Pettit?s is my favorite donut spot in the city. Always has a wide selection. Love the apple fritters and old fashioned from here. Everything is very very good tho. No frills old school donut shop. Reminds me of my bakery from my small hometown. Service is always friendly and quick. Answer any questions you may have. The place has a great vibe to it! Definitely worth checking out your family or office mates will thank you for it!

I am pissed! Why did no one tell me about this place sooner! 70 years and I just found it. This place is the best. The variety of flavors and options was amazing. The sweet ladies behind the counter were helpful and answered any questions the line of people had. After my kids tried several options they've decided that this is their new favorite place. They can taste the difference of how they're being made. Just a better quality. Grab a box you won't regret it.

Order that graduation cake. It was false advertisement. Because what I ordered. They didn't get shipped the right Icing. They proceed to use it without notify, To let me know that was a change in the order that I paid for. I serve the cake at the graduation party. I have multiple complaints, That it tastes like they were chewing paper or wax. I call today I spoke Mark the manager. The best donuts I've had in Omaha! So many options of donuts and pastries! Every single one was so fluffy perfect. The plain cake donut had a very unique flavor I've never tasted before. Normally they have a lemon flavor, but this was very different and good! The chocolate glaze was more of a sugary flavor than chocolate which half the family preferred, the other half prefers a stronger taste of chocolate in the glaze. We will be back to try more variety in the future!

What a cool bakery! One lady baked all this thiso morning! Great values and wonderful customer service. Donuts are fantastic, and fun! Cookies are great too! Easy place to get to as well. They were really good with the kids and had tons of patience. All their customers seemed pretty happy to be there as well! They do have coffee, slushies, and a cooler full of milk and juices. We will be back!

My kids new favorite place. Oreo, fruity pebbles and lemon strawberry crunch were a HIT! Came late after a CWS game and I was impressed with the selection. They must have been cooking all day in the 90 degree heat to keep the cabinets full. Given the amount of traffic I?m sure they saw the lady behind the counter was kind and curious at almost 5pm. We will be back!

I have only tried their donuts here, but they are absolutely delicious! Definitely one of my favorite donut places in town. The place is a bit small, so it does not have any seating indoors.

Stopped in for breakfast and they had an excellent selection of fresh donuts with awesome flavors and toppings. Prices were extremely reasonable and everything was delicious. Would love to have more coffee options but as a bakery they excel at what they do. A great place to stop in for fresh baked goods.

Got my sister's birthday cake here and it turned out absolutely amazing! Everyone there was so kind! Amazing service and the cake was so good! Will be coming back to get more cakes in the future.

Pettit's is the bees knees. Here's why. I was a covid bride that had to reschedule her 5/30/20 wedding to 8/7/20. Planning 2 weddings during a pandemic is difficult, but one thing I knew I wanted at my big wedding was to support LOCAL. I reached out to Mark at Pettit's who was more than willing to work with us and provide the most amazing desserts for our big day. We wanted wedding donuts, cake balls & mini cheesecakes. Was in Omaha for a business trip and saw this donut shop and decided to stop by and get a few donuts. The place is a no frills place but I loved the donuts. The staff was very friendly and made recommendations: the bacon maple was my favorite and second was the peanut butter pastry.

Nice little shop. Lots of selections on a Sunday morning. Wish they had buy by the dozen pricing. It's all individually priced. Service was ok. She did answer all our questions. Cost was a little high with no by the dozen pricing.

I went there about 3 hours ago. The lady was really nice, she even recommended me the peanut butter cinnamon, and turns out it was DELICIOUS? And the price? I almost think it?s a crime to sell that spectacular donuts with cheap price. Definitely come back here when I come to Omaha again. ??????

Some of the best donuts in Omaha. The service is always awesome as well as the choice of donuts and pastries. Lately I?ve been going once every weekend because I am in the area early morning. Thank you for the awesome donuts!

This place is horrid! I ordered a mermaid cake for my daughter?s 9th birthday, sent pictures of what I wanted, and still got nothing even remotely close to my request. Then upon serving the cake we found shrimp shells inside! Not shrimp but just shells which means they were more than likely in someone?s mouth first. To add insult to injury I email them about the issue and they are not even remotely apologetic about the food waste in my cake! They stated ?there are no shrimp shells in the bakery?. Like that?

This is the reason why they have been in business for 70 years. At 12 o'clock noon, this box is considered day old, but to me and the rest of the DONUT LOVERS.. Darn good!!!!!

I lived in Omaha until 1998. Petites was always our go to for donuts. Every year I come back to visit and I make sure to go there again. I am in Omaha now and am making the trek over this morning and will stop by on my way to the airport to get them again to take home.

Absolutely NOT what it once was! Prices are outrageous. 2 dollars for 1 donut and they basically demand a tip or give you the evil eye. I will never walk into this ghetto donut shop again as long as I live. Whoever is giving this place 5 star reviews must be family and friends or fraud.

