Polar Donuts

Very welcoming, friendly staff! I am from out of town and went in to buy 4 dozen donuts for one of my accounts. They were very accommodating and the donuts looked amazing! ?? I come through this area often for work so they will be now be my "go to" for all donut needs. ?? The picture of the donuts, I think one might be a little smooshed in the middle but that is not their fault! That is from me carrying 4 stacked boxes!

I am visiting OKC and wanted to treat my team at work! Polar Donuts popped up with good reviews and nearby. I am telling you... the donuts were great! my team absolutely loved them! They didnt have the traditional dozen ect but had a box but I was drawn to the Big Daddy Box! They stuffed that thing full with an amazing variety! You have to stop here and get some donuts if your near OKC airport!

This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a donut shop! The staff is super friendly and they offer you free donut as soon as you walk in the door. Who doesn?t love free stuff? I was in a hurry, so the variety pack they had available and ready to go was perfect! Great tasting donuts at an affordable price with amazing customer service!!

Omg!!! I didn't take pictures, BUT YES!!! The service was the BEST from the minute we open the door to the time it closed behind us while leaving. We were immediately offered donuts when we walked in. The lady answered any questions we had and rang us up while wishing us a good day. I inquired about their ability to donate to a local school teachers when they return to school as hug from the community and they didn't hesitate to say yes. We stop by the place every time we come to OKC. I love that when you walk in they ask if you want a free donut. Their glazed donut is hands down the best donut I have had. The Apple fritters are awesome. I love that it?s family owned and our kids the polar bear paintings out front. Wish they had another store in Tulsa. Don?t skip out on this place.

Polar Donuts have the best donuts in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area including national chain donuts stores. Even the glazed donuts are the best ive ever had. If your in the area do your meals a favor and check out this local business. I meant to take pictures but we ate the donuts too fast. Keep in mind this shop doesn't really have a dine in option.

This place is amazing! The family that owns this shop are great people! Veteran owned as well! My wife and I get donuts from here just about every Saturday morning! And will continue the tradition forever! Thank you guys so much!

I am not usually a review guy, but my experience was so positive here. I thought I had to shout out this crew. I was greeted warmly as I walked in and immediately offered a free glazed donut. Oh my gosh do not go there unless you want to eat the most delicious freaking donuts in the positive world! I am instantly addicted to these, so delicious,light, fat and scrumptious!! What other words can I think of that are so overwhelmingly, powerful To describe the flavor and taste and absolute satisfaction Of these little circles of perfection!!! Every time I visit Oklahoma City I try to go by Polar Donuts! There are no other donuts I want to eat. The texture is perfect and they are not overly sweet! The owner & employees are always nice and you get a warm glazed donut when you walk in the door! I also stop by on my way out of town to take some home!!!???? Carol

Saw this place on a list for best donuts and thought I HAD to try it. They offered us a free glazed donut and it was amazing. We excitedly ordered a variety of their other donuts and headed home. The first thing we noticed was that our filled donuts were frozen on the inside. Which made the texture of biting into it highly unpleasant, like biting into a cotton ball. The staff at polar donuts were the nicest people in the world. We called in a large order of donuts and coffee. They had everything ready when we got there and helped us take it up to the car. Also these were the best donuts hands down that I have had. I know that this is a big claim I'm making and I wouldn't just say it, these donuts are the best! I am going to visit Polar donuts every time I'm in Oklahoma City.

This place is top notch! The donuts were fresh and the best I have had in OKC. However that is minor to report this family owed business all together is top notch! Everyone of the people working this morning greated me with a smile and was so happy, as a customer that just makes your day even better when you walk into an establishment and the workers are like that. Also being offered a fresh hot glazed donut was just sensational, for a first time customer here I will definitely go back.

I just stopped by here this morning for the first time to pick up donuts for my (picky) office, I got 6 glazed and 6 chocolate glazed. They were an instant hit in the office! They didn't even make it to the break room table where I usually set donuts. This will be the place we pick up donuts from here on out. Employees were friendly and I was greeted as soon as I walked in and offered a glazed donut. Didn?t take them up on it, but should have because their glazed donuts were fantastic. I ordered a half dozen and wish I would have just gotten glazed. The old fashioned and long john weren?t great. The chocolate icing was extremely thick and overly sweet. Overall, I?d go back just for the glazed donuts.

