and fresh. Their apple fritter was also absolutely incredible. The

Tasty donuts, friendly staff and they also have bubble tea. I have never exprienced a donut shop where they fill your donuts to order, how cool is that.

Great light and fluffy yeast style donuts. They do also have cake style but some of the best donuts I have had. You can also have them fill your donuts with different fillings.

Amazing donuts, so light and fluffy! Definitely worth the calories.

Wonderful donuts and great coffee. Local and inexpensive. Fun if you are driving through or just to sit and chill.

Went there on 2/15/25 and the staff was so rude and I had one staff look at me and turned her head knowing I was waiting to be helped. And asked the customer behind me do they know what they want. Like tf I didn?t know what i wanted. Will never go back

Great donut shop! Everything is delicious, I especially love that you can pick your own filling. Apple fritters are also incredible.

My mom and I went in on a Saturday around 4pm. Although we only saw donuts in the display case, we were not disappointed. We bought a dozen of random donuts and were very impressed. The freshness of the donuts were top notch. They were still soft and fresh the next day. The girls working were super sweet and patient with us. My mom left her drink on the counter and one of them ran out the door to bring it to us. Will definitely go again!

First time here. The doughnuts were really good. The issue I have is the price, $16.99 for a dozen doughnuts. Just be careful because they have hidden pricing, they don't tell you until you are paying for your doughnuts. I would recommend you give them a try.

Good donuts but very limited selection. 2 donuts was just over $2

Love the food here but lately the employees are not it. Today I witnessed them allowing a 15 year old brat to love herself in front of not only an older lady treating her young grandchildren but a young woman taking her clients on an outing. Keep in mind these clients are in the Idd population and these small things are a big deal for them. Not only was she rude and forced herself in front of these folks but it was allowed by the staff. Then when she was called out she threatened these ladies with her broth

Went to red?s today after driving 45 minutes only for no one to be there. Very disappointed I didn?t get to try anything.

Airy, delicious, & scrumptious ?..yummy ??! Very welcoming environment ?? The vanilla custard amazing, however we loved them all on our road trip.

Stay away if you're diabetic. Trust me! LOL. Haha, just kidding. The staff here are super friendly, and even so, if you get there 10 min before closing. It's just a super place for delicious doughnuts. The apple and blueberry fritters are to die for. It never fails for my glucometer to alarm after every visit. But it's totally worth it! ??

Second time here and great service both times. We're happy with the selection and the store is very clean. Their apple fritters and bear claws are so yummy. They have a tons of filling options to choose from. Raspberry, vanilla, lemon, custard, strawberry, and chocolate. I may have missed a few but those are the ones I remember. I also love their window displays during the holidays.

We love this place. So glad we found it. They have the absolute best doughnuts. I love that they fill the doughnuts on the spot. Vanilla cream and the chocolate cream are my daughter's favorite. I prefer the custard filled with powdered sugar, yummy

Red's doughnuts never disappoints! The doughnuts AND fritters are so so yummy! It is our favorite place! Everyone is always so nice.

Doughnut are ok. The coffee is terrible. Coffee is cold and old. Terrible coffee. Last time and I mean the last time. I tasted it and handed it back to them.

Had the most delicious Cherry fritter and old fashioned donut I've ever eaten! You can pick a donut and then pick the filling you want. And they're not skimpy with the filling. Order at the counter.

They had the softest, lightest filled donut I have ever tasted.

Typically we go to Asheville, NC where some locations are supposedly the best donuts in the state. Never been impressed with Asheville Donuts. Yesterday was our first stop at Reds and there will be more. Great Donuts! Friendly staff! Probably my 2nd favorite donut in NC.

Best donuts around, such a cool atmosphere and very friendly people. A real gem for Lexington NC

Great doughnuts, coffee and boba tea. Wonderful atmosphere. Definitely going back.

Great prices, donuts are off the chart delicious, coffee is great. The earlier you get there the better and more selection

Whenever I need to drop by a client's office or if we want to treat our own employees, I come bearing Red Donuts from Lexington. The fritters are the very best anywhere as well. Try the cherry fritter warmed up and you're welcome!

Went here today for the first time and I can't wait to come back. The donuts are super fresh and delicious. The best part is that they fill the donuts fresh right in front of you. There are about 6 or 7 filling choices. A very original idea that gives you a fresh filled donut that actually has a bunch of filling. They also have cake donuts and other pastries. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice too with good seating and tables. They have extra long hours too. can't wait to go back. Thanks

I had a pumpkin donut yesterday. It was delicious, will all the taste of the fall season. This is a go to donut shop!!!!

My first time trying Red Donuts. I never got a chance to be in Lexington when they were open so today was the day I got a half dozen. I got 2 Bismarck?s, 2 Long John?s, a classic glazed and a fritter. I loved that I got to choose what filling to put in my Bismarck?s! When I got home with them and opened the box I could smell how fresh they were. My friends all agreed they were delish, fresh, just sweet enough and plan on getting another half dozen in the future.

The absolutely best donuts I have ever had! The store is decorated adorably! You can choose your own fillings and that in and of itself was amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious! Staff was so helpful! Boston cream was a 10!!

I love going to your location on 109 in Winston! Riley is so sweet and such a great representative for your business. I try to let as many people know about both your locations!??

Awesome donuts! Highly recommended. Custered, creme and jelly donuts filled upon order, very fresh.

Went in and purchased three assortment boxes for my co-workers. Was pleasantly surprised with the variety. Pricing was reasonable, quality was great, and the young lady behind the counter was awesome.