One of my favorite places for those yummy donuts and pastries, cakes and delicious cookies! BUT, I can only give 4 stars bc of the raised prices. When traveling we always try to find a local donut shop to sample the local flavors? and this is BY FAR one of the BEST shops we?ve been to! We tried the ?S? almond croissant, Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut, Maple Bacon donut, and Strawberry Crumble donut. All very good but our favorite was the Blueberry Crumble donut!! Pettit?s has gone down hill. They misspelled my daughters name (Millie), crammed words together, the decorations appeared rushed even though the order was placed TWO DAYS in advance, and the cake itself slouched at each corner. Appearances could?ve been looked past, if the cake weren?t dry.

LOVED the birthday cake we got here! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for! It was so cute! Great colors and beautifully decorated, also great price did not break our bank, and it was delicious!! Old school hand cut donuts made fresh the Bavarian Long John was amazing as was the raspberry glazed Long John!! They have such an amazing selection that its hard to make a decision! The Service was fast and friendly too!

We used Pettit?s for our wedding cake - 1 tiered cake and 4 sheet cakes - chocolate, white, almond raspberry, and strawberry lemon. We were in downtown Omaha for a wedding and decided to stop by Pettit?s on the way out of town. Oh my !!!! This place had unique and extraordinary pastries and the price was incredible! Staff was exceptional and friendly and we loved the donuts and specialty pastries. Worth the drive no matter where you are from!!

This is a no for me. Don't believe the other reviews. They were very nice inside. The donuts tasted terrible. Dry and almost old, greasy, and so bad.

Great customer service and tasty donuts. First time I came here I got my donut for free and the second time I got an extra donut for free. Maple bacon donut was delicious! Employee was candid about which donut I would enjoy. Although I disagree with her now that I?ve tried both. The regular donuts are better than the cake donuts.

Fantastic experience at the bakery this morning. We were given a free donut for our dog Fidget and we got several more for ourselves. Everything was excellent, and the ladies in charge were extremely friendly and helpful. If I could give six stars, I would.

Everything tasted great! Apple Fritter used to be "my all time favorite." Now the Cookies & Cream is. What's been new to me is the peanut butter frosting. Everything's always so yummy and perfectly displayed. I used to order layered????for my Family's Birthdays. Graduation????& Larger sheet cakes is also available, when placing order(s), in advance. Not too sweet. Just rt, never dry and perfect for any time of day or night.

Pettit?s has really stepped up their game over the last few years, and they are producing some very good tasty donuts. I?m taste alone and freshness they would get five stars. But I have been going there for the last five weeks, and it always cost $29 for two dozen mixed rolls and donuts. This morning I go there and it?s $39.I may or may not go back. $40 is too much.

I?ve been having a birthday as far as I know or anybody has a birthday my family I wouldn?t get my husband his birthday cake. I just got one out of the freezer. It was good. Stopped in for some donuts and stood at the front counter for several minutes with no employees present. One employee walked by and took notice that they had customers twice but didn?t communicate with us or show any info other planned help. I could see several other employees in the back and one sitting at a desk. The lady in front of me had been there for longer and had no one speak to her. These employees need to be reminded customer service is #1 and not some annoyance.

We aren?t from Omaha but this place was near our hotel. Donuts were amazing!! My four year old who had already had breakfast wanted one right away :) The girls working were also super sweet. Give this place a try!

OMG the girl who just helped us is adorable! We arrived just 10 minutes before closing and asked what she recommended since we were from out of town (and knew they were looking to close up) and she got so excited and started asking what sort of flavors we liked and giving us recommendations on which ones we should try and which ones to heat up just a bit to enjoy even more. She was a great sales person. Haven't tried the donuts yet, but I would totally recommend this placed based on their customer service.

My go-to donut place always! Friendly staff, great selection, such good donuts, and my favorite thing? The filled donuts are actually FILLED, unlike some chain donut shops that put a tiny speck of jelly in their donuts. Can't go wrong with any choices here. And did you know they have cake by the slice, too?

The pastries are really outstanding but I feel and many others feel that we are not getting our money's worth because it seems like the bakers make the pastry and have size then what they normally are but we still pay the normal price for it that's not right to the customers many people feel that sometimes we are getting cheated to make the bakery revenue go up because we are getting half of the product but paying normal prices

Petits Pastries is worthy of a ten star review. Everything that comes out of this place is completely amazing, delicious and fabulously scrumptious. We order their cakes for all of the birthdays in our family and have always been beyond thrilled with the decoration and the taste of their cakes. Their morning pastries are fantastic as well. I?ve been going there all of my life (50+ years) and have never been disappointed. The prices are great too. They?ve got it going on. You gotta try Petit?s!!

