If you're in Lexington, Pure Food is a must stop. We found this place by accident and so glad we did. We stopped in for breakfast and cant wait to get back. We were met at the counter by the owner, who was very nice. She told us to sit where ever we would like to. we ordered a BLT and a breakfast wrap. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Pure Eats is a great option in Lexington for a quick meal. The donuts are excellent, breakfast and lunch options are very good. The selection is not vast but the quality of what you do get makes up for less options. Additionally, the owner is extremely supportive throughout the community so its always good to pay-it-back and grab a meal from Pure Eats every so often.

Where to begin. First we ordered a blueberry donut but my husband ate it before I could get a picture. He did leave me one bite with was very good. He ordered the organic chicken sandwich with fries and really enjoyed it. I had an amazing veggie burger with grilled onions and mushrooms plus pickled jalapenos. If I lived closer I would have the veggie burger everyday. Yes it was that good. And an honorable mention goes to the fries which I swiped off my husband's plate.

Wanted something local and good. This place didn't disappoint at all. I tried burger with home made chips and side order of Buffalo cauliflower. Then ended my meal with their home made donut. The burger was truly delicious, chips crispy and my favorite were cauliflower sooo good. Donut is cake type but it's not too heavy & was a great way to end the meal. If I want to do one suggestion, be wanting my burger hot. Great seating outside.

We (party of 3) went for brunch and ordered two 1/4 pound burgers, one with a side beef tallow fries and the other with sweet potato fries. This place is is fantastic! The people are so friendly, food is amazing and fresh, it?s clean, and the outside seating it so nice! We had burger specials made with local ingredients that were cooked perfectly and tasted great. House made chips were crispy and not greasy at all. Balsamic pasta salad was on point! This is our new go to when we visit Lexington!

The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit is served on a homemade roll that is not bread-heavy, so you can actually taste what's inside, unlike so many breakfast sandwiches. Fun vibe, warm staff, and great food-- some days. We were told by staff that each chef cooks things "the way they like," so, for example, you might love the cole slaw with Tuesday's lunch and get a completely different recipe (!!) used for dinner on Friday. Most recently we are on a Friday evening and they'd already emptied out the iced tea dispenser an hour before closing. These inconsistencies aside, this is a charming place where you can dine al fresco and not spend a fortune.

The customer service was phenomenal over the 5 hour time me and my father were there. The view of downtown Lexington while you eat on the patio is the cherry on top.

I really liked Pure Eats. The food was great, the atmosphere fun, and an overall good experience. Just make sure to arrive earlier than I did because I missed the special house made doughnuts. They're pretty special so make sure you try them.

Amazing tallow fries and beef burger!!!! We ordered the sweet potato tallow fries as well which were also delicious. The meat is local and this restaurant is "farm-to-table," getting a lot of their food from local sources. The chocolate peanut butter donut was a great to-go treat! EAT HERE if you're in Lexington!

We had a fantastic meal here- the burgers are good, fries , milkshakes...and the donuts are some of the best I've had! Overspend a little, overeat a lot, and you won't be disappointed.

Good burgers /fries (except for charging $2.50 for 2 slices of unripe avocado) but don?t order breakfast. Ordered 2 fried eggs that were overcooked, got 1 slice of store bought bread and 3 processed triangle hash browns that were so greasy! $20 for 1 meal! Overpriced! Good service and cute place but l expect better quality food for that price.

I was looking for a place to have lunch, before hitting the road, and the receptionist at the Hotel recommended Pure Eats especially for their burgers made with local produce and their "killer milkshakes". It did not disappoint. Relaxing retro vibe, friendly staff, excellent burger, and yes, a killer milkshake. Whats not to like?

The atmosphere of this restaurant is a mix of quintessential dinner with a small bar and donut shop combined. The service is fast and the food is always good, granted you could just eat donuts there and be happy.

Got a cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly. Also added the beef tallow fries which I highly recommend (unless you're a vegetarian). A perfect place to sit outside in the warmer months to have a burger and fries!

Everything here is a la carte so it can be a bit expensive to eat a burger. My girlfriend and I both got burgers and fries. The burgers are on the small side for the price;however, I believe they use local grassfed beef which is going go be more expensive. She got a fountain drink, and I got a milkshake. Our total was almost $40 bucks. Service was fast, and the staff were very friendly. I love the old "feel" of the place. I would go here again if I visit Lexington again.

Restaurant was a little dirty with the drink station cups all being dirty as well as the counters all around it. So I did not give a perfect rating. The food was really good minus the ranch that was sour and tasted like it had gone bad. But when I said something, I was told that is how theirs is supposed to taste. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Lexington! Who doesn?t want burgers, and a beer. The milkshakes are homemade and delicious. Also they have a daily change in donut variety!

This delightful establishment, once a Pure Oil gas station, serves up locally raised food and donuts that are out-of-sight. Vegan friendly options, fried pickles are the tops.

My friend was treated very rudely. Service yelled at her and made her cry and then made our entire table very uncomfortable. Food was very mid.

If you walk in, ask if they are working a catering order BEFORE PAYING - they don't offer that information despite it causing in-person orders to be delayed by well over 45 minutes. Manager was very rude and took it very personally when I asked for a refund because of the wait. Past visits have been great, but I will not spend this amount of money to be treated like that.

We had an excellent lunch at pure eats. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and everything was delicious. Some of the best Onion Rings as well. The Donuts were also amazing. They're missing a real opportunity here by not offering a burger on a donut. I know it sounds a little crazy, but I've had it elsewhere and it's amazing. By combining two of their best menu items, they could hit it out of the park!!

Food is fantastic, well, at least the burgers are. Unfortunately just a bit to pricy for me to keep coming back, but I do still treat myself every once in a while. A burger (egg+bacon) and fries, Chicken Salad (on a bun) and fruit bowl, 4 piece mozz stick, a kids burger (plain) and drinks was over 60 dollars. Based on that I wont be stopping here often, but if you have the money, go for it. Just be warned it is expensive.

Five stars, no second thoughts. Fresh food, on a busy Saturday afternoon, served hot and promptly. If i could give six stars, i would do so for tremendous customer service!! In a world where some workers barely glance up at customers, the two workers up front today were very pleasant and kind. A definite return when in the area.

Stayed in Lexington for a couple of nights and the owner of the inn said that this place had the best doughnuts in the world, so I had to try them. He was right! I got the plain and it was delicious. Service was fast and friendly and the place had a really neat vibe. Will definitely eat here again when I?m in the area.

We just happened by this little gem! We could not of ask for better service and the food was on point! The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious as well as the burger! Everything was local grown or produced and freshly made on sight. Couldn't ask for anything better! And don't forget to get a homemade donut!

I?m local and live in pretty close walking distance to pure eats. I go often and usually don?t have any problems. But today was the worst service I?ve ever had from this place, it was almost as if done on purpose. Went in today (12/5 at around 2pm) and order 2 grilled chicken sandwiches; one with pickles and lettuce, the other with only pickles and onion. Also ordered a donut. Cashier made a phone call when going to the back (mentioned she was a florist if that helps determine who this was) and then gossipe

Homemade doughnuts were delicious, as was the French toast special. Was so jealous after tasting my husband's hashbrowns and was tempted to steal them. They were the perfect amount of crispy outside and soft inside. Staff was great! Will definitely be back!