Great little donut shop. The way they use to make them. They have real cake donuts. Hand fill your donuts to order. A wonderful variety to choose from. We are so glad we stumbled upon this place.

This is not my first purchase. When this place first opened, they had some of the best doughnuts around and at an appropriate price. Yesterday, we stopped by for the first time in over a year and grabbed their special. Over 25 bucks for what endeded up being bland and glazed bread. Cinnamon rolls didn't have any taste until a faint whiff of flavor in the middle. Apple fritters didn't have any apple in 2. Just fritters I guess? The others were just what they had due to limited selection and lack of options.

These are absolutely the best donuts around! So fresh, soft & chewy, and the fillings are delicious! I live in Charlotte but when I visit my mom in Archdale, I always stop in to get these! Can't wait

I moved here to Lexington in 2018.. This was the only donut shop here at the time and I went and have been going every since! Donuts are the best I've tasted, staff are nice and the place is clean. Nice atmosphere and prices aren't bad at all

The glaze donuts are delicious and always fresh. The ice cream is very good, however they don?t carry lids for there containers which I found a bit odd. We tried the flavored donuts, the Red velvet & Oreo(chocolate one) donuts and they lacked flavor. The prices are reasonable and customer service is decent.,

This place is excellent! I have been here several times recently and the quality and freshness of the donuts is exceptional. I especially like the filled donuts that are filled right in front of you as you order! The blueberry fritters are also a unique item. I love donuts and this place does not disappoint! Highly recommend.

Good donuts. We tried a few different things. The red velvet cake donuts were a little sweet combined with the frosting. The donuts did have a bit of a greasy taste to me, but they were good. The blueberry fritter was the best. Crispy outside, soft inside and lost of blueberry. The filled donuts are filled to order so they don't get soggy and you can choose your glaze and filling combo.

My family took me here for dessert on Mother?s Day! Fabulous little gem in the heart of Winston-Salem. The freshest, lightest donuts, and they will even fill your donut with your choice of filling! Staff is friendly, the coffee is fantastic! We will be sure to visit here again!

Got the custard filled and the cream filled and they were the BOMB! Cute little shop that also serves a decent cup of coffee (regular only), some Boba teas and a cooler of assorted bottled drinks. They also have ice cream. Neat little place with oversized couches and a few tables and chairs. Also played a nice mix of music. Will definitely be going back for the filled donuts! Amazing!!!

I grew up in beautiful Southern California, where donut shops are abundant. So when I heard there is donut shop in Lexington I had to make it my mission to try it. I was not disappointed. It is melt in your mouth, just like the ones I grew up eating. Thank you for taking me back to my childhood! Keep up the great work guys!!!

Not open till 7pm. I went and it was closed at 6:30pm

Excellent fresh donuts that are filled when you order them!

Paid $20 for 6 donuts that were stale and falling:crumbling apart.. was not as good as it usually is I guess since it was a Monday instead our usual weekend outings.. but yuck

Liked the injection of flavor into the doughnuts, gave them a fresh kick. Really, you can choose a flavor to be injected into your doughnut. Kids got a kick out of that, could be marketed a bit better. Store was clean and service friendly, atmosphere could be improved upon. No pics this time, sorry, ate them right away.

We dropped in on the Red Donut Shop as an impromptu visit, hoping for some hot coffee and an average donut experience, but we were blown away with the first bite of our donuts. I've been up and down the east coast, sampling sweets, and I have to admit, this is the best, freshest, most delicious, creative donut shop I've ever visited. Pure brilliance! There are different flavors that you can choose from to have your donuts custom filled, and the team working there goes above and beyond. And the coffee? To di

Very clean inside and donuts We're nice and fresh. Love that they don't put the cream in it until you buy it so you can pick what you want. Will be visiting it again tomorrow Sunday July 5th before we leave to go back to Waldorf Maryland.

I was let in on a best kept secret in Lexington when visiting friends who own the Back-Yard Retreat Garden and gift shop on main street. They told me about a donut shop right up the street from them, I was shocked I have been going to Lexington for years and never knew this. So, off my friend and I went, on the corner was a shop with beautiful decorated windows, other than the Easter bunnies carrying donuts and a green 1940?s pickup truck filled with donuts you would never know it was a donut shop. The sign

They have delicious donuts, I ordered an apple fritter and a large coffee. Paid about $4.00 and a few cents which I thought was a little high but they through in a blueberry donut that was a pleasant surprise. The lady who owns it is Asian I think but her English was very clear so no communication problems. It took about 15 minutes to get through the line and there were only three orders ahead of me. I think they are a little disorganized but all in all I would visit again if I'm in the area. Located in the

I'm proud that this donut shop is part of my hometown. It is absolutely amazing, and the service is excellent. You can't find better donuts anywhere. The bear claw with apple filling is my favorite, but a vanilla-filled maple is a close second.

Very clean, smelled good ??, did not catch cashiers name, but she was very sweet. Donuts, top tiers, and blueberry are the best ??.

So we have lived in Lexington since Feb of this year, why has it taken us this long to find this place? It was soooooo yummy! Thank you for the lil pieces of heaven! By the way, The people at the candy store down the street told us about you. Thanks a million

Best place in Lexington to get donuts, and always fresh with a great selection. If you are looking for a Boba Tea place however I wouldn't recommend going here. The Tapioca Pearls taste like they have been overcooked and soaked in water as they are pretty flavorless.

This is the most incredible and delicious donuts ever created! Will definitely return and the Maple Bacon Donuts are the absolute BEST! I love how the cream filled ones arent filled before hand, so every doughnut is the right amount and it tastes fresh
