Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chai

Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chai

Reviews Summary

Pip's is widely praised for its fresh, mini donuts with crispy exteriors and fluffy interiors, available in creative flavors like cinnamon sugar, Nutella, and bacon. The chai, especially the flight options, is a standout, with favorites like Smokey Robinson and King and I. Many highlight the long lines but deem the wait worthwhile. The birthday free dozen promotion is frequently mentioned. While most reviews are glowing, a few criticize the high price for mini donuts or find the chai watery. The friendly service and cozy vibe add to the experience, making it a Portland must-visit for many.

On a Monday around 11am the line was very long. About 45 minutes from being in line to getting my order. That being said the donuts are very good, great variety of flavors and the base donut is soft with a crisp outside. The drink I tried was a little watery but the flavors were good. Staff is also really nice, and the birthday offer is generous. Will definitely be back!

I?ll be delicate in my review. The coffee and donuts here are generally good. There may be some unnecessary hype around the quality. I sense there is a strong regional identity and connection that gives them their high reviews. Staff were friendly, and service was fast. Not necessarily very memorable or life changing. Really enjoyed the decor.

This place has wonderful chai and the donuts are delicious. It was a very fun experience as well. You can easily try all the different flavors, and they even have a chai tea flight so you can try all of them as well. I wish they had a gluten free option, but that's a big ask for a donut shop. However, they do have gluten free bars for sale, I haven't tried one So i cannot vouch for the product. They also offer a free dozen donuts on your birthday, which is nice.

We came here on a Sunday noon and waited around 15 ish minutes. The wait was worth it. We ordered flavors in maple bacon mocha cream and the May season pancake. These are small sized doughnuts. Everything was delicious especially the maple bacon ones. Sweet and savory at the same time. Surprisingly delicious. And chai teas worked really well with doughnuts Thanks to the store for the free dozen as one of our party celebrated her birthday.

Pip?s has one of the best Chai I?ve ever had! I wish I could have visited more than once during my trip to Portland. The donuts were fresh, warm and tasted great. The best part: you can order an assortment of either the chai or doughnuts to try all the flavors. I?m not even a doughnut person but I will definitely be back for more!

The wait is absolutely crazy. I don?t know why they don?t prepare some ahead of time I?d almost rather consider waiting in a line for pre made donuts? Every time I?ve gone it?s been roughly a 1 hour commitment to line and order and eating them? the donuts are good but there?s a reason I?ve only been here few times? continue your quality know that this is just a convenience issue.

Really good as suggested by one of my friend. We had assorted one there and did take away as well. I have asked them to take a video as well. Really good behaviour out there. The neutela and cinnamon was really good and definitely try option. These are like cute doughnuts and freshly made In front of you

We stopped by Pip?s Original Donuts and had a great experience. The service was friendly and fast, and the vibe inside was warm and inviting. We ordered the mini donuts and loved getting to try a few different flavors. The Nutella and the raw honey with sea salt were both standouts?definitely my personal favorites. The cinnamon sugar one tasted just like a churro, and my wife really enjoyed that one. Perfect spot for a sweet treat and some local charm. We?ll definitely be back next time we?re in town!

We love their freshly made donuts, very small in size, but delicious. We almost waited 45 minutes on line. It was crazy busy, but it was worth waiting. Dozen donut free if it's your birthday.

Tasty, shareable donuts. Excellent hot and cold drink menu. Even when busy the wait is worth it and made short by the great decor and plenty of books around the shop. I recommend Pip?s often.

Super friendly staff, plenty of seating inside. Had an assortment of donuts and they were delicious and warm. Ranging from just sweet to a bit of savory. The candied bacon one was amazing. The heart of gold chai was good, not super sweet and can taste the coconut!

From someone who has had a lot of doughnuts and doesn?t live in Portland, this place is a must try! Totally worth the trip. Always highly satisfied with the service and quality of the delectable doughnuts. And for your birthday, you can get a free dozen! Expect a little bit of a wait but it?s definitely worth it.

