The donuts were fresh. Good basic recipe. They were not too sweet a good balance between sugar and flavor.

The donut holes are the BEST! They've got piping hot coffee, & mouth watering made to order breakfast burritos with a side of just right spicy hot sauce. The customer service is top notch and sincere. Not too fancy but definitely welcoming and yes, all different kinds of other donuts, filled, twisted and all fresh

The sausage egg and cheese crossiant was so good!!! The sausage was seasoned with perfect taste, crossiant was flaky and perfect texture and egg and cheese complimented it so well!I tried it plain with no jelly and it was delicious then I added grape jelly and it was even better! First time there. The food looks good and there is a good selection. However the service I received from the owner just now while trying to resolve a double charge was not called for. As I stepped to the side to check on a charge with my bank. Not loud or boisterous in any way. The owner is saying comments loudly in the back. I did not talk to her in a combative tone or yell. I?ve been looking for a donut shop after moving to GA. It made me feel like I was back at home in New Orleans. The Owner was friendly, fast and her customer service was excellent. I can tell this is how she always shows up in her establishment. The food was good and exceptional. I definitely will make this my go to breakfast spot for something hot, fresh and convenient. I suggested she add grits to her menu. That would make it even better. Thank you for your service.

They're very wonderfully sweet people, and their food is amazing. I got d burrito with everything, sausage,egg & cheese croissant, and a half dozen of those amazing donuts, and not one thing was off. The building was cold, but i'm cold all the time anyway. Lol

Best donuts in Atlanta for sure and at least as good as the best donuts I've had in Chicago, LA, and New York. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are incredible as well. Really friendly staff that remember my name after only a couple of visits. Don't miss the cinnamon sugar twist, apple fritter, or buttermilk donuts, along with their classic plain glazed. It is worth going way out of the way for Rays. Update: Long-term customer now and still absolutely love Rays. I'd eat their donuts unfrosted and unglazed.

I have so many pictures to upload because I?ve been going to this place almost every morning this week ??. My sister bought me a bagel and I?ve been stuck ever since. They even have the perfect Thai tea. It?s so sweet ??????. The bagel reminds me of papis store in New York. Such nostalgic feelings every time I take a bite. Friendly place with a wide variety of flavors. Very easy access from Tara Blvd near Battle Creek Rd. The exterior looks a little dated and there's handwritten signs about the cash shortage. There's also signs to warn you not to spend less than $3 on a debit/credit card to avoid a fee. There's all kinds of safety glass and safety measures in place, you are encouraged to wear a mask. They are amazing never fails!!!! The lady who manages it is so friendly and fast at the same time. Is one of the very few spots in the community that has good quality food and service.

First time going. This maple bacon doughnut is so damn good. The crossiant sandwich is good the sausage has a nice kick to it. Definitely going back.

I've been riding past this place for years not even realizing that it was open. Went to the chik-fil-a next door to it and saw people coming out, so I decided to give them a try. Way better than I expected. I got a dozen doughnuts mixed for about $13 and they didn't disappoint. My children and husband tore right threw them lol.

The food is delicious and made to order, it?s hot and ready every time. The staff even gives you complimentary donut holes. Come see about it. The head lady is a Gem and a joy to be around.

Best donuts on the Southside. The have a great selection, service is pleasant, and the breakfast sandwiches are superb. I recommend this spot if your ever in the Jonesboro area.

The owner always treats you like you are special they have the best breakfast sandwiches and burritos you could ever imagine they taste just like home. If you're a regular if you like family and address you by your name as soon as you come through the door also their donuts are made fresh and they are absolutely the best tasting donuts and all of Clayton county. This place has fresh donuts and also the host gave me 2 free donut holes ...I tried almost every dough and they all were delicious as well as fresh.

Update:12/11/23 I haven't been here in a while, and this by far was the worst experience. With that said, I won't be returning regardless of how much we enjoy the donuts, sandwiches, and smoothies. According to the pricing on the screen, must I say it's so misleading. Mixed donuts aren't the actual price displayed. I've been a regular at this location for several years. The number of staff had been lacking but the service and food were on point. Yes, there was a little wait for certain things, but I dealt with it. Today, I saw more staff working than I ever did before. However, the efficiency and accuracy were 100 % better with less staff. I called in an order and still waited 15 minutes (total time from call-in was 26 minutes). I told the tall young lady my name and what my order was, she said it would out shortly.

Love this place for Sunday morning breakfast. The only thing missing is an outdoor patio.

Place is very convenient and the breakfast sandwiches are good. I did not like paying twice as much as advertised for the apple juice. Pastries look great. I will be trying the apple fritters soon.

These are the best people. Used to always get my donuts for the office from Dunkin?, but I tried ray?s one day and have not been back to Dunkin?s since. They?re always extremely welcoming and truly love what they do. Not to mention, they do it very well.

