This Pon de Joy is next to a Pet store and dog grooming place and the mascot of the establishment is a dog btw , lol . I have spent hundreds of dollars at this location because it?s close to my house . I have been coming here regularly. I bring my dog ? Happy Bones?Its advertised as dog friendly( and read the statistics above, lol ) . Having dog treats inside and a dog bowl outside. Part of the reason I come here as well. So the service is 10 star worthy. I ordered the Dubai chocolate donut and forgot to pick it up the next day and I messaged them on Instagram and they were kind enough to replace it for free and they even threw in an extra donut. The Dubai chocolate donut was so rich and filling. I was not disappointed and I've been a customer at the Allston location and I'll be back to this location as well

This tiny small store in Newton Centre serves up several variations of what is now my favorite dessert - mochi donuts. As I was never a big fan of (overly) sweet delights, I've never bothered to try them despite hearing about it until recently at an event. I was truly surprised as I didn't just take a bite BUT finished the whole thing in less than a minute (once again, a pretty big feat for someone who doesn't prefer sweet treats). This is a fantastic little place to get mochi donuts and Boba / Lattes. The donuts are just so good and it?s always dead when I come by. I hope more folks discover this place and make it part of their routine, for the shop?s sake, and my continued access to these incredible donuts!

Highly recommend the matcha mochi donut! The service here is great and they have a wide variety of flavors. I suggest stopping by earlier in the day to have a wider selection of choices.

I thought I didn't like mochi donuts because the first time I had it (some other shop down south) was bad. After trying the mochi donuts here, I understand why they're so popular. The mochi donuts from this shop are so fresh and chewy! Also, super friendly ppl here. Not sure if he was the owner but friendly ppl like the guy is what makes the shop shines.

Is this place in business? There is no sign on the building. Parking is horrible, two parking space in front of the shop are taken by a big truck all the time. ??

The service and atmosphere are amazing! Heather was so accommodating and answered all of my questions with great knowledge! The best mochi donuts I?ve tried to this day, and the Thai tea with tapioca boba was SO GOOD!

So glad Pon de Joy is expanding, as I?ve been a fan of their original location for a while now! I?ve tried so many other shops and none so far can beat this place. The donuts are always fresh, soft, and tasty, and keep overnight really well. Loved the taro boba here as well, the pearls tasted super fresh and chewy. I also like that there?s free hot coffee available.

Okay, I like how big these donuts are but they're not as fresh as the ones at the Natick Mall in Natick, MA but nonetheless I did like the donuts and I heated it up when I got home. The size is great too.

We've only tried 3 different places for mochi donuts, but Pon de Joy is our favorite so far. Always fresh, taste great, variety of flavors, both dough and frosting are very delicious. We've tried 12 different flavors and loved them all! The only thing we should say is almond flavor was ok for us. Nothing wrong with it, but it tasted more like an almond essence vs like a real almond or almond butter (a bit bitter and I would say like a fake almond syrup idk if I described it good enough). Went to their meet and greet 2 weeks ago . They were giving samples of what is yet to come the samples were wonderful also the 2 people were warm friendly looking forward to being a regular with my family .

I feel very sad ?? this store is very small and only have very few choices. No boba ice slushy at all. Don?t come to this store try the other location.

Nobody in the store for 15 minutes, nobody answer phone. I had to drive 20 mins to pick up for work. Ending up going to another store and obviously never coming back here again