This is been a staple of downtown Omaha for decades. The reason it is lasted so long is that the donuts taste great and a reasonably priced. It's hard to match this kind of quality unless they're really trying to produce something that will bring people in time and again. The location shows it's age. It's not fancy or modern or new. And it is style so old that it is almost retro chic. If the owners took a little time and money to paint some of the colors to pay more vibrant look it would be so totally cool

Ordered a cake for my mother's birthday on Friday to pick up early Monday morning to drop off on the way to work. Not only was the cake not made, but I ordered donuts to have something to take and I was charged full price. The lady had the nerve to tell me she could have made the cake in the time we sat there and debated about it.

Having moved to Texas several years ago, it was wonderful visiting Omaha and Pettit's at 156th & Pacific a few weeks ago very early Sunday morning. We used to go to the downtown location and pick up donuts and rolls for office birthdays (and for whatever other occasion we could think of) when we worked downtown. Being able to pick up some yummy donuts for our trip back to Texas was like going back in time! So good and the girl at the counter was so nice and so helpful while we made our selections! Good

When we started our search for a wedding cake, we knew that taste would be our deciding factor. We weren?t interested in something that looked pretty, but didn?t taste good. Pettit?s blew us away with their cakes (chocolate carrot was a huge favorite!) We were sent home with mini cakes of each kind after our tasting which was so nice! Sold the owner a soda machine and he never paid me for it. I gave it to him without pay thinking that him being a local business owner, like myself, he wouldn't do me dirty. He then refused to bring it back to me and now has decided to sell it to someone else himself. Great job! Hopefully karma works out well for you in the future in the form of $500.

If you love pastries....this is the place to go! We got a variety...like 3 boxes?? and yummy is all i can say. We tried glazed donuts, old fashion cinn. Rolls, fruity pebbles donuts, Apple fritters and frosted sugar cookies. We will be back!

We've been stationed here for 16 years, and I just found out about this place! The donuts and pastry are some of the best I've EVER HAD (and I travel internationally! )! I wish I could give this place 100+ stars!

Mr. Pettit and his crew catered the cake for our wedding, and it was wonderful! Our guests really enjoyed the cake, and Mark was very helpful through the process. He treated us throughout the entire process and made the whole thing special. Our custom birch-tree cake looked incredible as well!

I am was happy with my beautiful Wedding cake this weekend. Mark took my picture and created exactly what we wanted . The best part was not only was it gorgeous but it was so delicious. People stood in line to take some home with them ! It could not have been more perfect !

Honestly, it feels like the other reviews on this place are fake because this place was not good AT ALL. The donut displays are foggy and look like they could use replacing. The danish was definitely the ones you can buy at Costco or Sams prepackaged and they just took it out of the packaging. The donuts were not that good and the ?Texas Kolaches? were laughable. We used to go the Martin's bakery. When they closed, we were devastated. We looked around & tried several other bakeries. Pettit's has been the best. We recently had a baptism & weren't sure what to put on the cake. I was totally amazed. The taste is amazing. Thank you Pettit's.

I am 14 years old & they have a great bunch of staff. They had the most mouth-watering desserts, and it was crowded because they had a special going on at this chocolate convention. Nothing like it used to be I went there at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon and I was surprised they still had racks full of donuts. I really didn't want to get any, something told me not to but I did & the donuts were dry as HELL .I had a better donut from Hyvee

Friendly shop with good donut selection with a few pastries and pies thrown in to the mix. Don't bother with their French Crueller as it's easily the worst Crueller I have yet to taste. Top notch fritters and cake donuts.

We drove in from Missouri and Wyoming to visit our childhood pastry shop. They did not disappoint! Being super busy they still gave us great service and amazing food!! Food was soooo good!! Thank you again!

Both times I have came here the 2 girls at the front have had an attitude and are rude! This time the girl with trying hoop in her nose helped me. I asked a simple question and she responded with an attitude. This makes me not want to come back here. Needs much better customer service.

I used the website to see if I could get someone to call me and a lady did call me back the next morning so I placed my order through her and I wanted to pick up the cake on 16th (but they never got my original order). Ordered a cake and paid for it at the same time because I didn't know if I was going to be able to pick it up myself. My friend gets there to get the cake and now they're claiming we never paid. Will NEVER get another cake from Pettit's again!

I grew up on Pettit's & they are the best donut or cake-you will LOVE what ever you eat from there. I introduced it to my husband & our kids, we get our birthday cakes & our wedding cake was seriously so good I couldn't leave the top in the freezer for a year & risk freezer burn-it HAD to be eaten lol. Cream horns-crazy flakey, long johns-delic, apple fritters-light & airy...cannot be beat. I'm on my way there now to pick up some banana cupcakes w/chocolate buttercream & we CAN'T WAIT!

I used to enjoy the cream filled long johns and bavarian filled donuts, but within the last 4 months they are very dry and not much filling at all. The price has gone up and quality has gone down!!

If you are staying in one of the big hotels dowtown this place is super close. I heard they?ve been there for a long time, and their donuts were BOMB. I ate two right there and took a dozen for the road.

Everyone should be able to have a good neighborhood donut shop like here.
