I had no problem with the taste of my order but was very disappointed in the quality. The attached picture is what they served as a boudin kolache. It ended up being 99% bread with a teaspoon of boudin.
First of all come very early around 6 am for fresh batch of donuts it?s super good and there very polite and quick service.
We ordered a King Cake to be sent on February 24th and arrive on February 25th for Fat Tuesday. Today, February 15th, it arrived all broken. To add insult to injury after my husband called and spoke to someone who took the call she said she would leave a note for the owner and he would call us back. He never did. We paid $60 for this cake. We are very disappointed.
Fabulous bakery items (any and all) along with great kolaches and beautiful and super delicious cakes of all kinds for all events. Items are fresh and made daily, everyday! They also cater and supply large events. Best food and friendly service. They appreciate your business, treat you well, and work hard. The owner is very hard working and wants all his customers to be 100% satisfied. Give Port Allen Bakery a try, you will love them!
Been here a couple of times in the past few weeks. Love the doughnut holes. Better get there early to ensure you get some. Always purchase the doughnut holes, dozen glazed and cinnamon twists. Didn't get the cinnamon twists the last time I was there. They are a little smaller than I remember and tasted a bit sour ( reason for the 4 stars). The ladies at the front are always so nice and pleasant to deal with.
Great bakery always got to stop in because they got great donuts and friendly staff always busy but they get you in and out quickly I feel five stars is too low because they are that great.

This place is AMAZING! You can tell that these people love what they do. The customer service is above and beyond any other donut shop in West Baton Rouge that I have tried thus far. Donuts are fresh and delicious.Try the blueberry cake donut, you won?t regret it! ??????????

I don?t know what is going on but it needs to stop or you will definitely loose customers. Doughnuts were dry and old not hot. Doughnuts should be cooked to order. Kolache?s are normally soft lightly baked and delicious. Kolaches were burnt and bread was falling off I just threw everything in the garbage because that?s what it was today, garbage! I definitely was extremely disappointed and will not be returning
Blink and you may miss it but for being a "donut hole in the wall" you won't find better donuts west of the river. Friendly and fast service. Always so nice to my kids(6&4) and thats always a plus in my book!
The food was really good and the staff was nice. The young lady waiting on customers ended up in a very loud, heated argument with a guy that walked up to the window using very vulgar language. The employee engaged herself in a screaming and cursing match with him, neither of them having any regard or respect for the customers that were forced to endure the confrontation. The donuts in the kolaches are pretty good here. they don't have a very large selection of stuff but what they have is usually pretty good. The glaze donuts are always fresh in the morning .
Ordered a Bavarian cream king cake box was marked the correct way come to find out it was another flavor came back up here to get it straight and the treated me like I was lying to them. They supposedly have one of the best cakes around br but one of the worst customer service around br. I won't be back hope the 16.00 last long time for them
The glazed donuts were fresh and hot and so soft and I don't even do glazed as much. If course the chocolate covered ?? donut was the bomb. Oh and don't forget a jalapeno kolache and a pineapple fritter.?? ??
I have changed my review because I have been ripped off twice. Once I paid more than what I should have. Another time I paid the right amount but didn't get the amount I ordered. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Check the price and the product! It gets 2 stars because the food is good . I challenge the owner to make it right.

Great little shop for breakfast or mid-morning snack. Super customer service, always friendly and welcoming. You?ll have to watch close or you will shoot right past it. You?ll be sorry if you don?t turn around and go back! The donuts are excellent and the boudin kolaches are the best that you will get east of the Atchafalaya river.

The young lady that assisted me was not wearing gloves and her bare fingers touched the doughnuts as she picked them up to place them in the box. Each time that happened, I had her replace the pastry. She was using paper to pick up the pastry but for some reason her finger and nails kept coming in contact with the pastry. Usually good fresh and hot I get the same things everytime I go the bear claw and apple fritter. This morning they both were cold hard and not fresh. I threw them out.

Bought a king cake. It was stale and had little to no filling. For $20.80 for a small king cake it was terrible.
