Been going here for years now but lately I've been sensing some animosity towards black people. I haven't been here for a few months and decided to visit again but recently I'm noticing that the owner/server treats people differently. White/white passing people are greeted warmly and the engagement is open and welcoming but when a black person is being served, there's no greeting, the conversations is very clipped and unwelcoming and the overall atmosphere is uncomfortable. I visited this place on 4/25/25 and the lady behind the counter greeted a group of Mexican men with a smile and greeting before taking their order. Once it was my turn she never smiled, she didn?t greet me, all she said is ?what can I get you? so I ordered 5 cinnamon twists and she looks at me and ask can I pay cash. I said sure but I didn?t hear you ask anyone else that question. I pull out a 20 dollar bill and she told me to place it on the counter. I told her no that I worked hard for this money and that

What can I say? They have your regular selection of doughnuts. No French Cruller which is the doughnut I like. On the early 7am Saturday morning I took our kids, the place was busy with people in and out. Prices were good compared to some other doughnut shops.

Love having Quality Doughnuts up the hill from our house. The yeast doughnuts are to die for - so light and fluffy. And the prices are unbeatable. Apple fritter and maple bar are our favorites. Try it!
Prices are good, location is nice however that's about where it ends. Apple Fritter was inedible due to how greasy and flat it was, like a saucer of a fritter. The plain glazed and donut holes were just ok.

OMGoodness delicious! There is nothing here I would not devour and they are so very, very kind here. They make the MOST scrumptious apple fritters here!!! Small, unremarkable but cheap and decent quality donuts. 2 flavors of coffee and some milk and other odds and ends in the fridge. It's the only business in the middle Oakland hills in this area so it is much appreciated.
They used to be the best donut place around. But NOW they have been serving me day old donuts. I called to talk this matter out but I got hung up on. After I told the lady the last 4 times I came in she gave me non fresh donuts. So I called back 5 times they picked up the phone but wouldn't say anything. So she knows.
This is one of the few businesses residents of Millsmont can walk to easily. The owners are so friendly, and the old fashioned donuts are great.