Pip-pip hooray! Pip?s redefines the boutique donut landscape in a single, elegant flourish: mini-donuts! Playful designs, innovative flavor palettes: Pip?s Original Doughnuts is an excellent addition to any Portlander?s day out or a tourist?s itinerary. Must-have! Delicious! Phenomenal! The maple bacon doughnuts in particular propel the casual donutter?s palette to new remarkable heights! Savory, sweet, and compactly packaged. What a delight!

Pip?s was high on our list of must-visit spots in Portland, and after hearing so much about it, we had to give it a try. We waited in line for about an hour, and let me tell you?it was absolutely worth it! We got a dozen mini donuts in various flavors, and they came out piping hot?light, airy, and not overly sweet. While we enjoyed all the flavors, the cinnamon sugar and raw honey with sea salt were the real standouts. To go with it, we tried the chai flight, which had an amazing variety of flavors. But f

I cannot get enough of Pip's! I somehow always manage to beat the line by coming early or later, and it's always such a pleasant experience. There really is no better pair than perfectly warm little donuts and complex, hot homemade chai. I'm a sucker for every seasonal flavor I've ever tried, and for the classic sea salt honey donuts, which feature the most divine local honey. My favorite chai is the Emmy Lou which is caffeine free and perfectly sweet and balanced. Pip's is the perfect pick-me-up; I have a

The Chai flight was a blast. If you love chai, get one for yourself. Be warned, it?s a lot of chai for just one person. Donuts were so small and yummy and cooked to perfection. Loved the cinnamon sugar!! No comfy seat but lots of seating options. I went on a Tuesday around 10 and there was no wait. Local artists did a bunch of the lettering and art. A unique spot for sure.

I'd rate this place 10 stars if I could. Best chai ever, best donuts ever, best service ever. I come here any chance I get. The donuts are warm and crispy and delicious. One of a kind. Come to Portland just for this honestly. Oh and if you come on your actual birthday they will give you a free dozen. Pips is the best!

Love Pip's Donuts. Went today to get my free dozen on my birthday! Thank you, Pip's for the generous gift. Just the perfect size for a quick, sweet bite. And their Chai is so delicious.

All of the chais we're good but my favorites were king& I, Smokey, and Ginger. Donuts are made to order. All yummy.

Pip's Original Donuts is hands down one of the most delightful spots in Portland!Their made-to-order mini donuts are an absolute treat ? always served hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The simplicity of their menu is a testament to how good their donuts really are. Whether it's the classic cinnamon sugar or the honey and sea salt, each bite is perfection. What makes Pip's truly stand out is their attention to detail and consistency. Every time I visit, the donuts are just as delicious as the last. Their

The food and chai wasn't what I thought it'd be. But it wasn't terrible. My favorite was the pancake donut. The service and atmosphere was great.

our favorite place to get donuts and chai! their donuts are always crispy on the outside and fluffy & moist on the inside - we always get their maple bacon flavor (the best!) and whatever the seasonal flavor is that day (we especially loved the blood orange flavor last halloween). our favorite chai to get are the king & i and smokey robinson! if you're undecided about which flavor of chai to get, they have a flight of chai you can order to try all their flavors.

Can?t visit Portland without a visit to Pip?s! Warm vibes and full cups make this a perfect place to hang out. Apple cider was superb, and I really liked the Smokey Robinson chai. Salted doughnut and bacon doughnut are the best of the bunch!

Local friend told us about this joint. It did not disappoint. Quick little bangers of doughnuts. Price is great and the quality of food is awesome. Definitely will be back when we are in the area again.

Doughnut and Chai perfection! This was my first stop when I got off the plane and it was the ABSOLUTE best introduction to Portland! They have the BEST Chai I have ever tasted! My only regret is not getting a Chai flight.

