Hello Fellow Foodies! If you?re searching for a sweet treat that transports you straight to the islands, Pipeline Malasadas in Las Vegas is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly fried dough and sugar fills the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. The malasadas themselves are pillowy soft, perfectly golden, and generously coated in sugar. Each bite is warm and melts in your mouth, with a delightful balance of sweetness. The variety of fillings?from cla
Delicious malasadas! I love how fresh everything came out. It's moist within and crispy outside. Husband & I ordered the classic, cinnamon cocoa, and coffee. Everything was very good but coffee is probably my favorite. I'm excited for them to offer the custard filling option. Rather than waiting to return to Hawaii, we are very happy to have a malasadas go-to now. We will definitely come back.
Opened on the island of ?Oahu in 2016 as Pipeline Bakeshop & Creamery it was mid-February 2025 when Gayla Young?s famous Malasadas finally made their mainland debut, a small shop on South Buffalo Drive frying Portuguese Donuts fresh from 6a-9p on Weekdays and 9a-9p on Weekends. Sold at $3.50 each or cheaper by the dozen, each Pastry made fresh whether filled or Sugar-coated, guests can customize with ten options including three that change monthly such as Blueberry Custard and Passion Fruit. I live in the far Northwest part of the city; however, after recently learning (29 Jun 2025) about this business, my family and I had to try it out after our dinner. I also heard that this place switches flavors each month and since the liliko'i flavor was one of the?June specials, we opted to come here before the start of the new month; therefore, we visited on 30 Jun 2025 (the day after hearing about this place). I didn't accomplish much research of this place prior to visiting so I'm not 100% sure what f
Supporting Local Businesses with High Expectations As a local food enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover this malasada shop and eager to try all six flavors. Although the prices were steeper than expected, I was willing to pay a premium for exceptional quality and taste. Disappointing First Impression After a 15-minute wait, I took my box of malasadas to my car, excited to indulge. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was short-lived. The malasadas' burnt appearance was off-putting, and I've never seen any mala
I hate seeing negative reviews especially for such a great spot. If it's out of your price range then don't buy anything and walk away. If you don't want to wait in a long line, then walk away. If you check their IG hours, you'll know when they're open. They don't need to be open at your convenience. With that said, I am so happy to have tasted their malasadas. Being from Hawaii and knowing what Malasadas taste like and how the texture should be, Pipeline is the BEST in Vegas. I got to taste the regular s
Introduced to Hawaii in the 1800's by the Portuguese, Malasadas is comfort food. Yesterday, standing in line was like being back home where everything was familiar. I got a "half pipe" of original and a "half pipe" of coffee. I must say the coffee surprised me, it was really good. The maladadas were delicious. I can't wait until they introduce the "fillings". The location is in the best spot, especially with new Costco being built right across the street.
If you?ve been to Hawaii then you know the malasada is a favorite dessert and Pipeline brings them to Las Vegas. The storefront is small, similar to the size of a donut shop and most of the space is for their kitchen in back. They offer multiple quantity options and sugar coatings and fillings. You can easily mix and match. The malasada come out hot and covered with sugar and loaded with fillings. We sampled all the fillings and enjoyed all except the chocolate. Highly worth trying! Lots of parking on the s
Seriously, THESE are the malasadas dreams are made of! We'd thought the ones we had in Hawaii were the peak, but let me tell you, these blew them out of the water. Soft, perfectly sweet, just absolutely divine. Every single bite was pure joy. This spot has completely won us over. Get ready for some repeat business because we are definitely, without a doubt, going to be back for more of this deliciousness. Prepare yourselves ? your malasada standard is about to be redefined!
Just happen to drive by and decided to check them out. Got to speak to the one of the owners who will be traveling back to Hawaii. Had a couple two go with custard filling. I?d say one of the best. ??
If you?re craving sweets and missing hme, this is the place to go. This clean setting has tasty malasadas that have a crispy outer layer and soft doughy middle. The consistency is a little bit doughier than Leonard?s back at home but it?s yummy! I got regular and cinnamon!
Saw this place driving and stopped on a total whim. I love fresh doughnuts and wanted to give it a try. They really are pretty delicious, with the highlight being the Linhing. I?m assuming its a newer place and i want to hype it up with 5 stars for the taste but the wait was incredibly long over 25 mins for 4 doughnuts with only two people in front of me, but I guess that?s the price you pay for custom hot fresh doughnuts. Also why can?t you mix and match fillings when the doughnuts are freshly made.
Decided to stop by after seeing they just opened on instagram. It?s made to order nice and fresh. It comes out so nice and warm. I got the Half Pipe so I can try all the flavors and an extra cinnamon. My favorite ended up being the cinnamon for sure. It was so flaky on the outside and warm doughy in the inside. It wasn?t overpowering in the sugar either. Perfect balance. Def go check it out!!! The box was $22.76 total.
This place took us back to Hawaii with their original malassadas! So tasty and delicious! The service was great as they checked on us as we were sitting outside, enjoying our malassadas and waiting for an Uber. Definitely worth a little detour to try this.
Just opened. Tried all their flavors. Everything ono! Never had cream filled ones yet, but I will be back for more. This is the best malasadas I had here in vegas. Remind me of back home. Employees were cool and chill, just like hawaii. All about the aloha! They also bringing in there coffee so can't wait till they fully 100% set up. This is a must try, you won't regret it!!!
