Ordered 4 dozen donuts for my kiddos birthday and they were all excellent! Great customer service for ordering, very helpful. I've also been in several other times to grab a sweet treat individually and they've always been good.

Selling rock hard day old or over fried donuts is lame, had to throw it away. Update: got a refund, not worth the gas to get there.

Amazing donuts!! We had Powder Day donuts for our wedding and they knocked it out of the park! Our guests have not stopped raving about how good they were! The owner is so sweet and very nice to work with. Highly recommend stopping in for a breakfast treat or having these for your next event!!

The best donuts in town FOR SURE!!!!! Now they are opening in the evenings and their dinner menu is so so bomb!!!! They have a lot of variety ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Got two plain glazed and they were terrible! Could have got better donuts at the grocery store. Hardly any glaze as you can see in the photo. They didn?t have the glazed in the case, but I asked if they had them and the girl at the counter said yes, then reached from somewhere behind and put them in the bag. Had they been out in the case where I could see them, I could have seen they weren?t worth buying. Also got a chocolate old fashioned and it wasn?t good.

What a treat! They make the donuts fresh on site every day. Jeff the owner was so friendly, welcoming and has sprinkled his quirky sense of humor throughout the shop. The peanut butter chocolate is my personal favorite, but my kids loved the maple bacon. We loved hanging out with the locals and playing foosball. Let's keep Steamboat the charming place we all love by shopping at a locally owned business. We'll definitely be back every time we are in town!

Very tasty donuts! The have the standard donuts you know and love but also some fun ones. Fruity pebbles, maple bacon and all kinds of other great donuts. The person helping us was very friendly and sweet. Definitely grab a donut next time you're in Steamboat

The powdered donut holes that they catered to Steamboat Springs resort are delicious, but the glazed donut holes sold in shop were seriously underwhelming. So greasy no flavour.

Love this spot! The donuts were big snd delicious, filled with cream and toppings. The had empanadas that were fantastic and staff was super friendly.

Amazing! Super soft and fluffy doughnuts. Chocolate creme filled was my favorite! They have an assortment of empanadas, including my favorite pabell?n!

So delicious! Tasty donut dough, cooked with a crispy outside, yummy inside. The flavors are yummy and the staff was nice enough to freshly fill a few for us. So good!

Powder Day donuts is the BEST place to get donuts. There fresh donuts remind me of my grandmas homemade donuts. Every bite is like a memory to spending time with my grandparents after a long week at school. Powder day donuts did not disappoint and anyone who had anything negative to say is absolutely wrong. I HAVE to review this shop! My husband and I did a Rocky Mountain road trip for our honeymoon and Estes/Steamboat was one of our stops. This donut shop was AMAZING for many reasons- the biggest being the owner herself! We happened upon this shop after experiencing their donut holes at Wild West Ballooning, and we had to stop by to try more. We were not disappointed! We tried about one of everything and everything was delicious! As the shop owner says, the only ones that are better are those made by the Amish (and being from PA, we can back up that claim). 10/10 would recommend!

I went to this donut shop and my high expectations were met. The donuts had a nice a balance of sweetness. I got the glazed donut as well as one that had dulce de leche and they were both delicious. I will probably return to powder day more often than expected.

Ordered my donuts ahead of time. Friendly service. But donuts stuck to the top of the box. The 3 dozen donut holes were dry most didn't even have any frosting on them.

Just moved to steamboat springs from Michigan and my first morning in town I stopped in here by a stroke of luck. Coming from the Midwest we love our donuts and this place is serving the best donuts my well traveled pallet has ever tasted!! Please please please go get yourself at least one donut here. You?ll only be disappointed that you didn?t buy a bakers dozen.

The Apple Fritter is awesome, unlike any Fritter I've had before. Crusty to slightly crunchy exterior with a fluffy, apple/cinnamon rich interior. I find most doughnut shops either serve overly crunchy/greasy fritters or basically bread balls. Very friendly customer service on top of a quality product, can't beat that!

These are amazing donuts. Seriously the best apple fritter I've ever had. Each donut had the perfect amount of glaze and an amazing balance of crispy and soft in texture. Can't recommend this place enough. Service was quick and helpful in understanding the selection. I may go back again today....

Tasty donuts overall for those we tried, not much variety late on a Friday morning. The raised glazed were smaller than one's we usually see, but super flavorful! The apple fritters were a bit greasy and hard. We?d definitely give it another try, but earlier in the morning for a better selection.

A superior donut. I wish they made a cider donut, but what they have is fantastic. If you get there early enough to get a fresh raised donut...it's better than Krispy Kreme by a large margin.

Powder Day makes awesome donuts. They have a lot of different flavors. Makes it hard to choose I was visiting my sister for 4th of July with a lot of family. I got 3 dozen of assorted donuts. The favorites were the Boston Cream, Maple bacon, jelly filled. The little kids loved the fruity pebbles donuts. Yes, it's an iced donut topped with fruity pebbles cereal. Great donuts and great service. Best donuts here are the old fashioneds (original and chocolate glazed). Yeast donuts with various toppings are solid as is the double chocolate. Mysteriously missing are fluffy white cream filled donuts though they do have Bavarian cream and fruit filled. September 2018.

They have a wide array of delicious donuts and the staff were very friendly. I normally get jelly donuts and it was LOADED with jelly, yum! Don't forget to treat yourself with at least one cake donut too.

This is the only place I know of that makes donuts in Steamboat and the man who served me was quite NICE. By 11 am most of the donuts had already been sold, which is saying something!! However, I didn't love the glazed old fashioned I bought, so I'm not in a rush to go back...

Got some donuts for the office today. Great service. The owner was SO kind and generous and the donuts are AMAZING. I have never had a donut with so much custard- it was great! My coworkers all agree that the donuts are delish!

Noticed this spot strolling through town, on vacation, and we?re like oooo, doughnuts...because why not? We each bought 3 each because it was buy 5 get one free. We had intentions of ?sampling? and not eating them all but...we ate them all....Great doughnuts, perfect texture, great flavor. I really loved the raised one with peanut butter and chocolate on top, and the pumpkin cake doughnut.

So I came here after noon and much to my chagrin they had already closed. Hey, I get it, donut shops open early and close early but clearly I was disappointed and made a real sad face to my wife Lo and behold, a guy (owner? manager?) comes out of of the shop and says he saw me and had some donuts he had left over from the day and just handed me a bag of four donuts and refused payment. Try going there twice in the last 10 days. They?ve always been closed. They need to change their hours on the door and on the website if you?re not gonna be open.