I don?t know what all the hype is about. Literally taste like fair/ traveling carnival mini donuts. I know dont hate me I don?t know why it was $15 for a dozen mini donuts??for reallllio If I were to pick the best one out of the ones I tried, probably just the original. The mango reminded me of baby food The honey one left me wondering why Cool how they give you free donuts on your bday

DOUGHNUTS THAT DAZZLE Great generous folx own this joint and they are super generous to have a free dozen on your birthday. Their Pip?s coffee blend is wonderful!

Birthday donuts from pips are unbeatable. And make sure to have them warm. They were happy to give me the free donuts too, not something I would have expected. Long line but service was quick, I'll definitely be back on my next birthday!

?Delicious warm little donuts, cooked to perfection and yummy toppings, couldn?t decide which one I liked best because they?re all so good. ?Friendly smiley faces, very welcoming. ?Stopped by 1pm on a Wednesday and was not busy. Super fast service. ?Clean tables and shop. ?Parking is by the street. ?100% recommend and will be back to try the drinks.

??If you know, you know!Pip?s is one of my absolute favorite Portland staples. Mini doughnuts, made fresh to order. Still warm. Slightly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. And not your basic sprinkle-sugar situation either. We?re talking flavors like honey & sea salt, Nutella, cinnamon sugar, candied bacon with a side of happy tears. And the chai? Handcrafted. Cozy. Like wrapping your hands around a mug of nostalgia and kindness. The whole place feels like your coolest friend?s living room if your

Soooooo good! These little donuts are served warm, made fresh to order, and don?t fall short on flavor. Pips is a welcome change from the mass produced corporate donuts we?re all used to, and the service adds a personal touch that is unmatched. Make sure to order more than you think you?ll want, because trust me, you?ll wish you had more once the last one is gone. Enjoy!

Came to visit Portland! I got 12 free mini donuts for my birthday! They give you a free dozen if you show them your ID on your birthday. The chai latte was so so good too! Please open a pips in Los Angeles!

A Portland institution. The line can be long at peak hours, but the doughnuts are worth the wait. Delicious seasonal flavors, and fun toppings to spice things up. Also fun to try the various chai's. Overall 8.1/10

Pips is absolutely adorable!! I drive in from Mount Hood several times each month to do a donut day with my 3 year old. We?ve been coming to Pips since I first discovered it nearly two years ago. (I?m new to Oregon). As someone who was born and raised in Minnesota and knows their Mini Donuts, (via Minnesota State Fair), nothing compares to Pips. Freshly made when you order, hot, delicious, OMG! So good! To drive an hour with a toddler just to have these should speak to their worth. And the chais! Omg their

Best donuts we have ever had! Husband and I were visiting from California and came across this as a top rated location during our trip planning research so we had to check them out. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back!!! Our only regret is not having enough time to return before heading to the airport! We stopped about an hour before the place was closing for the day on Monday 10/14/24 and we were welcomed by a super friendly cashier who took the time to greet us and ask us what we were up to for t

Heard about this place from friends who used to live in Portland, so we made the quick drive to see these mini donuts for ourselves. Had a great expereince. It's always busy, so just go in & wait to find a seat. We wanted to try everything donut-wise, so we did the dozen, and did two in each flavor. A dozen of these equates to about a half dozen in normal size donuts. The flavors had some interesting profiles, but they meshed well. We also got the Chai Flight since it was priced so well. Half of them were g

Unique, fun flavors and super tasty. Crisp outside, tender inside. Made while you wait, which isn?t long after you order. Can be a line but it?s not bad. Nice staff. Cocteau Twins playing, solid.

The wait is totally worth it! It was super busy, but everyone who worked here was happy and helpful! The donuts are delicious. Clean restrooms.

Delicious donuts made fresh from your order. The line often goes out the door but they have the ordering process and service process all figured out. Yes, the donuts are on the smaller side, certainly not full size but ?full price ?, but definitely worth the experience based on the quality and vibe you get from taking it all in. The chai drinks are popular & tasty too! Definitely worth a visit if you?re in the area!