Excellent Hawaiian style malasadas. Confusing ordering restrictions on mixing it up for larger orders between fillings and dustings/glazes. Really needs to get a seating area, as everybody must wait for order fulfilment. Feels more like a travel counter than a bakery. There is a gender neutral bathroom on site. Will return when need arises.
If you from the other 8 Islands, 'dis 'gon bring you back! Finally malasadas on the 9th island! The malasadas are real deal. I've tried plenty of 'good attempts'. They are made to order and never sitting in a display case. They are literally too hot to immediately eat. And that fresh baked smell when you break into one.....oh so ono. They are perfectly soft and fluffy. Don't forget your poke test. Poke 'em! Still just soft opening for now so no fillings yet but coming soon. Coffee too. And outside sitting a
Tastes just like home! Freshly made Malasadas. Can?t wait to try the filled ones.
Got the li-hing and original with custard. Great and authentic flavor in both of them! Really enjoyed that balance of sweet and salty of the li-hing.
Better than Leonard's Malasadas back in Hawaii. Crispy outside, perfect texture inside and large. Ordered ahead for pickup, Classic, Cocoa, Cinnamon and Li Hing and they were all very tasty. Can't wait for the filled malasadas and of course the Grand Opening so they will be open daily. To the people who didn't have very nice things to say about this business, you need to remember this is a "SOFT OPENING" they are still in a testing phase for Las Vegas. You cannot just bring a recipe from Hawaii and expect
Randomly saw this building and decided to give it a try. I havent had masaladas before (minus small ones from buffets) but these ones right here are quite amazing. While its very expensive when nuying multiple, I feel that its a treat thats worth it. They swap out fillings once a month to something new so I ordered a blueberry, and liloka'i, as well as some others. Tried the blueberry one right when I got in my car and wow did it taste absolutely amazing... Highly recommend! Support your locals.
Awesome!! The malasadas are the best ever!! Yea way better than the so called Leonards. You will believe after one bite!! The shop is originally in Honolulu. But Vegas finally getting one local owned kine shop here! Definitely the aloha spirit is alive here This is the place I will be coming back again and again! I recommend 100%
The maladadas tasted delicious! It brought me back to my childhood, very nostalgic! I will definitely be back for more.
If you are like me a Hawaiian Local and you grew up eating malasadas then you will appreciate having a Pipeline Malasada. There are many varieties of malasadas back home in Hawaii. You get the true blue portugee malasada that all the vovo?s make for the traditional malasada day that you celebrate during lent. Then there?s the Tex drive in malasada that is a more dense malasada, which is a popular go to stop while driving on the eastern coast of the Big Island. Everyone has their favorites. My favorite is
Last time I bought Pipeline malasadas, it was perfectly cooked. However today's order, the middle part was a little undercooked (came in on 4/7 noon time). So my only critique is to work towards consistency. Everything else was very good-- taste, service, atmosphere. 4.5 stars
As someone who has savored the iconic malasadas from Leonard?s Bakery in Honolulu, I was thrilled to discover that Pipeline Bakeshop & Creamery in Las Vegas delivers an equally authentic experience. Their malasadas boast a crisp, golden exterior and a soft, fluffy interior, reminiscent of the traditional Portuguese doughnuts that have become a Hawaiian staple. The variety of sugar coatings, from classic white to cinnamon and li hing (a sweet-salty dried plum powder), adds delightful flavor twists that cate
I wanted a lilikoi malasada and I got a plain custard. Even so, the custard was delicious. These are as good if not better than the ones at tex drive in on big island. Nice work!
I loved it, they are great people making excellent food and they have a beautiful story.
The malasadas are closest to leonards that I've been able to find in vegas. The people there are friendly and welcoming. Typical aloha spirit. Can't wait for them to have their grand opening and be open full time
Got There 1 hour 15 minutes before they close Was turned away saying they not making any more for the day. There was another gentleman in front of me. We both turned around empty handed. Very disappointed Posted open till 6 pm. No product to sell. Good luck If you want the support of the community
Service was excellent and so were the donuts!! Glad we decided to stop in and give them a try! So worth it!! ??
Great service with a smile! The ?? Malasadas were great. One thing to note that services provided are take out not dine in.
This place hits the spot. As legit as you can get with these malsadas. From wherever in town you are making the journey, it is worth the trip. You won't regret it.
Bomb.com you these remind me of leonards on Oahu go get you some of these!!
Excellent service, and the best maladas in town.
It was ok for the price. The middle part of the malasada was a little undercooked.
So fresh & delicious. First time going here and is close to my job. :)
Best malasadas I ever had. To the ones that gave this a 1 star is just ignorance
Got to try a sample. Really good malasadas like back home in Massachusetts!!
Not sure they had a funny almost fishy taste.?????
The staff is wonderful, food is wonderful, and the experience was wonderful!
too expensive for malasadas
Way overpriced for airy small burnt breads and too much sugar. I do not recommend to anybody. ??
Excellent soft Malasadas! The best part is the option to customize each one. Even if you buy a box they will individually fill each one at your request. If your ever in the mood for a fresh pillowy pastry, stop here.