1st time stopping in today and I'm glad I did. I got the chicken sausage croissant sandwich with egg and a strawberry donut. It was fresh and delicious. Rays Donuts is a small bakery located next to Chick Fil A on Tara Blvd in Jonesboro, Ga. I believe they opened around the middle of 2019. Their donuts and sandwiches are fresh and very good. You can eat in or carry out. Give them a try and you'll return for more. Oh, great prices too!

I purchased the half mix donuts the prices are different then what they ring up. You need to make the price right on your menu for your customer so it will not be a mix up for what you are ringing up. And have what you offer if you are open for business.

Had a great first experience here! I came 30 minutes to close and they still had a good selection of donuts, but I was happy to see they were able to do their breakfast sandwiches and coffee that late! Coffee was good and hot, I got a Bagel sandwich and it was delicious, and I tried a few of their donuts. Will definitely be back..I got all that for $12 which is unheard of! This place reminds me of a shop I found in San diego and I'm happy to have it close by.

I was a bit nervous trying this place close to closing thinking I would not have a good selection or the donuts would not be fresh. I've been burned by Dunkin several times of this. However that was not my experience at Ray's. They had a decent selection and most importantly they were fresh. The iced coffee was strong and good. Our local donut shop here in Jonesboro. Great service, freshly baked donuts and breakfast sandwiches to order, prices are reasonable. I love all the different variety they have, the taste is impeccable.

I noticed the donuts and pastries are good, but could be better, they are liking in flavor. I had a cinnamon roll. I couldn?t smell the cinnamon or taste the cinnamon need more flavor and the donuts can use more flavor more flavor. I will return to see if there are any changes.

Rays has always been good when I?ve had the time to stop and get food. First time stopping in. Grabbed an assortment of doughnuts to take to a meeting. Customer service was great, I was offered good suggestions for doughnuts. Meeting participants were excited to hear I had stopped at Ray's. The doughnut I had was light and airy and delish!

Fresh donuts! Made fresh daily. And if you buy more than you are going to eat right away, they stay fresh. A great variety. They also have a limited number of other things to offer like sandwiches, croissants, bagels, special drinks (of course coffee). The staff are pleasant and the surroundings clean. It's not fancy, but who notices. There are always customers. You order from the counter. Get there early for the best choices.

I had a good experience there. I ordered four different types of donuts and I have to say that the apple fitter / apple bear claw was my favorite. The customer service was great. The only thing that I didn?t like was that, because I went there at about 12:00 pm, the variety of donuts were limited and you can?t order by way of the menu board. I?ve been driving by this place for years and I hate myself for not stopping by sooner. They have sooo many different donuts and was pleasantly surprised by them having bubble tea. The service was great and fast. The cashier was really nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back more often

I love this place, I will warn you. Please, anticipate on waiting if you order any cooked or blended items. If you?re in a pinch on time I recommend you getting a dozen of their donuts. If you have time to wait I recommend the sausage egg n cheese burrito. Please give this place a visit next time you are in the area I promise you won?t regret it. Your visit will also contribute to small businesses as this small shop seems to be a mom and daughter shop.

The donuts were fine, however, I ask for 1 blueberry donut and 6 or 1/2 dozen glazed donut holes but only got 5 of them in my bag. I'm willing to give the young girl who fixed my order the benefit of the doubt because perhaps she counted the one blueberry donut as the six donuts and she over looked putting just 5 into my other bag. Customers should always check their orders before they leave the premises and make sure their orders are correct. It's just ashamed that you have to check behind business's

I've been eating Ray's donuts 4 For five years now, but this is my first time visiting the Tara location. Super nice people. Super nice service. Place is very clean. I do wish they would wear gloves while handling the donuts. The donuts we're not fresh, but tasted a day old. maybe this was the reason she went to the bank to get my donuts instead of getting them from the display out front. I will still go and check on them one more time.

I can't say how good Ray's is. Go and get a fresh doughnut. Or grab a breakfast sandwich, bagel, croissant, or my favorite Sausage, Bacon, Potato, Egg, and Cheese Burrito with the best hot sauce. Friendly greeting as we walked into this super simple little donut shop/cafe. The donuts are light, sweet and heavenly. The true test of a donut shop for me is the simple yeast donut with glaze. These were the best I've had since my grandmother made them. I definitely recommend satisfying your sweet tooth or making your entire work place smile by picking up donuts here!

This place is usually good. The food that is. The service is HORRIBLE. I went today after telling myself I wouldn?t go back. I get the same meal every time. At least when the guy was cooking, the orders was right. Now the lady who used to take orders is cooking and she MESSED up my order when it was CLEARLY written on the bag. I went there around 2 p.m. and I'll blame myself for going too late but my doughnuts were stale. I couldn't tell until we got home but they were rock hard. I might give them another chance during the morning hours and change my rating if they're better. Right now it's two stars but the cashiers were pleasant.