A delightful little donut shop. I forget to take a picture of my donuts everytime because they are so irresistible. The staff is amazing, their actions show they really care about the place. And there isn?t a donut on the menu that I don?t like. And bonus, they make a seasonal donut each month! I?ve also found the only place I like Chai tea, recommend half The King and I and Heart of Gold together with oat milk. ??

This was the first time we had gone to Pip's. The donuts were great. I personally liked the ones without the cinnamon sugar on them better than the ones with it. Staff was friendly and answered questions patiently. The Chai flight was the best part

This is a cute and fun place to take the family. They?ve got a lot of options, though they lack some nuance and skill in execution on those ideas.

We got the variety donuts platters for our group to share and everything was so good. The donuts were the perfect bite-size and gloriously warm and well balanced. My favorites were the Nutella bacon and honey sea salt, but all of them were delicious. Our group also got a chai flight and their spiced apple cider as well as iced coffees. Unfortunately the chais were disappointing because the milk to chai ratio was off, making everything taste very milky without enough spices, but the apple cider was delicious

A donut shop that makes the donuts fresh as you order. We were disappointed in the donuts. They were overcooked and crispy. They have a rotating list of flavors. There are several types of Chai and coffee too

Not a donut person, but these are phenomenal! My favorite are the cinnamon sugar and Nutella. Highly recommend!

Best donuts in the PNW!! ?? There is always a line so come prepared to wait. It?s definitely worth the wait! These donuts are incredible! Try the bacon topped ones you won?t regret it. You can get a free dozen of donuts on your birthday and up to 7 days after your birthday just bring your I.D. card. In addition to the amazing donuts this place has the best Chai Tea in all of Portland. All the locals already know that this place is off the hook but for anyone visiting it?s a MUST to visit this place!! You wo

I rated 4 stars because of the parking is very very limited! I like the decor and pink tiles. The donuts are scrumptious n delicious! Never come on the weekend or there will be a long line. We came on a Thursday morning, there was no line and no wait. When we sat down for a few minutes our order was ready. Then there was a line when we were eating our donuts. Also we ordered 4 each my my mom I, so 8 total. They gave us 2 donuts added for free which was nice. We got a great parking spot right by the door! I

The best mini donut ever. Highly recommend. A dozen is only $10. Keep supporting local businesses like this! There is always about 20 to 30 minute wait and by waiting you get steaming hot mini donuts when you walk out. I would rather wait about 20 minutes and get hot donuts. Every staff was super friendly. We ordered a dozen, two of each flavor. My favorite is candied bacon maple flavor. If this is your first time get one of each flavor! Tips: you get a free dozen if you come on your birthday or w

First time trying it out, will definitely become one of ourgo-tos's when visiting Portland. The crunchy exterior and soft inside was truly satisfying. And we really can't believe they aren't greasy! Their Chai was soooo worth trying, and their cinnamon sugar donuts, so so good. Highly recommend checking them out. All the ones we got were really good flavors and not overly sweet. So many options, one dozen was not enough for the two of us lol

It is unreal how good these donut are! It is hands down the best donuts I?ve ever had. Kinda like they should be categorized as not donuts but something of a higher calling. Seriously though the staff was great, donuts were amazing, and the chai was really good! Will certainly be back!

One of my favorite local donut shops in town. I love that they are bite sized allowing me to try a variety of them out. There are usually lines, but definitely worth the wait. You can also get a dozen free on your birthday! Overall, a must go place and must eat them fresh! You will enjoy it more!

Hot fresh mini donuts, what more can you ask for? Perfectly bite sized so you can try all of the flavors. The strawberry rhubarb was my favorite. Glad I made this my last stop before leaving Portland.