The fact that you get offered a glazed donut as soon as you walk in certainly doesn't hurt either.. my husband and I got a few glazed, a raspberry & lemon jelly, a cherry cameltoe, and a strong pimphand!!! I would give a 6* rating if I could. Words fail as to describe everyone there: They were all beyond friendly and always there to help, and I'm not saying that because they gave us a free (FANTASTICALLY TASTY) glaze donut. They were amazing, had plenty of options all at a reasonable price that I don't see in my town, and overall blew my mind out of the water. It all tasted great and wish something like this existed closer to where I live. Also, Lemon Glaze should definitely be more of a thing!

I saw the owner cussing out a costumer the other day after she confronted him about bullying his female employees. He only seems to hire extremely young women who are teens and then he bullies and humiliates them in front of the costumers. That?s not very professional in my opinion. The donuts are good but my niece had a hair in hers.

I was surprised to see that this establishment is owned by an African-American family only because the location is primarily where the Hispanic community is but none the less Ill support both groups. The donuts were fabulous and so was the coustomer service. I will definitely recommend trying these spots out.

I went here this morning with my sister to get donuts. This was my first time here. When we walked in the staff was friendly. They offered us a free doughnut. I received an apple spice doughnut. When I say this is the best tasting donut I have had in my entire life, I mean it. I have never had a donut with so much flavor. Legit as close to Round Rock doughnuts in Austin, Tx as I have ever had, We were traveling for a convention and stopped in on a Saturday to grab doughnuts. Warm apple fritter, and fresh glazed doughnuts as you walked in for free. What an amazing experience!! When we come back to the area we for sure will be back!

Great environment. Was greeted at the door and asked if I wanted a free donut. Of course I took it who wouldn't. I ordered my donuts,they were very tasty. I didn't care much for the apple frider I purchased but maybe it's just me. But while I was in there the owner surprised me. Not your average donut spot! Not a ditto shop just pushing out the same boring mixes so many others are using. This place clearly making things according to their own formulas. Being from out of town and looking for a donut shop, in Texas they have them on every corner in our town. I have to admit this donut place is pretty good. Not sure of the flour dough that is used, but it's pretty good. Prices were a little shocking a bit, overall 5 Stars.

(July 15, 2024 Just heard that Polar Donuts uses potato flakes in the dough nuts. This explains the odd taste i suppose.)First time trying Polar Donuts. I like that they give you a free Donut, and it was ok tasting. I ordered an apple fritter and chocolate milk. The apple fritter didn't taste good, it seemed stale or made from a bad batch of dough. Not sure what it was, hard to explain the taste, it was unpleasant.

Great customer service, always offer a free glazed when you come in. The best glazed in town, light& fluffy with perfect glaze. Lost a star because they don't do cake donuts anymore, and they used to make the best cake donuts I have ever eaten. Still love going in here and the kids love getting their cereal donuts and pretty colored iced donuts.

I have been coming here since I was an elementary school kid. The owner is incredibly sweet and I still, to this day, come in and grab donuts for my mom who can't get there on her own anymore. She won't eat donuts from anywhere else haha! We have been customers for over 20 years if that tells you how good the donuts are!

First time in and the employee behind the counter complimented me so many times and offered me a free glazed! I came in looking for something they didn't have but left with my NEW FAVORITE DONUT SHOP! The chocolate peanut was delicious and their glazed are just incredible. I absolutely love this local donut shop! The people here are incredibly friendly and they have the best donuts in town. The donuts are made with potato flour giving them the fluffiest consistency. Black owned business with a beautiful family crew that works hard to offer their delicious treats. Lots of good drinks and milk here as well. Small store with big flavor! You won't find 30 different flavors, but you will enjoy the taste & texture. Without a doubt, the best smelling and tasting maple donut I've ever had! Dough is not your traditional white - it is more of a yellow color (I'm not sure why...maybe a potato bread recipe?) but the texture is amazing. Very friendly staff.

To say that this place makes amazing donuts is a true understatement. They have a very simple selection but you don't need a complicated menu when it comes to donuts. From the regular and twist glazed ones to the chocolate longjohns and peach fritters, there is no way you could go wrong. The donuts were just okay. The glazed were the best but the powdered jelly, Boston creme, and apple fritter were dry and didn't taste good. The staff was friendly but the state of the facility was honestly poor. The kitchen which is widely exposed looked quite gross. The equipment also looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned. I've been to several other donut shops like missys and hurts when they are fresh. They were a lot better and cleaner than this facility. I don't mind paying 13+ dollars for 8 donut

Was disappointed at first because they did not have kolaches but I recieved a free donut when I walked in, then bought one, and a drink as well. When I got back to my truck I took a bite and was confused.. but hot damn that's a good donut! Too bad they're not close to me or I'd get fat off these!
