Saw the gleaming reviews and highly rated articles Promoted on Travel Wi - drove an hour during advertised hours - CLOSED. Stopped a lical woman walking her dog nearby and she said ,?well she has a habit of just closing randomly without notice - we are not happy about it but ehat can you do. If she wants to run her business this way she has the right.? DON?T BOTHER GOING HERE! Who runs a ?promoted? business like this ??!
After checking your hours on Google, I made an hour round trip drive to try your bakery for the first time only to arrive and find a sign posted stating that you're on Holiday Break. Do your customers the simple courtesy of updating your hours online when you are planning to close for a number of days.
The best baked goods around. Was there right away when they opened and the doughnuts were so fresh!!!
I had them make cookies! They taste good but don?t look appetizing at all. They also had an employee say my order was a pain in the @$$ to make right in front of me.
Average. I think whether you believe this is the best bakery you've ever been to depends on where you've been before. I think I had unrealistic expectations based on some of the reviews. It wasn't the best, but it also wasn't near the worst bakery I've been to. The donuts were OK, but too sickly sweet for me so we tossed them after a few bites. Nothing is labeled in the store so maybe there would've been something we liked more. Prices are very reasonable.
A staple throughout my childhood and adulthood. Some of the best donuts you will EVER have. We regularly drive from Milwaukee to visit loved ones in Dodgeville and HAVE to stop at QB ??
Pulled into Dodgeville today to stretch our legs and saw a sign for Pasties, had to check it out! Grew up eating Pasties in the U.P., so I am experienced. Waited 5 hours to get home and warm them up for dinner, so good! I just told my husband we could day trip the next time I crave a Pastie! We each grabbed a donut for instant satisfaction. Thank you for continuing your family business and putting in the hard work to serve your community!

We were camping at Govenor Dodge State Park on Saturday May 11..ran into Dodgeville for some bakery...imagine our wonder when we came across the best bakery we have ever been to...from the apple pie to the cherry turnover to the rolls...soooo ggooood and the two young ladies at the counter were the sweetest most delightful helpers ever. Thanks for the smiles and sweets.

The graduation cake I ordered can only be described as embarrassing. Unfortunately a friend picked it up and I didn't see it until right before the party. Shame on you for thinking this passes as acceptable!
This is a true treasure. Old school bakery rarely found anymore. Lots of options. It's too hard to decide. Everything we had was amazing!! If you have the opportunity, be sure to stop. It's well worth it. Highly, highly recommend
This is an awesome old-time bakery. The pastries you get here are delightful. I don't know what they put in them and I don't want to know but they are always a home run. Been coming here for years.
My experience at Quality backery was great I come in and get bismarks and jelly filled one a week love this backery!!
Stopped in here while visiting the city and grabbed an elephant ear. The bakery is small and designed only for pickups, there is no seating but everything is fresh and it smells good in here. This is apparently a bakery with history that has been doing the same products for a very long time. In town for a couple days doing some hiking at Governor Dodge State Park & decided to check it out. The woman running the bakery is super friendly & helpful. We purchased cookies, donuts and a couple loaves of bread- all fresh that morning- delicious!
Excellent donuts mostly all for $1 and very fresh made in the morning - you can not beat that! I would recommend getting there early because they had limited supply around 9ish in the morning. Still had a variety of donut options and were all super good.
Cookies and donuts were good. I would rate them higher if the lady behind the counter didn't make us wait while she finished her long story with her coworker which included words I sure did not want my 4 year old hearing. Not the experience we wanted. Good product. Poor service. We wouldn't go back.

I love everything about this bakery. The smell when u open the door and step in. The prices r unbelievable reasonable. Getting there early morning is best for variety. They make homemade bread and rolls. Pies cookies and of course donuts. The donuts r deliciou. Cant wait to go again.
There's a reason this hometown bakery has survived when so many large chains are trying to kick it out. The best donuts you'll ever have, a nice and light dough with incredible frosting. Plus you can't beat the prices. Definitely a must stop if you're around the area.
Small shop and not really a sit down place. Ate some of the best cookies I?ve tasted there. Mostly sweets but if that is what you are after, lots of good options.
Absolutely the worst service. I was told to call back in a few months, because it was too soon to start planning for my wedding. When I called- they said they were closed those dates. Even though- Kourtney the owner said she was available and they would cater for my wedding. Now I am left a month before my wedding, and Brian the owner told me to give him a break and hung up on me. I am extremely disappointed in their business model.
The old fashioned flavors and scents of my childhood. Pies are awesome, Bismarck sublime and cookies just YUM!
Our favorite bakery, we've been buying our favorite "elephant ear" pastries there Everytime we our camping in the area. My wife buys them 6 at a time. I personally love the molasses cookies!
Growing up in Dodgeville, I thought all bakeries were as good as Quality Bakery. Not true. Now I drive back to Dodgeville for buns for any family gatherings and to pick up their unbeatable sweet rolls. My kids LOVE the Bismarcks. Best Bakery I have ever found!

I've been getting doughnuts from the Quality Bakery as far back as I can remember, and probably even before that. I no longer live in Wisconsin, but I pay the Quality Bakery a visit every time I'm in town. I judge all other doughnut places by the standard the Quality Bakery has set, and so far, none have lived up to the Quality Bakery reputation.

I grew up in Highland/Dodgeville. Stopping at that bakery in the mornings, when i was in elementary school in the 70's and getting those peanut cake bars. OMG that was one of the highlights of my childhood. SOOOOOO good!!!!!
Stopped while in town and grabbed a few things. I'm hooked, baked goods were amazing, ladies were awesome and the prices were super reasonable!
They had what we never knew we needed...a pie that was half apple and half blueberry! We pounced on it right away. It was pretty darn tasty and we would do it again. We were there a little late in the day to get what we were told not to miss. We will have to go there first when we're going through Dodgeville, not last. We will definitely be back. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CASH :)

SIX STARS, this is the kind of bakery every town needs. Do not be upset if you show up at 9:00am and they do not have what you want. There is a reason they sell out. Whomever rates this place less than five stars, they are the problem.
The rolls I bought were very good! If I could have gotten there in the morning I probably would have had a better choice but by time I went there wasn't much of a selection.
This is truly a quality bakery! The owner was so nice and joyful!! The cinnamon rolls with cream cheese inside are DELICIOUS! 10000/10 go again.

Baked items are tender and pull apart delicious. Everything tastes different which is not always true at all bakeries.

First time going there my parents always go there so I took my son with me to go there. The lady at the counter very nice very helpful good place to go to.
My sister saw the place recently while we were daytripping, and we got a few pastries for our parents. They were horrible, pale, and doughy. Would never recommend this place to friends.