If you have never been here, I HIGHLY recommend this place. Every order is made hot and fresh just for you. The staff is amazing and on the day of your birthday ?? ?? they will hook you up with a free dozen donuts. They also have seasonal ones(strawberry rhubarb currently) and a few other selections that are phenomenal. So make a stop in and grab some donuts. You won't be disappointed

No words for this place and absolute hot and delicious donuts I never had before. And I love them more for they offer 12 free donuts on the day of your birthday. It's a really great place to try some small, cute and definitely delicious donuts ever existed!!!

Go just go and go now! The line is pretty long but moves fast. It?s a cute donut shop and with some flavors. My favorite was the one with honey and cinnamon and I think Nutella. All the chai teas where good. I did the flight and did half hot and half cold. I would suggest doing that to get the different taste. Also sweet treat on your birthday and seven days after you get 12 free donuts but you have to show your ID ?? I wish they had this place in SF or the Bay Area. I want to go back when I?m visiting Port

Tasty Donuts. Friendly Staff. Expect a line at all times. We waited behind 20 people and it took 30 mins to order. Prices are ok. This is a interesting place bc down in phoenix at Bobby-Q BBQ Restaurant and Steakhouse they produce these donuts for free just like bread at restaurants. Overall cozy atmosphere just a nice place to check out but don?t expect amazing quality.

Been meaning to visit what I?ve been told is the place with the best donuts in Portland, and today the stars aligned along with it being my wife?s birthday. We were gifted a dozen donuts. Twelve mini-donuts with various toppings. They were delicious. The just fried, warm donuts melt in your mouth. We had chai which was something different for me but it went well with the sweet donuts.

Love Pip?s!! Long lines around 11-2 on most days, parking is on the street and in the neighborhoods only. Tables are first come first serve (usually after you order) Their menu stays the same all year round, and they have 1 seasonal flavor that changes usually something fruity (e.g. banana, strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, etc.) and they have a secret menu you can ask about. Their house chai is pretty ok, definitely spicy and full of flavor. But their matcha and coffee are superb! Prices used to be so low

Believe the hype! These are THE BEST doughnuts I have ever had in my life. My husband agrees that Pip's has the best doughnuts and for the 10 years we've been together he's always sworn by the doughnut shop in his hometown-- so that's saying a lot! The doughnuts are fresh and made to order. Everyone in the shop was super friendly and very accommodating. The shop was very relaxing and there was plenty of room for seating. The line does get long but it moves quickly. My favorite donut was the sea salt and raw

Donuts are a big thing for me! This place had a line but it was worth the wait! The chai was to die for and the donuts were a bite size flavorful masterpieces! If you have time please stop by and come early so you can get some of this amazing donuts!

We went there on our birthday to get a free dozen donuts! Although we waited around 30 minutes on Sunday, it was worth it. The donuts were so freshly fried, workers there were so sweet. The donuts were not too sweet so that you could enjoy each flavor. And they are so fluffy!!! I would recommend eating while they are fresh! We tried every taste, and I loved the one with Nutella. There were some spaces to eat inside too! Visiting there will be our birthday tradition!

Loved this place! Stopped by on a Wednesday morning on our way to hike. Donuts were perfectly warm with a great texture. We tried all of the ones they had - cinnamon sugar, Nutella/salt, honey / salt, cinnamon sugar + Nutella salt, maple bacon, chai and marionberry. I loved all of them really. Honey salt is a nice simple one (also I'm a sucker for salt in my sweets), maple bacon is an obvious exciting one and the marionberry jam was super good. We also got the chai flight which I've never seen before but a

Great donuts! I visited Portland and was recommended two donut places to try: Blue Star & Pips. I would definitely say that I enjoyed my pips more. The donuts err on the cakey side and are more fresh/crispy since they are made to order. If you haven't tried them all, I would highly recommend doing so. I thought each was delicious in its own right. If I had to pick, I would say the seasonal coconut custard and the cinnamon sugar were my favorites. I usually find the glazes and fillings too sweet, so I pleas

Still dreaming about the candied maple bacon donut! Place is kinda small but cozy inside; parking very limited. I arrived about 30 minutes before they opened on a Sunday and there was already a line. Once open, the line moved at a decent pace. I ordered a dozen - they are bite size. 10 stars for flavor (warm donuts for the win).

We went around 11 am on a Monday and there was a half an hour long line. But it was still worth the wait. We bought the donuts and chai. The freshly made donuts are mini sized and come out piping hot in various flavours - this was epic! They have donuts in seasonal flavours too. Apart from the donuts, we got the flight of chai - five different chai, 6 Oz each, available hot or cold. We got the hot chai, and my fave was the heart of gold. Fantastic service too! Definitely worth another visit for the made to

We had the chai sampler and our favourite was the King and I and Emmy Lou. Mini doughnuts were all good but Reggie Lee and especially the bacon stood out. Like up wasn?t too bad when we came at 1030 on Friday.

Pip?s donuts have some of the best donuts in portland. Would definitely recommend! I like getting them by the dozen, and on your birthday you get one dozen free. The cinnamon sugar ones taste the best, so if you ever choose to go, make sure to try those

My husband and I have been huge fans of Pip's for many years, and the love multiplied exponentially when they catered our wedding last September! They served fresh donuts from their truck during the reception, and it was absolutely one of the most special parts of the day. The donuts and chai were outstanding of course, the servers were incredibly kind, and we are still hearing from our guests that it was such a fun and unique addition to the day. Thank you will never truly cut it!

The doughnuts are worth the wait! They may be a little pricey, but are a good treat. Make sure to come here on your birthday (bring your ID) for a dozen doughnuts for free! I used my birthday as an excuse to try them for the first time and got half cinnamon sugar and half Nutella. The Nutella ones were my favorite! Their chai is also excellent and they have multiple to choose from.

SOOOOO YUMMY!!! long line but went quickly & was worth the wait!

If you love chai, you?ve found the best place! It?s totally worth trying the chai flight and trying all the donuts they have. The best one was the honey and sea salt, it?s perfection! The other flavors are just as good too. They?re probably the best mini donuts I?ve ever had. Out of the chai flight the Heart was my favorite, it?s just so unique with the coconut and turmeric.

The donuts are almost bite-sized meaning you can share if you really wanted to but you should all get your own donuts because they're all that good! You'll want to devour each donut you try in one inhale. The chai variations are hard to choose from. Definitely worth coming back and trying each signature chai drink. The employees were friendly and had great recommendations, and customer service was fast. The establishment is clean, offers plenty of seating and has a large waiting area that you can enjoy wh

Okay if your in the Portland area - GO! Worth the wait! Unique and delicious!! I could stop there but since I believe spending energy on lavishing praise?.here goes! Pips deserves it!! ?? I hadn?t been to a place where you can get a flight of donuts or a flight of chai to sample before. But wow, how yummy and fun! First, I?d tell you not to be intimidated by the line. I happened to arrive five minutes before opening via Uber and as an out of towner I was surprised. My niece had picked our meet up locatio

It was a nice and sweet donut and chai experience. The doughnuts are small so it's great for trying different flavors without being stuffed. The atmosphere is very relaxed and chill. Only thing is there is no wifi, so unfortunately not a study spot.

Worth the wait! Only wish people in line were more respectful of social distancing but that's no issue of the establishment at all. Hands down the best donuts I've ever had but honestly I'd wait in line for a smokey robbinson chai daily if I could! Such a simple menu and product which is part of the quality. Can't wait to visit again. Eat them warm for best satisfaction.

I was very disappointed with my visit at Pips. Having woken up at 2:30 am and flown from LA, all I wanted was some good donuts. I did not get that here. The pricing for the amount of food you get was abysmal, and though my cashier was great, and the food came out relatively quick, The donuts were comparable to a 7/11 cup of donut holes. Just for triple the price. I will say they look very pretty, my hot chocolate was also pretty bad. But it was better than the donuts.

Pip?s is awesome. It?s got all the elements of a great coffee shop, but since I stopped drinking coffee, I prefer the chai and they know how to do that pretty well. Also, the donut flavours are all good in my opinion so getting two of each is my go to.

We tried their mini donuts and heart of Gold chai tea there. The crispy bottoms of the donuts made them just that much better. These are definitely the elevated versions of mini donuts from the county fairs!

It's crazy waiting 40 minutes for this on a weekday morning. The donuts were good, but it's pretty strange to price mini donuts at the same level as regular donuts at any other store. There's basically one donut flavor with a bunch of different topping options. The chai was very watery, and the Smokey Robinson flavor was just one of the worst drinks I've ever tasted in general. I do not understand the hype at all.

Fresh hot donuts made to order! Perfect bite size, lightly sweet and pair every well with the Chai selection. We like the ?King? Chai and the ?Lavender? Matcha as well! Top place to visit in Portland!

The line to get into Pip's was decently long but still went bye quicker than I anticipated. Service was great, with pretty reasonable pricing too, and our food came quickly without any issues. I would definitely recommend the Candied Maple Bacon donut, though all of them are good too. Overall, I'd definitely come here again.

Pip's really came through for us after our original wedding dessert vendor ghosted with no refund of our deposit. They were so easy and kind to work with and everyone RAVED about the donuts at our wedding. They're truly good people making amazing food and they have our forever loyalty as customers. A must visit in Portland!

A donut doesn't need to be over the top to be perfect. Quality of these donuts was phenomenal. Crunchy exterior, warm & fluffy inside. Not over sugary or oily. They are perfect bite sized donuts. We got 8 to share & a chai. It was $15 ish. Presented beautifully on an adorable plate. 10/10 recommend I really enjoyed that I didn't feel gross after eating so many of these donuts.

Flew in from Houston to check out their donuts and it was pretty good. I asked for their top 6 donuts and the 2 that really stood out was the harvest peach donut and the candied bacon walnut donut. The Smokey Robinson chai latte was perfect. Not too sweet with a smooth flavor

Bite-sized delicious donuts. The queue is very long as you already know from reading the reviews, but this also means you get a freshly fried platter of donuts! The donuts are more of the the 'cake' type than 'bread' type. My favorites were the bacon one and the Nutella honey one! I also enjoyed the chai (Smokey Robinson)!

After all these years, they still got it! Pip's still delivers and if you're bringing people from out of town, get all the special flavors. You won't be disappointed. 48 seems like a ton but it's a good thing they max you out at 4 dozen cuz we put those away like no one's business! Great job Pip's for staying consistent and keeping the line moving.

honestly chai may have outdid the donuts! The King and I was sooooo good. I want to try all the flavors. Waited in line for about 20 minutes, donuts and drinks came out very quickly after we ordered. Nice staff who didn?t rush us despite there being a long line out the door! Lived up to the hype.

If you're visiting Portland, this is a must go place. BEST DONUTS I've ever tried, especially the bacon one. We went there on my birthday and were given free dozen assorted donuts. We tired flight chai, with 5 different flavors and they are so good. Expect long lines especially during weekends.

Do these shops offer delivery or pre-orders?

Many do! Listings include details on delivery partners, online ordering, and whether you can reserve boxes for pickup—perfect for gifts or events.

I want to send donuts as a gift. Can I do that here?

Sorry, but we don't support this yet! But we are considering adding this option!

What are “limited-time” or seasonal flavors?

These are exclusive donuts offered for holidays or specific times of year—like pumpkin spice in the fall or strawberry shortcake in summer. Check back often—they go fast!

Is this just for big cities?

Not at all. We’re expanding constantly, including small towns, roadside bakeries, and regional favorites. Sweetness knows no bounds.

What if my favorite donut shop isn’t listed?

Let us know! You can suggest a shop directly from our site. We’ll check it out and add it if it meets our standards for quality and service.
